I need a little help.
Does anyone have directions from the airport to Winn Dixie and then to Old Key West? We have family arriving after we are there and I know how to get there but need to tell them. Thanks

To Winn-Dixie from airport:
- follow signs for 417 toward WDW (south/west)
- make right onto 535
- follow past I-4 overpass & WDW purple gate on left/Goodings on right.
- Winn Dixie is approx 2 lights past the WDW gate on right side

From Winn-Dixie to OKW:
- make left out of WD parking lot
- go approx 2 lights to WDW purple gate & make a right (you are now on Hotel Plaza Blvd.)
- follow past DTD marketplace, PI & West Side
- make right onto Bonnet Creek Pkwy (lighthouse on right)
- make right onto DVC Way
- make right into OKW

Once you are through the gates the purple signs are everywhere so just follow along.

Another way back to OKW that avoids most DD traffic:

From Winn-Dixie to OKW:
- make left out of WD parking lot
- go approx 2 lights to WDW purple gate & make a right (you are now on Hotel Plaza Blvd.)
- go to right at DD Marketplace and follow signs to SSR, but keep going past SSR entrance gate and past Treehouse Villas
- go left into OKW

You can also apply at the Winn-Dixie itself. We are at SSR right now, and I applied for a card the night we got here, and saved $9.00! It is very close to SSR-onl 2.5 miles on my GPS!!

We have a Winn Dixie card and have used it for years.
My problem was I know how to get there from the airport and OKW but when I went online to get directions from their website it seemed too confusing for our family arriving late. Some info says Winn Dixie at the Crossings, other info says Winn Dixie on Orange Blossom Trail. I was sure I would confuse them.
There will be 16 of us at the end of August and I am trying to give everyone the information they need should they wish to shop on their way to OKW. We have a GV, 2bdr and 3 studios. Can't wait.

This is actually the way we go but thought for newbies it might be better to stay on the main road.

Also, be advised, if you give them these directions, after making the right onto Buena Vista Drive (corner of Marketplace & Grosvenor hotel) you will go past the side gate for SSR & the Fire House before needing to make a left onto DVC Way. You will then proceed past the main SSR gate & Treehouses before making a left into OKW.
