WISH Discount at Runningskirts.com CONTINUES for ONE WEEK (May 20)

I have the champion ones too, but am too big and get the uni**** from them. :scared1: I went to fleet feet and got one at lunch time - did the moving comfort fiona, luckily they had a black and a white for me to try, and yes, even though I wouldn't be running without a shirt over it, for your sake :scared1: , I still felt more covered in the black.... So hopefully the girls will be happier now... :lmao:

Morgan....Thanks for the runningskirt info.

I just purchased some new Champion bras. You had to put them over your head and then snap the back. PITA is right, but I was looking for support. I began getting headaches and realized the bra was hitting on a fleshy spot on my shoulder and causing a headache. I know that sounds crazy and maybe it's because I'm in a larger cup size. I was just relieved when I realized it wasn't the exercise causing the headache. I called Champion and they are taking them back. I've heard great things about the Movin' Comfort bras and I think I'll try those next.

Tracey - Enell is supposed to be very good. I have on on order now. I misspoke yesterday when I said I wear Fiona, I wear Moving Comfort Maia. It's an underwire, but comfortable. Really like them. Oh, adn AMazon has pretty good prices and colors other than white.

since we are on the topic of bras.... the 2 UA ones I own are my serious no bounce" ones. they were pricey but worth it esp for long runs but as weird as it may sound, I have had the best luck with the sports bras from victorias secret. I like that they sell them by bra size rather than the Small Medium Large which I always seemt to be in between sizes with.... But I am not sure they even carry that line any more. I bought my last two on a clearance rack and my store doesnt have a sports section any more :(

I have a question about the discount being refunded - how long did this take? where is the refund posted, paypal account? credit card?

I placed my order two days ago and do not see a refund yet. I emailed the company yesterday. I haven't heard back yet. Just wanted to know if I should wait longer - did most people have to wait awhile for the refund?

Thanks!!

Kathy

Gotta love the sports bra topic...first, I hate bras, second, I probably don't really need one, but I wear one anyway.

I go to Walmart and usually get them for less than $5, last month I got 3 for $10. Again, I don't need support just protection from my shirt.

When I was younger, I would have liked to have more, but now I thankful for the little I have.

On the sportsbra topic, I have worn Enells and that Fiona Moving Comfort one. The Enells are a bit of a monster- they do hold you in pretty tight, but they are serious! My whites have stayed relatively white, but a pink one faded to a sort of pinkish-grungy-white. I'm horrible at laundry, so that may have been my fault. I like the Fiona because it isn't so massive (and hot) but I don't feel quite as steady.:rolleyes1 I wore the Enell for the half, the Fiona for the full and was fine with both of them.

I bought a Champion one that I wore once or twice. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good (for me). I ended up giving it to my mom since it was probably closer to her size. It's her very first sports bra. I can't begin to tell you how funny it was talking her through wearing one- she swore she couldn't breathe.

KAthy - It shoudl show up on your PayPal account. If you e-mailed them, I'd give them until tomorrow to respond if it hasn't already hsown up on PayPal.

Joan - I am jealous! I'd love to be smaller, especially when I run.

I think we do need a Women's Gear thread.. I need some recs for non-compression shorts that don't bunch when you run!

I've got the Moving Comfort Maia bra, which is like the Fiona but with an underwire. One of the websites I read said it's more controlled than the Fiona.

Renee, I do believe they still carry some on the VS website. I was looking into the Bendon Sport Max Out bra and I think I saw that they sold it on the VS site.

Morgan, how's the fit on your choqua?

I was looking at the website and am seriously thinking of maybe getting one of the pregnancy skirts! I'm 54 and done having all my babies, but i like the compression shorts underneath and the slightly longer lenghth. Plus my belly hasn't been flat in years. Does anyone else think this might be a good idea?

It's funny you say that Jean...I had thought about the same thing!!! I've not had any kids yet, but then I would be prepared when the time comes! :lmao:

Morgan, how's the fit on your choqua?

It fits well. It's not as short as I was worried it would be (i.e., I didn't want to puke when I saw the backs of my thighs in the mirror :rotfl: ). I haven't worn it out yet, since it's still a bit chilly here but I don't think I'll be terribly self-conscious when I do.

I might get brave and take a photo this weekend so y'all can see what the antithesis of a runners body looks like in it!

good to know...thanks! I have a mini dot and all black in my shopping cart...just trying to decide if I want to spend $100 on running skirts...:rotfl:

how was it shipped...ups? usps?

It's USPS Priority Mail. I ordered it Sunday and got it Tuesday. Seeing as they ship from California and you are in California, you should get it in a day!

yahoo! ok...now...do I buy one...or two...?

Yep, order two. I am already thinking I should order another before the discount ends. The discount pretty much ends up covering shipping and now I can get my chocpink.
