Good for you
I'm sure it was difficult to avoid the temptation of bringing it all back in the house for a future garage sale.
Yes, congrats! It would be difficult for me to not bring it back in

Well, my destashing had seriously stalled since we were so busy over the summer. But, I found out that I am expecting baby #5 (SURPRISE!!!). This is giving me all sorts of motivation to destash, especially since I need to clear out the guest room to make a nursery. Problem is, I was just about to destash my basement and get rid of any toys that were too young for my current baby who is now 7. Before I found out I was expecting, it would have been very easy to go down there and pitch, pitch, pitch. Now ,everything I pick up , I think " I better save this for baby" SO this is really a double edged sword for my destashing.![]()
Congrats!! How exciting!
And yes! My fear is I'll *need* something too! Although not the baby stuff

Seriously, my second son moved into a house with my oldest son and two friends. When he moved to the dorm for his freshman year, he obviously had a lot of items still here at home. Well in May when he moved back home, he added everything that we bought for the dorm and what he had accumulated over the school year. Stuff was EVERYWHERE! He was rarely home, but all his belongings were here and made it so hard to get things done. When we would discuss his things, he kept saying he didn't know what I was talking about, he didn't have that much stuff. Then came moving day...we had the truck to move my oldest son's possessions to the new house from his old place, but we brought it here first because my second son said he didn't have very much. I just stayed quiet.
So, off the puter now, and up to the nursery. I'll set the timer for 30 minutes. Then, I'll have an apple and some almonds to give me some energy to continue on for another 15 minutes. That sounds like a good plan for today. Thanks for the motivation!
