I set my alarm for 2. If I'm ready by then, I'll go down at 2:30, but more likely it'll be closer to 2:45.

My family completed the 10k today. DW went with me out of C and my two DD’s and (future) SIL went out of G. We we went super slow and waited just before the choir for the “kids” and I could no believe how congested the end of the race was. They finally came around the corner with the Balloon Ladies within 15 yards, absolutely crazy! They had the Balloon Ladies within two minutes of them from the start of the race and could not stop for any pictures or even the bathroom for fear of getting passed. Was quite stressful for them unfortunately. Good news though, everyone finished.

Tomorrow it will just be the three of us that run regularly, we will be going out of F. Not worried about being swept, but not looking forward to starring and finishing that late in the morning! We are planning to hustle right over to the corral to get as close to the front as possible so we can get moving so likely not going to be at the pre-race meeting up. Wishing everyone a great race!!!

Another thing that I think runDisney struggles with is the Galloway method. I use it myself and love it. But it does make “walk on the right, run on the left” more complicated. I find that I often have to run (more like jog) on the right bc I am trying to stick over there for walk breaks. But also there are people walking all the way across to the left which shouldn’t be happening.

I try to stick close to the middle so I can just take a half step or two in one direction or the other be on the correct side when I change pace (while obviously raising my hand and checking my blind spot before I change lanes)

There are times where I move all the way to one side or the other, but they're rare because I run too fast to comfortably and safely switch to my faster pace on the "slow" side of the road and I walk too slow to even think about slowing down on the "fast" side unless I absolutely have to.

On the bus at Pop. Never seen so many buses - counted 8 lined up. We boarded and pulled away immediately

ETA: the downside of that many buses is now stuck in a bus traffic jam at AoA. Should have rented a car.

I think this is the first time I've experienced mostly empty buses at Beach Club. One rolled up at 3am, and it took us until 3:07 to fill up, now we're on our way!

My friend and I are running out of G today, both wearing Cinderella inspired outfits (I have a too short tutu skirt on with black shorts underneath) if anyone sees us and wants to run together for support!

I’m glad I’m not running today, because parking sent me all the way to the far end of the lot.

Also realized I could have left later even with the road closures. Oh, well - it’s getting me ready for tomorrow.
