Who's Up trying to call about free ticket upgrades?

I just called this a.m. and booked with a check-in of the 21st - the last day of the discount - but I got a 10 day ticket with the free upgrade for all 10 days. My reservation is for May 21-25 - I didn't have to make 2 reservations and was told I could use the ticket with free PH/WP for all 10 days. Also the price is correct - room, dining, 10 day PH/WP with no charge for the PH/WP so I think they will let you get the upgrade free for whatever length base ticket you purchase as long as your check-in is on or before the 21st. At least I hope that's right or I'm in trouble because I just changed our AAA pkg.

Sorry about that..I guess they are saying if you check in by the 21st you could be elligible for the discount. I thought they did away with that when they restructered how they did their rates this year, but I guess I was wrong. Sorry for this misinformation.

My advice would be to just call and check. Just call saying it is a new reservation and see if it's available. If yes, you can make the switch and have them update your reservation..if no..no harm done.

If you use this code do you still get the AAA discount?

You can't have more than one discount. If you want the AAA discount, you can't use the code.

Oh no! What a let-down. We are at WL, so I guess I shouldn't be expecting anything when the TA calls back. That sucks.

I would call and check. When I called this morning there was availability at WL, just not in a standard room for our days. There was availability at WL in Woods View though..but not worth the additional money for us, just to get the ticket upgrade.

Staying at POR Apr 1-6, CM stated that if I used the code for ticket upgrade I would have to give up my 40% discount code for my room. Was she correct?

Yes she was correct You can only receive one discount. I gave up my AAA discount and got the free ticket upgrade. :: Woo Hoo. Only saved me additional 80.00 but I also got the free water park passes.

i was just on hold for about 34 mins, "merlin" didn't know about the code, does anybody else think they make up their names? anyway i was to apply it here are my details, pop april 5-12 2adult 2 kids 3 & 7 before stantard room, dining, and 7 day ph $2527 and after same but with free park hoppers and water parks etc $2336. we are all happy saved some money for the outlets

I just tried to get the upgraded tickets for Pop, and was told at first we couldn't do it at a value resort. I nicely stated that the web said it did, and then she went to check and came back and told me that we didn't quailfy for it because we only had two adults and two infants. She said we had to have Two adults and a junior in order to get the upgrade. Is this right? Or should I try another CM? I didn't see any restrictions like that on the web, so I was wondering if anyone else was able to get the upgrade with only two adults.

I dunno if someone already answered your question, but I was able to apply the upgrade to my parents ressie and it's just the 2 of them, no kids. I would call back and get another cm. Good luck!!!

Thankfully, they let me buy 10 day tickets with the free upgrade even though I'm only there the last day of the code period. I know the restructuring of the rates this year has affected most discounts - I tried to get an AP rate yesterday (AP discount code ends May 21st) with a check-in of the 21st and I couldn't use it for any days beyond the 21st. I don't like the restructuring - in the past we started our vacation in a less expensive season and were able to have that rate the entire stay - now of course this year, our rate went up the day the higher season started - really makes a difference in the cost between that and the weekend days being even higher.

We weren't able to take advantage of the discount because we are only staying two nights, but we are only 2 adults and we were offered about a $200 discount if we could have only stayed a third night. I'd call back.

We weren't able to use the code. We are staying at WL and if we wanted to use the code we had to upgrade from woods view to courtyard view. Plus add $300, just not worth it for us. Oh well.

I was on hold only for about 20 minutes this morning and was able to add the Free PH & WP!! I was so excited to get something....but... since check in is on April 5, our "45 day" period was up...we had already paid in full, so we had to pay a $50 fee due to the change, but were credited around 96 dollars. We are staying at the POP for the first time. My friend tried to get anything for the mods the week of April 21 and nothing for the moderates was availiable with the code. I am just glad to get something.....now if we can get a bouceback we will be in business!

PS- I had to call twice. 1st time the system was down, and 2nd time it went thru. Both calls only had wait times of about 3 minutes. I was completely shocked! Usually when I call it takes forever to get thru. (And I called around 2pm EST.)

We were able to use the code and it saved us $192. At first the CM at Disney Travel didn't think it would work since we are staying on Club Level at the BWI but it came back accepted and we were able to use it. Works for me!!

I called 2-21-08 to use APH. I was put on hold for 5-8min while they contacted guest services and then they told me there were none left for WL for Apr 15-21. I could use it for Saratoga Springs for a studio but the DW really wants to go to WL. They said they relese a select number of these codes out and the disney cardholders get first dibs before they are usuaable by non-card holders. So, It looks like I'm outta luck for additional savings with this code.

My understanding is that you pay for the base entry ticket, but the free upgrade adds the park hopper and water park options on free.

You may want to ouble check on that. I booked my reservation 4 months ago & I id receive the ticket upgrade. It saved me 300.00 more frommy AAA rate. Good luck.
