I'm not a NASCAR followerer anymore but there was a time I was. Grew up on it It was hard when I heard about Alan Kulwicki(sp?). Would have loved to see how far he would have gone.

Not much into actor, musician BUT as for NASCAR, IMO -- Alan and Davie and Tim.

Andy Gibb-I think he still holds a record for having his first three singles go to #1. He seemed to have conquered his drug addiction and was working on a comeback album.

Another vote for Karen Carpenter and Freddie Mercury. They both had such wonderful voices, and it was a shame to have them silenced so soon.

As far as actor or actress, Robin Williams is the first one who comes to mind. I know he had dementia and we may not have had his brilliance on the screen much longer, but I think he still had a lot to offer. One of my favorite movies is What Dreams May Come, and it’s totally due to his performance. I like to think that perhaps he is living in that afterlife, where you create your own reality just the way you want it. I bet his would be spectacular.
