Duh - forgot to post where we're staying. Right now it looks like BCV, although the night of the 9th we have a ressie at SSR because BCV was booked up. I'm on a waitlist for BCV for that night too. So just consider it BCV.

We'll be at the World from Oct 22-29 at Beach Club Villa's Going with a couple of other families in our "Family". There will be about 18 of us all together. Going to the Tuesday the 25th MNSSHP. First time for our family of four. We usually go during early Dec. for the MVMCP so the MNSSHP will be a first for us!

DS(nearly 3 at the time) will be either Buzz or Woody - just depends on who he fancies at the time. I will also be bringing his Pumpkin torch and pumpkin shaped goody bag as a surprise so that he feels part of the action.

I'm going October 28 and I'm so excited. I can't wait. I don't have a hotel or flight but I have my party tickets. This was a surprise trip we weren't supposed to go back for another 2 years. I have never been to the Halloween party so I've been checking the board for advice. It sounds like a lot of fun. I just hope my boys will survive they are 2 and 5. It will be a late night.

Last time we were At WDW I decorated for halloween. I used plastic pumpkins and other things in the room. I used a tigger and piglets stuffed hanging with our names on it for the door. And in the window we hung strings of lights and used a small strobe light.
It was fun to hear the others comment on our room. They called it the 'spooky room'. Most of the time they did'nt realize it was our room when they spoke of it. They used it as a guide to find their own rooms.
Although my family thought I was crazy, they loved it. So we will be doing it again. We invite everyone to decorate. If you plan to please let me know.
So this year when you see the 'spooky room' at the BWV Oct 29- Nov 3 you will know that it is being haunted by this Harris family.

That is a GREAT idea! I will steal it, if you don't mind- we will be at Pop Oct 29- Nov 4, and I will be bringing lights and a few "jack-o-lanterns" for the window. Thanks for the cool way to make Halloween at WDW even more magical!

Last time we were At WDW I decorated for halloween.

I brought paper Jack o Lanterns that were flat but unfolded when we got there and window clings. My kids seemed to really enjoy them.

A dis poster alerted me to the fact American Airlines messed with my vacation! arrrrrggg!!

It's all my fault, I was feeling so "smug" so happy, then, Murphy (of Murphy's Law of course!) struck, it went south...... Due to American Airlines switching me to a later outbound flight, and of course an early coming home flight... I lose about 8 hours of the Disney.... magic

I had this all planned!! Stay all night at the Ohare Hotel, board the 7AM flight, ($150 RT) get to WDW, and smack, nope, no go...

I've written AA of my displeasure, I included the Southwest flights I "woulda coulda, shoulda booked for the same (or lower DING fare) times, but NO I foolishly thought I could "trust" AA!! all I want is my flights back!! The nerve!! (oh, and they said they could very well add those flights back, but it would be up to me to "FIND them" and then up to me to CALL THEM to get back on MY ORIGINAL FLIGHTS!

I checked my flights after reading your post and they did the same to us!!! And of course they changed our seat assignments too.
