Why no promotional emails from DCL?

i would love to get promotional emails from DCL but never do. Is this something DCL doesn't do or do I have to sign up somewhere for it. I get promotional emails from rccl and carnival at least a couple times a week. Rccl only one cruise carnival 0. On DCL 17. The only emails I get from DCL is when I book a cruise or payment time etc but never promotional emails.

I'm not sure if I've ever received a promo email from DCL. I assume it's because they don't run promos like most of the other lines.

Because they know you don't need it, if I'm reading correctly the other lines are trying to get business from a frequent cruiser who uses DCL exclusively.

I think you don't get them because, currently, DCL doesn't need to use them.

I've gotten occasional emails from DCL, maybe 1 or 2 per year. While "promotional" in nature, they are not actual special offers. DCL doesn't offer that stuff.

Right - they may send emails announcing stuff like SWDAS or "Final sailings from Galveston!", but I can't remember the last time I saw an email offering any kind of deal like "Kids Sail Free". Seems like whenever they do offer a small deal like Florida Resident or Military Rates, they are always on the "down-low".

It seems like it will benefit DCL and the people who want to cruise DCL if they will send out the emails. They have a great deal out on the June 17th 12 night Iceland and Norway cruise. If they will send it out they could probably fill it up quick.

The only time we got any promotional emails from DCL was when we first cruised and signed up for Castaway Club -- in 2000. Haven't gotten any emails from them in 10+ years -- and haven't gotten any fliers in the mail since at least 2010!
