Will this work for our arrival day?

We will be staying at AKL. Thinking of using the Minnie Van service to go to the Polynesian to have dinner at Kona Cafe. Then I've heard that you can see the MK fireworks from the beach there? Can we go on the beach to see them if we aren't guests of the Polynesian? Can't decide between that and going to Disney Springs. What are your thoughts?

What time do you get in? What day of the week? We do different things depending on those two factors. Personally, I would make a reservation at Boma or Sanaa and enjoy the resort.

Thanks for your reply! It will be on a Thursday. Not sure exactly what time we'll be arriving since we are driving and it will depend on traffic. Hoping around 4:00? We already have reservations for Boma and Sanaa later in our stay along with a full day to enjoy the resort.

Go to my maps Sticky under “Magic Kingdom” and scroll down to Fireworks outside the park maps
and look at where to stand on the Poly beach.

Yes, that's plenty of time to eat and get to the beach for the fireworks.

If you have a car, why not just drive to the Poly?

I like your plan. WE tend to go very easy on arrival day, so we plan a resort meal somewhere and just absorb Disney.
