Wine Bars?

Are there any wine bars in WDW? I'm aware of the wine tasting spots in Epcot, but am looking for a nice sit-down lounge with a load of wines by the glass.

Alternatively, a bar area in one of restaurants with a great wine list (but not packed with people waiting to be seated) would be good or even a wine bar outside the resort or on 'hotel row'

Hmm, in WDW? Not that I'm aware of. Not even at the France pavilion (though I have done the "Drink around the World" on all wine and all beer). Outside of Disney, there must be, and though I'm a local, I know of none (I'm 4 years sober, so I don't spend much time looking for places like that...hehe). But I can sure check around some...

jiko's has a wonderful wine list & nice grown up atmosphere. The Wave has some interesting flights.

I think there is a place in the Yatch Club resort called the Vineyard. I'm not sure if it's still there.

Jiko is great. Bluezoo also has some nice wines.

Thanks for the responses.

I hadn't expected finding any in the parks, but thought there might be a wine bar in one of the resorts.

Years ago I did a mini tasting in france but it was more of a "here taste this kind".. not a sit down type you'd do at a vinyard.

Would *love* a wine bar in WDW though...

California Grill has an extensive wine list, many of which are available by the glass. However, the place is always packed with people hoping to see the fireworks. if you went later in the evening, it might not be so bad.

SamRoc - Hey, see you've spent some time at the Fort .... so have we.

Anyway we love Celebration and so I checked out the link to the wine place that you provided. What is the dress code and general atmosphere of the place? We don't do dress up, especially on vacation - would we feel out of place in shirt/shorts/sneakers?

SamRoc beat me to it...Imperium is perfect. Great appetizers (cheese plate ;) ) and the wine selection is great. My gf and I spent 6 months in celebration while doing internships for the mouse...we visited imperium quite often. Jeans and a t-shirt are just fine. The last time we were there was Jan 2nd, so i cant speak for their current wine specials, but overall, highly recommended.

I think you are talking about Martha's Vineyard Lounge at the Beach Club. It is still around and would be a good fit.

Below is the Fodor's link and a copy of their description:

Fodor's Review:
This is a cozy, refined hideaway where you can sit back and sip domestic and European wines. Each evening 18 wines are poured for tasting. After facing the maddening crowd, it's worth a detour if you're looking for a quiet retreat and a soothing glass of zinfandel.

Open: Daily 5:30 PM-10 PM
