Our first ts meal was Biergarten. I was looking forward to this because I enjoy german food and I could pull out my rusty high school german to annoy the cast members. We were soo tired after our first full day in the world so after a day of enjoying future world, we were off, like a herd of turtles to Germany for dinner. Dh & I had only been to disneyworld 1 other time, the year before so pulling up the map of world showcase in my photographic brain I knew that the fast route to Germany was to the right and it should be just after England or maybe France..............................Most of you probably notice my mistake. So we went the long way and the kids were complaining almost the whole way there. When we finally got there we got in line and waited behind several groups without ADR's ...............then we got up to the podium to be helped by a rather handsome German young man named........Guido..???? After about a 5 minute wait we were ushered in. I love the ambiance of this place but unfortunatley we were all too tired to fully appreciate it. I totally forgot about taking pictures or getting opinions from the kids but dh did take one of his first plate. He loves his sausage! The food was all pretty good and even my picky ones found something they liked. I'd like to try this one again when were feeling a little better!
I really, really want to eat there, but I just don't think my kids would find something they like. Oh, well. Maybe when it's just me and my grandfather next February...
Herd of turtles was something my mom always said when we'd leave on vacation. So now whenever I'm pulling my mom-mobile out of the driveway to head off, that's what I say. Of course, it's also changed to a terd of hurtles at times too!
