Hello everyone. I just wanted to make a comparison that's been made many times, although I feel it's necessary to bring it up again.
Yesterday I went to Six Flags New England. Although I do love some of the rides there (especially Bizarro
) it just doesn't get the same vibe as Disney. Let me go further into that.
1. Although they make an attempt at theming, Six Flags has no where near the level of theming of a Disney Park, especially since they play outside music in their parks, and not "theme specific" music.
2. WHY CAN THEY NOT BUILD A STRUCTURE OVER ALL OF THE LINES
! having to wait 45 min for a roller coaster is one thing, but can't they please build a cover over the whole line? Well, Disney can.
3. The whole Disney-Fastpass thing. Going there makes me realize why Fastpass should stay the way it is. At Six Flags, you have to pay $35 to get the exact same privelages (spelling?) that I get at Disney for free.
4. Dining at Disney> Dining at Six Flags. Enough said.
That's four reasons of why I love Disney so much, and why I want to keep going back over and over again. Also, before I end this, I would like to say that I'm not trying to slam Six Flags here. Having a Six Flags within a two hour drive is nice, as I'm able to go on theme park rides (with roller coasters that are better than Disney's) and not travel halfway across the country.

One year in college I even had a season pass (it *was* Six Flags by then, I'm not THAT old). I love that place. But I definitely agree, every single time I visited, I felt slightly heat stroke-ish by the end of the day. There's no shade and as far as I can recall minimal air conditioning. The only way I ever could get cool was riding Superman (or whatever they re-named it now) because at one point you get spritzed with water!

) and I have long since moved away.
