Why do you think they chose Costa Maya instead of Grand Cayman for the 2 scoops cruises? Except for that change, the itinerary is the same as the Thanksgiving cruises that do Grand Cayman and 2x CC. Just curious.

Maybe they chose that to do something different. I think alot of people are getting tired of the same ports and want something different. Hopefully since the West Coast cruises are going over well (at least I assume they are) they will build the third boat and add a whole new itinerary.

It could also have something to do with the fees charged to dock there. I know that on my last cruise the captain told us that St Thomas was BY FAR the most expensive port that DCL goes to to dock. Maybe Costa Maya is cheaper than Grand Caymen????
