I think after Nov 1 it all goes away.
I am inclined to agree with DCLMP on this one (Although there might be some SLIGHT wiggle room on that exact date.
I think this whole thing can be separate into short term (now thru Nov) and long term (after Nov)
In the short term, some cruise lines will try and require vaccines (either outside of FL, or willing to be fined in FL and try to deal with that fine later). Experiences on cruise ships will either be back to "normal" for those vaccine required ones, and not so normal (masks, social distancing, etc) on the cruises where vaccines are not required. Some cruise lines may even try to have different experiences onboard for those who are willing to show proof of vaccine (show your card, get a colored wristband, get to walk around with no mask, or dine in a special restaurant, etc). For what it's worth, I don't really see
DCL doing this special experience thing. Too hard to police, but until they tell us, who knows.
Once we hit Nov 1, things change, partially because the CSO is set to expire but also because at that point the vaccine may be open to more ages, especially young kids. At that point, if anyone who wants a vaccine can get one, then it is much more about personal choice. Too afraid to cruise without a vaccine? Get one. Once you are protected, doesn't really matter who else on the ship is or is not vaccinated. That is their choice.
My only reason for saying there may be wiggle room is that Nov 1 date might push out slightly if the vaccine isnt' available yet to young kids. I can see them extending the CSO, but maybe by a month or 2 at the most. My hope is that by Nov 1, everyone can get a vaccine if they want it, the CSO expires, and life goes back to normal.
