Who's calling to book the member cruises?

Finally in and am on hold. Progress! Thanks all for answering my question.:thumbsup2

Yea! Now just relax your redial finger and enjoy the Disney music. I waited 50 minutes on hold, but at least I knew I was in the queue. Talked to a CM, and am now on hold awaiting confirmation. I think I got what I wanted, but can't be sure until he confirms it.

Just a question (since I forgot to ask). What is the cancellation policy?

Also, I saw that DVC is not offering insurance, so I guess we'll be heading to ***************** for this one...

Since it departs from a non-US port, it's 120 days in advance for a full refund. 120 days in advance is my birthday, so my DH says cancelling would be a terrible birthday present!

And no DVC insurance if you're entirely cash, like we are. So yes, I'll be shopping elsewhere for insurance, too. Unfortunately, I don't want to pay the premium until after the cancellation deadline, but then pre-existing conditions probably won't be covered. :(

Done! Got exactly what I wanted, 2 connected cat 9's on the Alaska cruise. I dialed for exactly 2 hours, held for 50 minutes, talked to Dave for about 17 minutes, then waited on hold for 15 minutes while he confirmed it. I didn't transfer to anyone else, just gave him my credit card number.

Good luck to everyone else, and thanks so much for everyone's advice. I'm going to take a shower, after all this stress! Oh, and I should feed my kids. :)

Yay!! We are booked! Cabin 2510 on the Bahamas cruise! :cool1: :yay::yay::dance3:

2.5 hours of busy signals then 55 minutes for the call (hold time and talking to the CM). The customer service was magical and the CM seemed really excited for me.

She did ask if I wanted travel insurance, which I thought they weren't offering since I had paid cash. I didn't want it so I just said no.

It looks like there is already a cruise meet thread

Pixie dust for all those still waiting for a booking!

on Member website :)

Cat 10,7 and 6 sold out for Bahamas.

Cat. 7 and 6 sold out for Alaska

We are booked but just for giggles I dialed the MS number and it went right through...no busy signal at all. That is highly unusual so I am hoping everyone gets what they want!! Pixie dust to all...

Woohoo!!!! Got our reservation 4 hours after I first dialed 1-800-********. :cool1: Got the room we wanted, and we are all set. Thanks to all who helped me. pixiedust:

Called in to MS at 11:30 am, rang twice and got immediately through to the queue, then 15 min on hold, then all booked by 12:10 pm! Cat 5A, Deck 7, starboard, forward. See you all on the Wonder in May! :cool1:

How are you doing, bobbiwoz? You've been so helpful and positive to the rest of us, I'm hoping you get what you want!

:cheer2: pixiedust:

Thank you! Yes, I did get what we wanted for the 4 night cruise! We are traveling, I was running out of power!

Am I correct, based on the member website, that the four-day cruise has not yet sold out? It says category 9s are still available.
