Why we won't use the Radisson anymore

I know Shirley would take the shirt off her back if someone needed it more than she, and she wouldn't think twice about doing it either. [/color] [/B]

Nick and Cindy - you crack me up - want a position on the ship as a comedy team?!!!!

BD - that's definitely a "Jersey Pitch" - how do I know? Remember I'm a native New Yorker!!!!

I think it has something to do with pre-cruise anticipation, at least that's what I'm blaming it on.

Thanks for the 'bump' Peter.

If the word on renovations is true, they should be installing the new carpet... And, I wonder if the staff gave all the rooms a major cleaning?

We will be staying there before our cruise next month... So, if anybody is staying there recently... let us know how it was! :D

Hope you guys have the "rocking-est time" ever! (That's before you go on the ship - I will pray for calm seas, blue skies and great memories!)

Remember Fidelio ROCKS!

When we stayed at the Radisson at the Port in January 2003, our king suite was okay, nothing special and not overly celan. However, our stay in June 2003 in a king suite was disgusting. The room was filthy. There was pubic hair all over the bathroom floor as well as a dead cockroach. My feet turned black on the bottom after walking around the room barefoot for about an hour! The sheets were dirty. There were stains on the carpets and sofas, dirty glasses left as clean. One of the lamps didn't have a lampshade and the place was in bad need of paint. Now I realize that I got a great deal of $119 per night, but the rooms should at least be clean.
I also received a coupon for a free night at any Radisson and I'm using it to stay at the Radisson Resort at the parkway in Orlando the night prior to our cruise rather than at Port Canaveral. Until they get their act together and clean up the place, I certainly won't be back.

I was worried about staying at the radisson again after readin these posts, but our stay there Aug 1 was fine. We had a carribean room and a 2 king bed suite and both were very clean, with no problems at all. The pool was fun for my 7 yr old and we had the breakfast buffett befor heading over to the ship. I guess whoever is the housekeeper makes a big difference. we've had rooms at Disney that were disgusting!!!! but that is always the exception. We will go back and I hope anyone else staying there has an experience similar to ours not like some of the awful stays mentioned here. Good luck. Beth

Did your 2 bed King suite have two "beds", or a bed and a king sofa bed? Last April our king "bed" was fine, but the king sofa bed was a nightmare!
