My husband and I have recently discovered the archived history of the Adventurers Club on YouTube through numerous videos. Unfortunately, it was over before our Disney World days were underway. Will any of the lounges or bars on property make this beverage if you ask for it? Just wondered if anyone had ever tried.

Side note - For MNSSHP I'm going as Pamelia Perkins and my husband as Albert Falls. We are pretty excited. :yay:

Happy Monday! :yo-yo:

Last September they did have it at Dockside margaritas. Not sure if it's there anymore. I was pretty underwhelmed and wish I had a different drink.

Thank you! That old recipe looks so good. I just need some Midori

In short any bar in the world (note lower case) will make you any drink as long as you can provide the recipe and they have the ingredients. Of course you have to keep this in reason based on the amount traffic that the bar is getting at the time.

For example there is bar and grill that I am regular at. I normally drink white wine but on vacation I like to drink margaritta's. Anyway, several year's ago, I saw a recipe for a paloma (this was before they got popular in the last couple of years).

So on a Sunday before they got busy, I showed up and worked with one of the bartenders for her to make the drink. I would have never done that during a Friday evening crush.

BTW: It turned out great.

mmmmm...a Paloma with mezcal. I love mezcal, tastes like smoke and bacon in a glass. There are a few places here in Chicago that make outstanding mezcal cocktails, savory, not sweet. If anyone can make you a cocktail that includes mezcal and thyme- jump on that.

Truth! I often order a God Father, I've lost count how many places don't know it. I can tell them but most places do have an online resource they can look up too.

As someone who spent more than my fair share of time at the AC I'm truly sorry you didn't get to experience it in person. The videos can't come close to actually being there. IMHO it was the perfect blend of theme, atmosphere, animatronics, live action, Disney magic, oh yeah and booze. It's probably been 25 years since I drank a Kungaloosh I remember it being pretty good, but what made it really special was where I was at....

I might have to try these in my new Margaritaville Machine, this weekend

Kungaloosh!!!! Thank you so much for the recipe. I did not have cranberry juice in hand so I added a tiny splash of mixed berry juice. I don't think it needed it, though. My DH is enjoying his mid afternoon cocktail, as am I! His is not in a stemmed glass though! LOL!
Thanks again!

ETA: I made this cocktail one more time and tinkered a bit for my own taste. I skipped the mixed berry juice, (blech) bumped the minority a tad, and reduced teh vodka a smidge. Perfection!

My next venture will be the Welsh Dragon.

Asked Nomad Lounge if they could make the Kungaloosh cocktail, they say SURE CAN, and brought me out the Kungaloosh beer.... :rolleyes2
