Will WDW Take MY ADRS?

I know you can make adr at least 180 days in advance. Is this for people who have resort ressies?

See, we are going in October and want to stay at AKV but DVC does not take ressies until May 16. So, I'm wondering if they will still make my ADRS?

What do you guys think I should do?

Anyone can make ADRs at 180 days out. DVC has nothing to do with your ADRs.
