Howdy everyone,
well its about bedtime here for me. This cold really knocks me out by evening.

Wally, it was great to meet you too, thanks to all the Dreamboats for entertaining us ladies at karoake. Hope you can do it again sometime!!

Take care all, I will check back tomarrow,

kathy

Kathy,

I hope you feel better soon. It was such a delite to meet you and chat. Your son is very sweet as well.

Hello friends,

Finally feeling better - worked half a day and then had the charity bearbuilding tonight - 50something bears we built - in an hour.

Still no word on my map. Guess i'd better just forget about it.

SORRY so many of you were sick - I thought with all the hand washing, we'd avoid it and amazed that it didn't show up until the last day - it would almost seem like it had to be picked up in St. Thomas rather than on the ship. . . The Asthma attack feels like a blessing by comparison.

Bob, I'm almost done deleting and you shall have the cd before Christmas. Can't WAIT to see the finished result :-) Everybody's photos are coming out great. I'm going to upload mine to snapfish and will share the album with anyone who sends email addy.

Still haven't done anything about Christmas - but tomorrow is another day.

Sleep well, friends.

Totally unrelated to the cruise...HOWEVER...I do have a cute story to relay.

Patrick had Dress Rehearsal for Nutcracker last nite, and on our way to the theatre we saw a sign outside of a flower shop that read "If your name is Patrick, come in for a free rose". Mom, of course, U-Turned so he could get his rose (wondering who he would give it to {please let it be me, please let it be me}) :teeth:

As soon as we got to the theatre he sidled up to the prima ballerina playing Clara, rose hidden behind his back, and presented it to her. She just about burst into tears. He has such a crush on her, and tries to find any excuse to be near her. I thought he was going to punch out the "nutcracker" as they were rehearsing.

End of cute story. Move along, nothing to see here. :confused3

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! How sweet! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just wanted to drop a quick note to say how nice it was to meet as many of you as we could on the trip.

I'm happy to report that all FourFoxes stayed healthy but we did see a lot of sickies on that last night and Saturday morning. Hope everyone is back to normal.

We also rebooked onboard, but on the Wonder for 11/29/07. A few years ago, we had taken a trip to Universal and WDW and I threw my back out and spent 3 days in the hotel room and medical clinic. Never used the 5 day Universal tix so we're going to do our own land and sea version next year. Who knows...maybe you'll see us in 2008.

We also went to Magic Kingdom on Saturday and I've never seen it that crowded. We arrived around 11:30 and Regis and Kelly were there filming the Christmas parade. Apparently, several actors from the High School Musical had been there earlier in the day and it was a madhouse. We did utilize Fastpass and the Unofficial Touring Guide Plans so we had a 45 minute wait for Buzz Lightyear and then things went according to plan. An exhausting day - the kids fell asleep on the curb waiting for the Spectromagic parade.

Thanks again to those whose little extra touches made our trip extra magical!

Jamie -- so sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you in person.  I think I may have seen you at the meet but didn't get a chance to say "hi." :wave2:

Glad to hear your family stayed healthy! I was the only one with issues -- my first ever bout with seasickness on Sat. nite, and I must've eaten something that didn't agree with me on Sunday -- but thankfully I didn't have any of the symptoms that the others had.

Hope you have an awesome cruise next November! :thumbsup2

Good Morning, Everyone!

Today, I really MUST do some work! Did come in yesterday but only did the 300 emails and then went home for a two hour nap.

Last night was our bearbuilding for charity. Our group made 60 bears at the Build-a-bear-workshop for the City Mission. They serve over 600 families in this area - there's a lot of poverty here, like in most big 'has been' cities where the industrial base has eroded.

Now Bruce has the cold too, and he's home today. I did notice the Christmas tree parts on the floor of the cellar last night, so it must be coming up stairs soon. I just can't get excited about it. We're just getting the chaos of unpacking under control. The list of things that must be done just grows and grows.

What are some of your holiday traditions?
One thing we've done since I was a child is bake Swedish tea rings. Typically, my mom would bake two - one for us and one for a friend - never the same friend two years in a row - to have on Christmas morning. I make more. If we lived closer - YOU'd be on my list this year!

Happy Day, All!

Good morning everyone,
Linda, sorry to hear Bruce now has this cold, it seems to want to hang on forever!!!! That was a lot of bears you guys did, I'm sure it will make many kids very happy!!!!
I dont know if you call it a tradition but each year we try to find a family who has kids and could use some help at the holidays then we do what we can to see that they and their family have a Merry Christmas, but until now I have never told anyone. We really enjoy doing this.
A few years back we had been on the receiving end of other peoples help for our kids, so we love returning the favor.

Hi Lauri, it was fun talking to you around the ship!!

Pjfour,
after 33 years of marriage and 4 kids I have plenty of experience!!!! :rotfl2:

Hi Everyone ... I'm in Albuquerque. Getting here last night was the trip from H-E-double-hockey-sticks. My flight from Phoenix was 2 hours late due to mechanical problems, then got here around 10:30 Alb time (12:30 Akron time), waited about 45 minutes for our luggage to be delivered ... finally at the hotel and passed out by 1:30 a.m. my time. And all that after getting up at 4:55 a.m. Ohio time! Long, crabby day for the Woo (Cheri can attest to that based on the phone call I got last night from her after I found out I was stuck in the Phoenix airport for a total of 4 hours!). Gotta run ... TTYL.

I miss my wife....but hoo-boy, I don't wanna get hit by that front coming from the southwest. I'll wait til its downgraded to a tropical storm. (I'm probably gonna pay for that folks, so laugh it up!!) :lmao:

Enjoy, everyone.... and wish me an event-free commute, the snow is piling up out there. (actually ODOT did a great job clearing the roads around here).

Sonny, if you can hear me, mon....come an git me!!!!

Woo?, Woo?!? SHELL?? SHELL!! Can you hear me???

Have a great trip. Trip? What the heck do you do anyway?

P.S. Doug is an attorney. I guess this was tricky because he's so NOT attorney-like.

Afternoon all:

I didnt post yesterday, I was very sick.....I normally am lucky and dont catch this garbage, however, I just have a very bad head cold. I left work early yesterday went home and straight to bed. Got up around 430pm then went back to bed around 8:30 and slept till this morning. I however do feel better but still have this nasty cough.

Wally wanted to pass his message on to Shell: but was unable to print the picture because of his low post count. So Shell the message from dreamboat was directed at you and all the other "dreamboat" girls. :teeth:

Well have to go...am at work and I have soooo much catching up to do.

Talk with ya all this evening....

Denise

Bob: I will have my son get a DVD ready and get it over to you.

Thanks Denise!

Hey Everyone! Just in case you want to relive that Island Feeling again, go out to Sonny List Tours and just "listen" to the home page. It is that wonderful "Love You Every Day of the Week" to which we were treated for 20 minutes! But hey, it does bring a smile to my face!

On a Thursday, Friday, Saturday...I love you baby, every day of the week...

An attorney??? DOUG??? Get out!!! Like, he plays one on TV? :lmao:

Hey everyone, when I first started posting here I mentioned that my dog had just been diagnosed with cancer. She was only supposed to be around another 6 weeks or so. But she hung around and did great for several months. We left her with the vet while on the cruise. I picked her up on Monday and was told that her tumor was enlarged. It had been infected several times and they hoped with more antibiotics it was shrink again. Unfortunately, by Tuesday afternoon she was unable to eat or lay down. She just got worse from there and so Tuesday night we took her to the emergency clinic and had them end her pain. I am working hard to get through this but am heartbroken. She was my baby for 11 years and will always have place in my heart. I am so glad that she stayed with us in time for us to get back so I could hold her.

My son has passed the cold he picked up on the ship to me. My head hurts. I need another vacation already. April 2008 won't get here fast enough.

Carrie,
so sorry to hear about your loss. I love my pets like people, so I too have hard time when one passes on. It is good you loved him enough to let him go without suffering any longer. :grouphug: a hug for you!!!

I have the head cold too, now greg has got it too.
Guess that is better than the flu virus many got!!

Going to get cool again in Florida tonight.
I was going to go outside and look for the shuttle launch tonight, but it may be too cold for me , since I am already ill.

Tomarrow is Friday, :woohoo: then everyone can rest up on the weekend.

Kathy

Good Evening    ,
Well today was the burial of my grandmother. It was sad but I know she is at peace now. After we went out to lunch which was nice because we don't see my Uncle and Aunt that often so it was nice to spend time with them. This whole week was soooo long!!! We have been running since we got off the plane on Saturday night. Drew was great for my in-laws    for the last two days !!!! Well what are everybody's plans this weekend. Andrew needs to do Christmas shopping and I need to get two Gift Cards that I forgot. We are also going to take Drew to see Santa for the 1st time. Guess what we might get tonight!!
