Well, I weighed myself just now and I am at least thankful that I didn't gain, but I didn't go down any either. I seem to be really stuck and I think I really need to get my body moving, plus drink more water. I think I will try a video tape instead of the treadmill and see if that helps get me motivated. I have seen a lot of threads on the video, so I am willing to try. Good luck everyone and have a great week.

ok, today is the day. i'm really re-starting again after a 4 week hiatus! i ate my fill of chocolate this weekend for sure :)

anyhow I can't weigh-in today. we are snowed in so I'll have to go to the Y tomorrow. but - i will be shoveling for an hour or so - hope that counts as exercise for the day. last time I shoveled I could definately feel my heart pounding!

i'm off to a good start and will just take it day by day. My goal date of May 31 seems a long way away - so I will focus on getting through the week and facing the weekend !

thinking thinner ;)

Well,

I DID lose 2.5 lbs, but, only after I had GAINED 4. So still a net gain of 1.5. I'm not really as upset as I was after the initial gain, because I just feel better since I've been taking care of myself. I am going to be back to my desired clothes size by September. We are going on the MAGIC, and I have the coolest dress to wear for 70's night! I need to be trimmed up by then or I'll look like some kind of bug, too fat to fly!:p :p :p There's that Disney
diet again!

Congrats to all you LOSERS!!!

Keep the Faith!

Well, I lost all 4 of the pounds I gained last week, plus one more so I'm at the 10 pound mark. Very happy with myself.

Keep on trying guys...we can do it!

Ok, I think I am going to shoot my scale...yesterday it said I had gained 6 pounds today it says 2 pounds...either way, I have been so faithful to my diet. I have to start doing some exercise, but I have no will power for it whatsoever. Someone please give a push. I really want to loose 20 before June 1st, but it seems to me, that the goal just might be out of reach :(

Not very encouraged right now :(

One week in, and one pound gone. But that's okay.

Glo - you are such an inspiration to those of us just starting out, I wanted to say YOU CAN DO IT! I didn't get to meet you at Glo-Con a couple years back but I'm hoping to meet you soon. Thanks for inspiring me to change my life! WE CAN DO IT!!!

Today was my offical weigh in day and I lost 7.5 pounds!!!!! I am so excited!!!! I started exercising yesterday and I feel great!!! Im looking forward to this week.

Glo how about the Leslie Sansone Walking series of videos. No complicated moves, its over pretty quickly and you get a good workout.

WTG Ivs_eeyore!!! That is awsome!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I can't wait to report progress like that!

Glo,
It's ok. I know how you feel about THAT SCALE! I have one just like it. That was one of the things I loved about my gym: the scale always told the truth, good or bad. Mine is bi-polar! I can get on it at night and wake up 7lbs lighter! I know it's just messin' with me. We have a standing joke in my house. When one of us hits the scale when she's MANIC, we invite the whole family up to feel good about themselves!:p :p :p

As far as working out goes, I'm not even going to attempt it today. I'm really under the weather. Go ahead, try to get me off the sofa! I am drinking my water, and staying away from the kitchen, which is hard to do, since I live in one of those colonials that require you to pass through the kitchen to get to any other room! I wish we could sit unmotivated together! I will be up and around tomorrow though! And I won't feel guilty about today. Heck, I may just have wine with dinner tonight. Listen to me. Of course I'll have wine with dinner!:p

If you can't get up, cheer up! It is good for your heart and you. Health is about more than what a PSYCHO SCALE tells you about yourself!

Come on GLO, give us a smile!:p

Keep the Faith!
Tracy

5.5 lbs. down as of yesterday...(won't count the +1 lb that those #$@%^!! old scales said this morning! )

So, I'm feeling blue, and skipping lunch today...

You know, we've got these WONDERFUL tag fairies floating around, so where are the lose-weight-easily fairies hiding??? ;)

Haven't weighed in since Feb 1. I am actually below my plateau point by 3/4 lb.

124.5/118.25/116...would love 114 for cushion

-3.5 lbs on sundays weight in! I'm on my way to onderland. I started at 234.5 and i'm now -13.5 at 221!

I have been steadily losing 1 pound a week for a few weeks, after a stall of about 5 weeks (but a WDW trip and Christmas was in there... I did not lose but did not gain)

Just one more pound and a mini-goal will have been met. But I have been bad the last few days... chocolate is a downfall of mine.

So I keep on.... one pound at a time, and hopefully the end of this week I can do this :bounce: and announce my mini-goal met.

Debbie

Congratulations to everyone who lost weight last week.

For those of us on a plateau or having fluid fluctuations, hang in there. It will pass and the weight will drop eventually.

I'm really, really, really trying to believe that.

I don't weigh until Thursday. I'm hoping at least for another 1/2 pound loss so that I can at least claim to have lost 1 whole pound as a member of the WISH challenge ;)

Katholyn

I was at a 12 lb loss on Friday but I gained a pound this weekend (really thought I would have gained more). I'm back on track now and chasing that 15 Pound Clipart. :)

Have a great week everyone and glo, you can do this!!

I only lost 1/2 pound this week, but I've already lost some inches in only 3 weeks of exercise.

Wow, you guys are awesome!! Congratulations to all for all the hard work you have put into taking this challenge. You all (losers and gainers) inspire me.

I am happy to report my first 5 pound loss. (5.1 actually ;)) I am thrilled.

Keep up the great work everyone.....WE CAN DO IT!!!!

:bounce::wave::bounce:

I had my "official" WW WI last night and I lost 6.6 pounds!!! WW was cancelled last week due to the weather, so that is a two week loss, but I was so excited!!! I just started WISH, so that doesn't count for a clippie, but at that rate I should have one soon!!!

We leave for Disney in 66 days (YEAH!!), which means I need to lose about 2.1 pounds a week to reach my goal. I'm sure I can do it with all the awesome support I've found here and at WW.

Thanks So Much and Good Luck to All!!!

Amy

I finally reached the 10 pound weight loss mark !!! Last week I lost one pound.

I know there are some people who have a hard time exercising. I know all the excuses because I have used them too- no time, not feeling well, don't have the energy, don't want to spend the money, etc... I had not been to a gym in at least 12 years. I was intimidated by all the equipment and the "fit" people there. I made a commitment to myself 6 weeks ago that I would give it a try. I now workout 6 days a week for a minimum of 60 minutes of cardio each session. I have more energy, better skin, less fat and some muscles I never knew I had ;). If I can do it, ANYONE CAN.

Have a healthy week.

I've lost 3 lbs. as of this morning. Its just the beginning of a long weight loss journey. Good luck and be healthy everyone!
