And here is the honest feedback!
Lazy me thought, yeah, Pilates, no problem! Not true!!! This is a VERY tough workout. It took me two weeks of doing the demo video to 'get' the moves down right and be able to make it all the way through the video without DYING!!! Proved to me how bad I needed it though!
Now that I am into the regular video it has gotten easier and I've even moved out of the 'modified' position on most of the moves that were harder for me.
Yes, it works. If you do it 3 or more times a week. The results with Pilates have been faster than any other system I've tried and you do feel it, faster, stronger and you feel taller. It's very weird!
I really like it. We do Pilates 3 days a week and walk/cardio stuff two days a week. It's really helped the inches off! I consistently lose .5-2 inches off various areas of my body each week.
Do yourself a favor and measure your thighs and upper arms when you start and use that as a gauge to see if Pilates is working. those are my biggest differences.
I highly recommend it, but remember, it won't be easy and you MUST stick with it even when it hurts! and yes, you can curse Mari Winsor while you're doing it, we do!
