~!Who knew you could relax in Disney?~Mother/Daughter Tr~5/2 May Trip Plans Days 5-8

When we last left off we were headed back to our room!!! We were so excited to see where we would be placed! So we headed back and in our excitment we didn't take any pics of the walk back Once we got to the lobby area of Boardwalk we started reading signs to find out where our room was well we were on the first floor....start walking to the left.....okay now walk around a little alcove...hey there is the clown pool maybe we are near it!....Nope keep walking....keep walking... hey that last door on the left is ours! We were seriously the last room on the left side of the building! Our room was gorgeous though!

I loved the dresser because it had hidden Mickeys on it

The only pic I am missing is of the vanity It was nice because under the sink area they had drawers which came in handy and they didnt have any drawers under the vanity at BCV. I loved the room! Now what was even better was our view!

From our little deck area we could see the quiet pool!

It was nice being that close to the quiet pool! Also the main pool was just a few steps away! So I got on my bathing suit and headed over to the pool and checked out community hall. We loved this community hall! We had a great time playing ping pong and air hockey! So after our break and my first ride on the Keister coaster which was awesome! We got ready to head out to dinner at.....OHANA! We had gone back and forth with this but it is my mom's favorite TS so we had to go!


Once we got to the Poly and checked in we had a bit of a wait so of course my dad had to head over to the bar and get one of these....

One of his favorite drinks the back scratcher!!! This was one a bit strong but he still enjoyed it!

To kill some time I decided to get a little goofy...

We were called shortly after I took the pics and headed to get some good food!!!

It was nice to be back and I was starving so I dug into the first thing I saw...

This bread was so much better than the first time we went there! I didn't even need butter I loved how flavorful it was!

Next came our drinks, the sauces and the salad

So far everything was way better than I remembered it being! I was the one who didn't want this ADR so I was pleasently surprised by how good everything was so far!

These noodles were amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was how I felt after I bit into them!!! They were soo good! Also my other favorite part of the meal....

Omg again!!!! I loved these!!! I could seriously eat those potstickers and the noodles every day!!! Mmmm I am making myself hungry

Then came the meats

Pork and Turkey which were both okay

The steak was really good!

So were these I just wish they weren't peel and eat because after eating these you definitely need these!

So after we had filled up just enough to have room for dessert we heard the ukalale man...Well I decided to get up there! My mom also joined me for hula lessons and her and I hulaing together is one of my favorite trip memories!

After we had burned off some of those calories we headed for dessert! Now this is the dessert my mom tells everyone about!

Mmm the bread pudding! This is soo good!!!!!

After our wonderful meal we talked about what we wanted to do next...go to a park or watch the fireworks from the poly beach then head to a park...choices, choices....

BWV is so nice! You will love it!

We did have an awesome time! It was one of those trips where we just got crazy once in a while

We LOVE 'Ohana!!
We started making it a must-do for breakfast every trip.
But it's slowly working it's way into a must-do for dinner as well!!
And apparently we're not the only one - it was the hardest ADR to secure for our upcoming January trip...

We had to work for MONTHS to get that adr! When we arrived we saw people trying to "walk up" and they were being turned away. HOWEVER, when we were inside we saw a lot of empty tables. I think maybe they are cutting back on staff and then not allowing all the tables to be booked which is why it's so hard to get an adr.

We really loved the look of the room! The colors were nice and cozy! We stayed in the Boardwalk Villas.

Cool. I thought it was since it looked so different from the rooms I've had at the Inn. I really loved the look of the rooms at the Inn, but these look fantastic too.

I loved our location the only bad thing was we would sometimes get lost going back to the room We spent a lot of time in Community Hall and were sad when BCV didn't have one It was very nice being so close to the pool! I was glad I have always wanted to be close to a disney pool

Ohana was so good! The hula lessons were tons of fun!

OH....I forgot to tell you guys......I got BCV booked for 4 nights in May. I am super psyched. My roomie is Cynthia (eandesmom). I can't wait to see your pictures of BCV. I will try really hard to be patient!

while we loved both BWV and BCV, BCV was our favorite!! You will love it and have such a wonderful time!!

I completely enamored with this TR! I'm so thankful for my close relationships with my kiddos too -- it's such a gift!!

My daughter and I have had just one "girls only" trip, going to Disneyland (my daughters FAVORITE place in all the world), over Mother's Day a couple of years ago. We're heading back to Cali, looking at colleges, and perhaps sneaking in a "visit" to DL! I'm thinking we won't be able to be so close to the most magical place without visiting! WOOHOO!! It'll just be a precursor to our Family WDW trip in December!

Gosh... just writing this I am sooooo excited to travel! Anyway, thanks for sharing your TR. We'll be staying at the WL for the entire trip... but I'm wondering if we should break it up? Hmmmmm, such a good decision with which to be grappling!

We loved the room! It was so quaintly decorated and the proximity to the pool was wonderful! We loved having a mini kitchen and we had Garden Grocer delived pop, water and snacks which was great to have in the room

It is a such a blessing to have great relationships with your kids, isn't it?!

A combined college trip and Disneyland trip sounds great! We would really like to get out to DL if only airfare wasn't so expensive!

We've been thinking of trying out WL next year, I hope you enjoy it!
As for the split stay, we loved it! We packed so that we only had to open half the suitcases for each resort and then we were only repacking the clothes we'd worn. It was not a hassle at all and Disney was great about sending the bags over to the other resort!
