will the online check in room request cancel out request with MS?

I called a while back to make my room request with MS and it was noted on my reservation, but now that I am going to do online check it it says there are no room requests associated with my reservation (I do know that there are, I called MS to confirm).

Does anyone know if I select a request on the online reservation will it cancel out my former more detailed request via MS?

I want to check in online, but I don't know what to do. Should I leave it blank or select a request?

I agree with Michael. If MS has noted your request leave the online section on requests blank.
