You don't want to know what I'm doing this weekend - it's none of it fun, I can promise - between working like crazy then being gone two weeks and sick most of this one I'm so far behind I may never catch up. Made a priority list of what I HAVE to do to enjoy Christmas and the rest is just gonna fall right off the other end. But, before I can have fun there's bathrooms to clean, groceries to buy, laundry on top of laundry (and there's only two of US - the bears don't get much dirty) amd snow tires for BruceE to put on.

We dodged the bullet with this latest storm, but I don't mind snow before Christmas - it gets me in the mood - it's afterward when it becomes tedius and grey that I hate it.

Also need to learn how to post a photo on this site - I have a REALLY typical one of Drew, and also a nice one (no double chin showing) B. took on the last morning of Celine, Anika and I.

Finally have the photos sorted and up to snapfish, if anyone besides Bob wants to see them. Bob, will also burn a cd or dvd - I have about 500 photos, just from the cruise after dumping the junk. Can't WAIT to start scrapping!

Denise and Wally, we probably won't get to go til 2008 either, but it's for a good cause. If we save really hard, we might can retire in 2008! Whoopee! Hurray!

Hi everyone...this is my first chance to get on the board since we got home Sunday. I lost our digital camera and the 200+ shots I took-I have no still photos to remember our trip by-thank goodness my DH didn't lose the video camera!

GI BUG: Yep, I got it-Saturday night-I think Sarah described the illness the best!

Jan:: Thanks so much for taking the time to talk to me while we were waiting to rebook our cruise-we met with and joined DVC club-financed differently-but not as good as you did with the 0%-but better than DVC offered Congrats on your 10/21/07 cruise.

Linda: Sorry about your map...hopefully some magic will happen and it will reappear.

Denise: Sorry to hear about your dad's fall-my mom fell 4 times while we were on the cruise-spoke to her via cell phone when we were at St. Thomas and found out that she cracked her ribs on one of her falls

Carrie: Sorry about your dog-our little Min Pin-Lucy is 10 years old and I can't imagine our family without her.

Lynn: Sorry to hear about your grandmom from our family to yours. I didn't have the courage to come up and say hi when I saw you but I just wanted to say-WOW-what a cutie pie you have in your son!

Shell & Bill: Thanks for the great door sign-although someone stole our sign on Thursday-we were soooooo mad

Shell: I admire you for all the plane flying you do-I can only do it twice a year-once leaving my house to Fla. and once to return home gonna try the pork chop recipe-glad you clarified about the stuffing or I too would have just poured the dry mix in the crock

Howdy everyone, well its been a week since we returned to our "old" routine.
Anybody ready to go back and get pampered and waited on again???

I have been sitting here thinking about needing to clean the bathrooms, mop floors, vacuum all the rooms, mow the grass, do the doggie pooper scooper job.
I think I need a vacation again!!!

No plans this weekend, just relaxing( accept housework) and trying yo get over our colds. I want to get the tree up this weekend, but that is all I have planned.

Good morning Banana Heads

Honestly, this feels like my first day totally to myself in a long time! Got back yesterday afternoon ... to 16 degrees! Now, I have to get in full Xmas gear today and tomorrow ... decorations, Xmas cards, START buying gifts (ugh! Perhaps I should hire Lynn ). I'd like to get about 75% of everything done this weekend. Well, that's a goal at least ...

I tried to keep up/catch up, so if I miss anyone, sorry!

CARRIE: I am so sorry for your loss. Like Bill said, the bad stuff eventually goes away and you're left with the good memories. We can finally talk about our Sammy without crying, and it's been 14 months. By the way, Bill pointed you out to me once on the ship, but we were hurrying off somewhere so I didn't get a chance to stop and introduce myself. Hopefully next time!

DENISE: DBWally won't go for 2007?? Don't worry, girlfriend ... I'll work on him!

CHERI and WENDY: How did you like the recipe?

JEFF: Seeing as how we're the closest to Pittsburgh, I guess we'll have to represent the Nana Heads at the party Also, the article I told you about on customer relations is not out yet, but I'll send it to you as soon as it is.

CHERI: Tell Bill we got the photos. Do you know if the one with Jessalyn, Bill & I came out (doing the totem pole)? Didn't see that one. That Patricio ... what a clown! Gotta love him, even if he DOES forget to take drink orders ...

OKIE: The travel for work is OK sometimes (especially when it's cold and snowing here and I'm on my way to Phoenix or San Antonio!), but this one was horrendous due to just coming back from DCL, so I was exhausted to begin with, as you can imagine. On Monday, I got my yearly review and was informed that next year I will be doing a lot more travel. That's OK I guess, but then I remembered that those frequent flier miles add up to free flights to Orlando for more cruises!!!

LINDA: Send me the link for your Snapfish album. I'd love to see your pics. That goes for everyone else, too!

TONYA: Hi sweetie! MISS YOU!

LOVE to have the recipes for some of that YUMMY food we heard about all trip - for example - we'll start with that pork chop recipe, and seque into Lynn's Chicken Parm . . . surely there's a dreamboat recipe from Wally? Fairygodmother project - During this cruise, many of us joined together to Fairy Godmother a little girl who lost her father to pneumonia October 1 due to his weakend condition from a long bout with Melanoma. Melanoma is a killer, folks! Now, we have an opportunity to join again to fight this ugly disease.

My young friend, Owen Farcy, is running in the Walt Disney World Half Marathon in January to raise funds for Melanoma. Owen finished 3rd in his age group in the WDW in 2001 and 3rd in his age group at last years inaugural Disneyland half Marathon, so he certainly will finish this race too.

Me too, sometimes I feel like the odd man out as well...I wasn't too social on the cruise, it was tough w/ little Madison and her schedule. But we did have fun meeting the few people we did! I'm so sorry about your camera! I hope someone is able to track you down and send it back to you! I have some shots of the cruise and the island w/out us in it, do you want me to send you some photos? Let me know if it'll help!

I'm excited about DVC, CONGRATS on your joining! We couldn't resist the 'deal'!

Well want a busy morning we had. Well we meet with the contractor to build a house and we are going to do it!!! I am very excited !! Then it was off to my 2nd home the Mall to get afew giftcards that I forgot then Babies R Us for diapers, Wipes and Formula and then home. Tonight just going to realx. Andrew has to wrap my Christmas gifts and we were going to watch The Break Up. Well talk to you later!! Going to start dinner !!

So, this new house you're building -- is it huge with a large wide "hallway" down the center and rooms lining both sides of the hall, each room labeled with a large sign overhead? Perhaps an indoor play area and a fountain?? Will the yard have sets of parallel lines set on a diagonal to resemble a parking lot?? Just thought your new home may resemble your "second" home!!!

BTW Sarah -- what ended up happening with that whole situation?? Hope you got your money back. . .
