Who used the dining plan for Candlelight Pro. last Dec?

I believe all of the restaurants on the dining plan are 1 TS credit. We did the CP package at Le Cellier last year and had a great time. (And, I know it was 1 TS credit.) We went to dinner around 5 p.m. or so, and then, went to a later show.

I made an ADR at Le Cellier when the 180-day window first opened, just in case. Then, when the CP packages became available, I called back and made a new reservation for the CP before canceling the old ADR I'd made previously. We really wanted to eat at Le Cellier and didn't want to take a chance on getting shut out.

All my worrying about missing out was for nothing. I had no problem changing my reservation. The food was wonderful -- the best we had the entire trip (love the mussels and the mushroom steak!) -- and the Candlelight Processional, followed by Illuminations, was the perfect way to close out the evening.

Thank you again!!! WE are also looking at Le Cellier! That is a great idea about making the ADR at the 180 days then switching. How far out can you usually make the package reservation? WE leave November 30th!!!YAAAA!!! This is our 1st time doing christmas at Disney...so everyones advice is greatly appreciated!!!:goodvibes

I could be wrong, but I think the Candlelight Processional packages went "on sale" sometime in August, last year.

Well, there ya go! Just to be sure, I checked on allearsnet.com, and they said packages were available for booking on August 16. Here's a link:

Edited to add: Last year there were two prices per tier for those paying cash -- a lower price for a lunch seating, a slightly higher price for dinner. Those who used the dining plan, though, were charged just 1 TS credit, regardless of whether they chose lunch or dinner.

Like I said...thanks so much. All your advice is great!!!! I really appreciate it!
Let the count down begin!!!!!!!
Thanks

As someone posted above, the CP packages don't go on sale until August. We are anxiously awaiting their release also.

And from what I'd read about last year's packages, they were all 1 TS credit, regardless of tier. I hope that still holds true for this year.
