It is me, TammyNC, we are at WDW and I couldn't figure out how to sign DH out and get me signed in so I am posting under his name today.

I hope that chat was great last night. I am sorry I missed it, but other things called down here last night.

I don't have much to report in the committment area except that I'm trying to just have portion control this week. There are just too many good things to eat around here:D .

Keep up the great work this week and if I don't get a chance to check-in before, I will next Monday. Have a wonderful week.

my committment is my limit on snacking between lunch and dinner, no more than 4 pts and only one snack! :earseek: I did confess last night that I indulged in some starburst jellybeans yesterday afternoon and blew it, and I kept thinking, gotta do it today b/c after chat tonight I can't. oopies! WRONG thinking. Dr. Phil would be disappointed ;)

I have some "social" eating bumps in my road this week, i hope i hope i hope to be on plan though!

first one is a potential dinner out tonight, i'm actually hoping it falls through so I can avoid the temptations..................

I think you're doing the right thing by concentrating on portion control--there's too much good stuff down there not to at least have a little taste! Hi Molli! Mmmmmm...Starburst jellybeans...You always make me hanker for those yummy snacks! Good luck with your social eating roadbumps:) this week--I bet you'll cruise right over them!:moped:

I had such fun in chat last night! OhMom has inspired me to sell all my loose skin on ebay. I guess I'll have to split the profits with her though, since it was her idea!:p

Melanie...It was good to see you in chat, sweetie. We're all here for you...:hug:

I've done well sticking with my committment of exercise 6x/week, eating nutritiously and not past 7pm. I'm going to continue to stick with those promises this week, too.

missed a really good chat last night! I was in the Monday mentality ( too tired to do anything) - fell asleep on sofa and then just went to bed - and missed all the good stuff ;) whine, whine, whine - okay I am done :p

I am here to say that I have been staying within my plan of 1 hour exercise 6x a week and no eating after 7:00 whhich are the biggies. I plan to do that again this week through Thursday at least - the FINAL day of my contract.

Now I don't plan to change much after then, because I now am in the HABIT of doing those and a couple of more things - so I will just continue on!!!

This has been such a wonderful place for me to be accountable - thank you all for remaining faithful, which in turn kept me "on the ball" - thank you - thank you - thank you- my committed friends!!!

And, I won't even ask about e-baying "loose skin" but if ohMom can get a cut for half - she will be thinking Disney cruise with the "take" I am just sure of it ;)

I am going to try to get back into the swing of things here. It's not that easy to get that desire to post.

I did manage to do Complete Aerobics and Weight Training today, so it felt good to do something that felt like a normal routine. I didn't eat till about 2pm this afternoon though. That was bad. I just couldn't get into eating today. I didn't go to WI on Monday night because I didn't get home from the airport till 5pm and WI is at 6:30pm. I had thought about going, but then DH called from Georgia and it was nicer to just do nothing and sit and talk to him. I did weigh exactly what I weighed the week prior at WI, so that was good. For the most part I did well this weekend, considering I had no control of what I ate. Friday and Saturday I was within my points, until 9pm when I broke down and had a cookie bar. There was so much food around, and most of it was southern type fattening things. There was so many desserts too. Very hard to resist when you are stressed, but I had the one Sat night and a half of one on Sunday. Sunday I had a bigger breakfast that used most of my daily points and I probably did ok for dinner because everyone went to Red Lobster. I did have dressing on my salad, which is probably the only thing I should have changed at that meal. Monday I was back on track for points. All in all, considering all the stress and no control that I had I didn't let my self overindulge and turn to stress eating. In years past I would have eaten myself sick.

Tomorrow I am going to try to get up at 5am. Not sure if I will have the stamina, but I am not sure I will after work tomorrow either, so it may be my only chance.

the chat last night was great...it was such good motivation...i havent worked out in a couple weeks, but did 2 videos today...so i look forward to next chat
 
Yep - 4 miles on the tm but I did 3 min walk - 3 min - run for the whole way - that's pretty good for this "oldster" ! I need to do something to get past this plateau I am at !!

Today is my WI day and yes it was 155 one more time! Okay, I know that is not a gain but geeeeeesh I really really really want to see it go down - inches maybe I am losing inches (just in case Kath, reads this thread) ;)


Melc and other WW's do you think I should drop my pts to 20 for a few days and see if that helps and yes - Ohmom - I have been eating all my points - if anything I am not drinking enough H20 but I am trying to do that too.

well, i am back on track!! i am OP with eating and my workouts!! Bootcamp monday and running last night...bootcamp again tonight! tomorrow is WI and i REALLY hope i aven't gained!! i'm feeling a bit bloated still, but we'll see! final WI for the weight loss contest (at schoo) is April 2nd...so i have no time to gain or plateau:mad: hope i keep going in the right direction!!

AEG; awesome that you ran and walked!!! that should jolt your metabolism!!!! and 155 is awesome, i'm sure those inches are dissappearing!! i'm worried about the same thing, now that i'm running and working out more

Melc: glad you posted...its good to hear from you!

Ohmom: i look forward to seeing you this weekend....i think?? you are coming to the fasion show?? it should be fun...but definitely a social eatting bump!!!

ok -- made it through my first social eating bump -- dinner was cancelled. Our plans totally get switched around and DH was supposed to take DDs to Mcds -- he had late v-ball game. So I ran them through burger king and McDs drive thru and didn't get anything myself! whew! wasn't too tempting until I reached the food pickup at McDs and the smells, but it was too late to order anyhow. Came home and had a 5 pt wrap (homemade) but I did go to trader joes yesterday and bought cappucino meringue -- not good. used ALL my hard earned spinning APs on those yesterday. duh! i really just can't buy them. i'm such a sweet tooth.

did make it through the afternoon with ONE 4 pt snack -- 1 cup grapes and 3 pts of meringues. too bad I more later!

no wonder i'm maintaining on my WI this week!

next social eating bump -- tonight -- my Mom's group is serving one of the lent dinners -- grilled cheese and tomato soup. good thing I don't like either very well, I think i'm taking my 4 pt bowl of butternut squash soup from TJ instead.

yes Nikki -- Taylor and I are both coming to the fashion show! we are both looking foward to it!! i just haven't gotten to that bump in my planning yet!

i need to go -- i want to address you all and will later -- for now to Melanie, just focus on getting through each day. Your eating will come back, my prayers with you........................
 
Hey guys,
I did Super Cardio Mix today. It's one of my new older FIRM tapes and it was 63 minutes of pure cardio and a couple minutes of abs. I did well keeping up with the steps till the end because I was getting tired. I didn't wake up early this morning. I just couldn't do it. I have to tomorrow though because DD12 has a concert tomorrow night. Won't have time after work.

Today was my first day back to work and I didn't want to be there. I was very busy though, so it did go by fast.

Everyone is doing such a great job. Keep up the great work.
 
Good morning everyone.

Today was a REAL struggle to get out of bed to exercise. I just didn't want to, but I did it! My daughter's concert is tonight, she plays the Oboe. I knew if I didn't do it, I wasn't going to be able to exercise tonight. Now that it's done, I am so glad I did. I just love how I feel afterwards. Today I did Body Sculpt.

well, i made it to bootcamp last night...slightly less energetic than planned...i had an accident with a linoleum blade in art class, stabbed the tip of my finger, and had to go to the clinic for a tetanus shot! YUCK!!!! i'm not a big fan of shots!!!!! needless to say, was a bit late to aerobics class and didn't come up with any new things to do, but i still managed to make myself sore! so at least i got a workout in.

I'm OP for the week so far. today will be my first day of no exercise due to meetings tonight, but i kind of welcome that. i have ran or done bootcamp for the last 6 days. i need a break!!! :crazy:

on a fun note: my weekly weigh in today, i'm down 2 more pounds to 145...which was my original goal!!! at this point i am going to try to loose a few more until the WL contest is over, then maintaining comes YEA!!!!

I'm sorry I haven't been posting. Life just got in the way of everything. I've stayed OP, but I just can't seem to get back into the everyday exercise routine. I'm going to walk today while the little ones are at school.

BTW, I wanted to share my new clippie with everyone. Even though I'm not exercising very much, I seem to be losing.

gotta run DD to dance -- made it through my bump last night -- longer story but didn't eat dinner at church. Today is normal day.

I did eat an illegal snack yesterday:eek: :earseek: :eek: I though I had enough pts then this morning realized I never entered in my breakfast. oh i was bummed big time

doing well today though -- more details tomorrow :wave2:

I'm definately getting me some of the Kashi blueberry waffles - they must really work (okay so you helped some too with bootcamp 6 days in a row) I would be tired too! You deserve a break

Okay I will also say (while I'm here) I did 3 miles of 3 min walk and 3 min run this AM and then finished with some stretching - so I am good for the day!
 
I was going to get up at 5am today, but I couldnt do it! I decided that I will make today my rest day and get back into my normal schedule.

Well DH comes home tomorrow! Yippee I am so excited!

I didn't eat well today. I had a boston cream donut today, but I planned on eating that. Then the girls at work talked me into bringing home some donut holes and sticky buns. I told them I didn't want them, but I figured I could be strong. I had a busy day at work and was starving when I came home. I broke down and had 2 sticky buns and 3 donut holes. What is wrong with me!! UGGH!

Good thing is, I can handle it. It's only one day, one hour and I am stronger than those sweets. I can overcome this. Back to counting points and I plan on figureing out the points tonight and moving on! In the past this would have blown my diet. But since this is a way of life, I can deal with life and eating things.

Tammy- Hope your having fun at WDW. As if it's possible to NOT have fun.

Bev- Great job with your exercise today

Ohmom- Isn't it good that we don't let having something we shouldn't ruin our momentum!

tw1nsmom- Congratulations on the new clippie- Way to go!

Evenasmom- Way to go on making GOAL!! Woo hoo! I agree that you just snuck that in there! Keep up the great work!
 
I did FIRM Cardio this morning. It is not cardio at all, but rather sculpt/cardio with very little cardio. I loved this one though. It's one of my new ones.

DH comes home today, so we are going to be going out for a family day out (shopping/movies and dinner). He should be here soon. I can't wait.

My day off was Sat so today I just completed 8 miles tmilling. That is enough for one day :p

Dinner out tonight at a Japanese Steak house - should be able to eat OP - well at least that is my plan!
 
I did FIRM Strength today. We had a family Birthday party for DD today and I did good not eating any cake or anything not within my points. I was also done eating by 5pm today.
