I have not read about anyone doing this? Do you think it would work to go to Epcot on an EMH morning and work my way around to the International Gateway in time to have a late breakfast seating at the Cape May Buffet? If Epcot opens at 8:00 am, and there was a 10:15 or 10:30 seating at CMB? Or do you think I would just end up rushing across the park instead of enjoying it? We would return to Epcot after breakfast for the rest of the day.

I'm not sure about this because I have never tried, but don't they block you from going into WS prior to 11am? Maybe they let you go to Inernational Gateway though. This would be good to know. I know you can get in through International gateway before 11am, but they have it sectioned off and make you go to Future World.

You could do this, but I would do a later breakfast -- like around 11:10 or 11:20. This would pretty much be your "brunch".
Depending on what you want to do at Epcot, 3 hours should be enough time. You may not hit all the attractions, unless is isn't very crowded. I would be strategic and grab a Fast Pass right away for either Mission Space or Fast Track and then go through Living Seas or Universe of Energy while you wait for your time. If there is a 15 minute or less wait on any of the rides (Soarin', Mission, Fast Track) go for it.

Once you finish your brunch, you'll be able to do World Showcase for the rest of the day.

We just returned and stayed at the Beach Club. The proximity to Epcot is fantastic.

Thank you very much for your advice. Is Cape May Buffet open for breakfast as late as 11:00? I would like to eat then but assumed that the breakfast seating would be over.

Yes -- I believe all the Character Breakfasts go until around 11:30.

Get to Epcot first thing and grab Fast Passes for something like Soarin or Test Track and get on the stand by line for the other. We have gone to the early morning at Epcot in the past using the Intenational Gateway. We rode what we wanted and headed out to another park. You can easily get to the Beach Club and then return later to Epcot. Once you exit the International Gateway the Beach club is only about 5 minutes away. Stay to your right on the path.

Just an fyi for you...

If you only have a couple hours of playtime at Future World before you have to make it over to brunch then I'd suggest NOT doing Universe of Energy. That ride alone is a 45 minute chunk of time. That wouldn't leave you much time to see the rest of Future World. JMO.

I think it all depends on you and your family -- Definitely do Living Seas and the "Crush" show. I missed it, but my DH said it was the funniest thing he has seen in a long time. If it is hot, the indoor "rides" ie. Living Seas and Universe of Energy are a nice respite from the heat.

If you are prone to motion sickness, stay away from Mission Space. Test Track is awesome.

If you plan your time well by using Fast Passes, you can see alot in 3 hours.

Once you leave Future World, walk toward Canada (to the right) and you can get to Beach Club in 15 minutes. Tip -- once you leave the exit gates, keep toward your left by the water. This takes you on a flat path rather than going up the hill. Great when you are pushing a stroller!

Have a great time!
