NOOOOO! I didn't realize that the giftcards.com 10% off would be pulled when some amount of sales occurred! I did make a purchase on Tuesday, but not nearly what I intended to do (trying to get my credit cards and other promos situated for best overall discount).

Is there any history of them repeating this type of promo during the holiday/end-of-year season? So mad at myself!

Exactly, don’t give up on this week yet! It’s entirely possible they may repeat the offer.

Back from my local Best Buy store where I successfully purchased 2 of the $500 variable load cards. Prior to having them rung up, I asked the cashier to check to see if they rung up for $450. She was a sweet young girl and looked at me and said 'that would be nice'! When they rung up, she said how did you know? I told her word on the street. Then I said I want to do a second one, as I started with one. She had to run ask someone who looked over at me, and okayed it but said 'just the 2 cards.'

I didn't give any info, other than a credit card and there are 19 Best Buys within 30 minutes of me. So, a limit is sort of pointless.

As it is, I just needed enough for a friend's ticket in January as I know that last minute like on the way to Disney she will ask about getting a ticket. She will pay me what I use for the ticket. I get the credit card rewards and she'll get the 10% off. If she surprises me and gets her own ticket I'll be fine with that. But, we've traveled together every couple of years and this is the usual routine.

They pull those suckers quick. The last one lasted surprisingly long actually.

According to the website, yes, however, in-store they couldn't generate a payment QR code (for the PayPal app to scan) or scan the PayPal QR code to make payment.

Last night after waiting for over 24 hours since my last Best Buy Disney $50 gift card purchase, I was able to order 1 more digital card and 1 pick up in store one. The shipping notice came quickly but the digital one did not come until this morning
I just got back from the Nashua, NH Best Buy and picked up the 1 I ordered online last night. I checked the in-store display and they had loads of $50 ones and even more of the multi amount ones! Whoops! I forgot that I had to finish up the AMEX purchase to get my $25 credit so I bought 2 more DGCs from Best Buy. They allowed me to purchase 2 eDGCs. Fingers crossed they won't claw one back.

I bought 6 $50 cards for $270 on my AMEX card. I'm getting a $25 credit, so it's really $245 to me. That's an 18% savings!

Finished paying off my DVC dues and purchased my 2026 Membership Magic Beyond. After the first of the year, I'll use it to buy my One Time Use Points.

Just wanted to pop in here even though I normally dont to give a heads up. I have bought almost 20K in DGC over the last year. Rare to have issues. Just ran tinto my 1st issue in a long time. All my digital BB gift cards were fine. The one I had shipped to my house arrived today and it is inactive. After dealing with BB incompetence for the last hour, they are finally "requesting" a refund for me. So it's still not fully resolved. I will add BB to the list of never buy physical online from (my other is Walmart)

So check your physical mailed BB GC right away. Dont waste time with chat online, when calling in immediately ask for a supervisor.

When I talked with that group they said error when trying to activate. I asked for refund. Was told requested. Just got an email a new card was shipped.

Just to follow up with this. They shipped the card from the store rather than Fedex this time. It arrived today and there were no issues with it.
I can say BB was much easier to deal with than Walmart was when I had the same issue. But it still took me about an hour of chat/calls to get fixed.
