7.8 minutes and 3 miles!!! THAT would be so awesome!!!! Its nice to see how many miles to empty tank too I check that one frequently since I have to fill up every other day or so talk about $$$ flying out of the pockets!

Yeah, I have that too, and it tells me how many average MPG I'm getting. Pretty cool! I haven't had to put gas in yet, but I just know I'm going to pull up to the pump on the wrong side since it's on the opposite side from every other car I've ever had. And I'll probably be a mile away from the pump too, so I don't scrape it.

My dad is so jealous, he's been wanting a PT Cruiser ever since I rented one 2 years ago and said how much I liked it and now since I got one, he won't get one. But he keeps reading the manual for mine and looking at things like all the different ways to configure the shelf in the trunk... it's so funny! He's getting my old car out of the shop today or tomorrow and I know he's going to have a fit because I really didn't take very good care of it. I think because it wasn't really "mine" and I never liked it much, I just didn't think about stuff like oil changes and keeping it clean. But as I told Lyzzie, if so much as a crumb gets dropped in my Petie there will be H-E-double-hockey-sticks to pay!!

One of my former coworkers emailed me today about a car for sale... I told him sorry too late! I sent him a picture of Petie (he drives a PT too) and now he's green with envy because his is a lot older. It's nice to talk to people from my old job though, I miss it there especially around this time of year. It was so much fun and this place is so dull.

it'll take awhile to get use to for sure. Sounds like your dad really likes it too and Petie IS yours You'll take much better care of Petie I bet your former coworker liked it too

I have been busy busy busy today... reading a thread about the DISer who was on What Not to Wear! I can't believe I never saw this until today, I'm about halfway through reading it and can't wait to find out how it ends. How cool would that be?

Nicole- I'm so sorry about your job!!! That just sucks....I agree, go to the CP presentation!!! If you get accepted and go to the one starting in January then maybe you can find a job that is hiring just for the holidays in Houston and then you will be all set!!!

I hope this doesn't put a damper on your trip...You've been looking forward to it for long and you deserve it!!

I check the miles to empty all the time and it drives dh crazy! lol I thinks its fun to check plus I obsess about running out of gas. I only work about 1.5 miles from home so its not a big deal!! how much is gas for everyone? I have to use premium and its $3.30 a gallon!

well gotta make dinner!

1.5 miles to work omg I'd love that!!! I drive around 85 miles ONE WAY! I think our premium is $3.20... still ridiculous! Thankfully I only use mid-grade

yeah, it sure did! I asked him if it was better than Animators Palate on DCL I really like Palo too, of coarse. The Melting Pot sure was awesome! Great for something different your dinner sounds great! Mike made ham, mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was so good!!

I called my sister to wish her a Happy B-day. Her b-day was Sat. but I didn't get a chance to talk to her. Left a message and called back today...phone tag you know how that goes well...she was so excited. My neice is in gymnastics and they had a raffle.... she won $1,500! she was so excited! I asked her what she was going to do, go to disney..no. buy a new lens??? She started laughing..that's what my bil wants to do w/it They have a Nikon slr

Good Morning Everyone!

Well, it looks like I will probably be going on medication for my diabetes. My levels had been really good, but now they are starting to creep up. This morning my fasting level was 103 (needs to be under 95) and after breakfast it was 183 (it needs to be under 135).

The doctor told me at my last appointment not to be too worried if my levels did start going up (even if I was eating the same things) because the further along in pregnancy, the more insulin resistant you become.
