We've waited what feels like forever for the boat!If you are in a hurry to get to Magic Kingdom, the buses arrive more frequently than the boat and the ride is shorter.
Wilderness Lodge does share a bus with the Contemporary coming back from Disney Springs.Wilderness Lodge doesn't share a bus with Fort Wilderness. There is a bus that goes to the Fort and back, but they don't share when it comes to the theme parks or Disney Springs. I would also recommend taking the bus to MK vs. the boat like others on here have said. They come way more frequently and is around a 5-7 minute ride.
I drove to AK when I stayed at Wilderness Lodge in September so I'm not sure about that park in particular but for Epcot and HS expect the ride to be about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
I didn't know that, so that's good to know. My group drove to DS so I wasn't aware. I was just answering OP's question as to whether Wilderness Lodge and the Fort share busses.Wilderness Lodge does share a bus with the Contemporary coming back from Disney Springs.
I only know that because we stay at the Contemp/BLT a lot, so we always have to make the stop coming back from Springs.I didn't know that, so that's good to know. M
Do you have any idea if there were direct busses from WL to Typhoon Lagoon? I believe I've read that we would need to ride to Disney Springs and transfer there. We just got back from WL a few days ago during Easter week. Bus stop #1 is for Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness. We went to the Fort a lot this trip and there were 2 times where the Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness bus were combined and it was during non-peak hours (late morning and afternoon). All of the other times the Fort bus and the Magic Kingdom bus from WL were separate.
We also had a bus from WL to Disney Springs that was shared with the Contemporary as well- this was during peak hours (just before 10am when DS opens) and the bus was 90% full of WL passengers before we even got to the Contemporary.
There weren't direct busses to Typhoon Lagoon, they required a transfer from Disney Springs.Do you have any idea if there were direct busses from WL to Typhoon Lagoon? I believe I've read that we would need to ride to Disney Springs and transfer there.
