Has anybody seen this parody of the Wii Fit? It is pretty funny:
Seriously, we are still debating whether to get one or not.
Does anyone regularly workout and find this challenging?
I exercise 5 times a week and wonder if it would be great for the days when I just don't want to drag myself out of bed before 5am.
I do enjoy Wii sports boxing on occasion for a nice cardio boost.
Thanks.
How much space do you really need in order to play most of the Wii Fit games? We have our TV in a somewhat narrow room - TV on one side, couch on the other, with only about 5 feet of space between them where we could do any Wii-ing. Plenty of space for regular Wii games, but I'm concerned about being down on the ground for the yoga and pushups, etc. Can you do them facing sideways or must it face the TV directly?

I work out at the gym 5-6 days a week and I love the Wii Fit. Today, I did a 1 hour workout on the Wii Fit(combination of some yoga, strength training, aerobics and balance) and then went to the gym for an additional hour. It was great to be able to add to my workout without having to live in the gym. Also, the aerobic exercises(especially hula hoop and running) really get your heart rate up. Also,as you unlock more of the strength training exercises it gets more challenging. The push up/plank combination is a killer. I definitely recommend getting one to add to your workout routine.
Target had three and the mats. Walmart had a case full. At least these are easier to get than the Wii consoles.
Can this be used on carpet or does it have to be on a solid floor (wood, tile, etc)?
