Well I finally booked it ..our first disney trip... going late sept to oct.. as its our first visit there is alot to take in ... any views tips for our first trip would be gratefully appreciated . I have my daughter who will be having her 8th birthday while we are there.. and grandparents too staying at carribbean beach resort on the quick dining plan ..

As a first time visitor, I would suggest doing some research on what you really want to see and plan around those attractions. You don't mention how long you are staying, but unless its 10+ days it would be difficult to see everything without rushing around like crazy. I brought my daughter for her 9th birthday. We bought MNSSHP tickets and brought a pirate outfit with us. Early in the day we did the Pirate Makeover so she would be ready for the party. You could do BBB instead if your daughter were more princess vs. pirate. It was a lot of fun.

If you want to PM me, I can try to provide some suggestions based on what your family enjoys. It's hard to do without knowing how long you are staying, transportation and what is important to you and your family. Either way, have fun with it. The planning can be just as exciting as the trip.
