I think a 1GB will be fine. You may even be able to get more than 320 pictures on it.

I take a TON of pictures; I keep a camera with me pretty much all the time. I find it addictive.

Oh, I wanted to comment on that tattoo. I have one and thought about it for months before getting it (my mom finally let me get one for my 17th birthday, but it took a LOT of pleading). I knew what I wanted and didn't just go and pick one off the wall. I still love mine and am glad I got it.

My brother has a few. He picked a few off the wall and had them done. He likes them, but they don't really mean a lot to him (he does have one that he designed and loves it).

It didn't hurt that much (getting my tongue pierced was worse). Also, I would ask to see examples of the artists work. They should have a book of actual tattoos to see. You can get an idea of what they are capable of doing. Eat before you go and don't take tylenol until after (it thins the blood). Good luck deciding.

YM LOVE the pix!! That is too cute!!! Are the Nick kids suites at Universal? I've never been to universal... just a die hard disney nut!!

Hooray!!!! You passed. . .You passed. . . ! Oh, please let me switch places with you!!!! I dream of living in Florida (if you can't tell by reading my posts already.) Is Boca expensive? DH says no Florida! Too expensive. --In his best cave man voice. JK :teeth: --

Hi! Well we have found out that FL is not really for us. We like it and are happy but just not as happy as we were in Boston. But as I said we do like it so it isn't a big issue to hang around while I go to school. And yes Boca is expensive but there are so many choices of where to live around here. I would say before you pack your bags and move down rent a place at least for 6 months and see how you like it. It is like a whole different world with its ups and downs just like any other place. And if you really wnat to move here do your homework DH and I found many ways of getting free money to buy a house. Around here everything is for sale. I know in Boca and a few other places if you sign a contract with the city saying you will work for the city for lets say 15 yrs or so you can get up $80,000 towards your house. Now I should have added that these would be for jobs like police, fire, nurse, teacher. Just some food for thought. I'm sure there are deals like this all around the counrty you just have to know where to dig.
I have never heard of that. How did you guys find out about these programs? I wouldn't even know where to begin to dig but if you point me in the right direction I would most definately be interested in looking into it.

I need to check on my grape juice... I have a cup of it in the freezer and I keep stirring it as it freezes so it gets slushy. I discovered this while I was pregnant and craved frozen drinks, it is so yummy! Frozen Sunny Delight is good too, as long as it doesn't freeze solid.
That sounds so yummy!! What a great idea for a low point snack!! Thanks for taking the time to share.

YM- One night I was in bed talking to my mom on the phone, and I kept getting up and down, letting the dog out of the room, letting her BACK in, etc. I really don't remember if I was getting up or sitting back down, but I heard and felt this POP in my knee and I felt my kneecap or something in my knee move to the right. I honestly don't remember what I was doing because it was so much pain, I think I blacked out for a second. I just started screaming for DH to come get me but it took him a second because he was watching the NBA playoffs and blasting the TV  (Thats why I had to go to the bedroom to hear the phone.)

It's been about a month and a half- 2 months since this has happened. Honestly, I probably should have gone to the emergency room, but I don't have medical insurance because DH's job isn't paying their bill, and the insurance company (understandly) canceled the whole company's policy. I was basically laid out for 2 weeks, I could barely walk or anything. A heating pad really helped, but thats about it. Now its bareable, I can walk on it without any problems and put my full weight on it, but I'm nervous about all the walking at WDW. Like I said, when I'm in Target or grocery shopping, etc. my knee starts popping, kind of like its popping out of joint and starts hurting.
I'm really scared about re-injuring it.

WHEW, that was long!!! anyway, I was thinking maybe a brace would work. I don't know what to do! I want to have a nice, pain free trip! And now I'm completely out of walking shape that I was in before this happened!
Oh my word, Ashley!! Definately look into getting a knee brace. I sure hope your DH can find a new job soon. No raises and no health insurance? It's time to get out of there but I'm sure you guys already know that.

Had a little trauma here today. Got a call from Connor's school (I was already in the car) he is in the office with what looks like rope burns on his hands and it happened at recess. Turns out they were burns from touching hot playground equipment (reaching for the plastic part on a "sliding monkeybars"). Took him to the Dr. and they are 2nd degree burns across the palms of his hands! :scared1: Say a prayer that it isn't too painful for him while it heals.

Lyzziesmom-LOVE that picture! :teeth:
Oh my goodness!! Who would have ever thought about the playground equipment being too hot? That's horrible. pixiedust: for your little guy.

Donna, thanks so much for breakfast. An omelette sounds yummy!

I have a lot of reading to catch up on, so I'll be doing that all morning.

I have 99 days left!!!! I can't believe I am down to double digits (especially since I was over 400 when I started the countdown).

Have a great day; I'll be back soon.
 Doin' the double digits dance w/ ya! :woohoo:

Good Morning all you lovely cliqueless chicas!! :cool1:

I feel like myself today......I felt terrible yesterday. I had a headache, my stomach was kinda upset, and I just felt all over blah! I think I may have had some kind of sinus infection, or allergies, or something. But I feel much better today!!

Well, tomorrow should be a busy day. I have to take DS(10) to the doctor at 11:15. He has a very small mole (or big freckle) right between his eyes. He wants to have it removed. It really isn't all that noticable......except to HIM! And it makes him somewhat self-concience about hit. So, we'll have a dermatologist take a look.

Then, later tomorrow afternoon, we have "meet the teacher day". Both boys find out what teacher they have.

Also......I have to brag about DS(10) a little.........I got a letter in the mail yesterday and it had his results from the Oklahoma Core Curriculum Test he took last year. He scored in the "Advanced" level in both mathematics and reading. Woo Hoo........way to go Colton!! I am so proud of him!! :Pinkbounc
Hope you're feeling right as rain real soon, Pozey!
And. . . :woohoo: WOO-HOO Colton!! :woohoo:
Brag away, Pozey!! That's something to be proud of!

I can't believe we close on the house TODAY!! Yay! I'm so excited, I barely slept last night. As you can see from my late-night hootiness. I'm leaving work early to go to the closing and then we are going right over to the house and having a pizza picnic on the floor. We used to do that when I was a kid, when we would move if we got to the new house before the moving van did, we would get some takeout and sit on the floor, or use boxes for tables. It was so much fun!

Emma was talking the other day about going on the airplane, it's amazing how much she remembers from last time. She doesn't speak well, so it's easy to forget how smart she really is. She said, "Airplane! Sky! Fruit snacks! Nuts! Watch Wiggles! (on the portable DVD) Disney! Mickey Mouse! Stickers! (she stuck Mickey stickers all over herself on the way home) Fly! Home!" How cute! I think she understands that we are going again, but with no concept of time, she doesn't know when.

Well I really should get some work done. I was NOT in Monday mode yesterday, and accomplished next to nothing. That's not good.
Yea!!! On the closing!! How exciting!! That is so cute of Emma!! What a doll baby!

Well, believe it or not I started this response yesterday afternoon and am just finishing it up now. I've been running in and out. . . But now hopefully I'm caught up and here's a silly little thought I just hadwhen I post it, I'll get to see my countdown timer! :woohoo:

Actually they are very close to WDW...I can't remember the street. It's a pretty big place...they have dora, spongebob...etc kid suites(holiday inn owned). It's really a place to stay and spend a couple of days just at the hotel. They have activities inside and out. We usually fly, rent a car...drive to Shades of Green and never leave disney property until we head back to the airport(we do use our car a lot on WDW property). We did Magic Kingdom and DTD, Sea World, Cocoa beach and the Nick kid suites...so it was a different trip for us...plus we didn't fly. The driving wasn't that bad but I wouldn't want to do it often.

Hey all!! I quickly scanned the new posts (I hate to get too far behind) but I will have to wait and respond later. My dh is home today and I feel a little flaky sitting at the computer when I've got so much to do (like us all huh? :rotfl: ). Anyway I changed Connor's bandages and took some pictures so you can see what I'm talking about.

Forthelove of disney---Yes let's bug each other about the WW, it's easier when you know someone else who is doing it!
Pozey---Go Colton, how awesome it that you must be soooo proud! :teeth:
Lyzziesmom-Congrats on closing today, I know that is both exciting and stressful!

I'll catch up later, hope you all are having a great day!!

OUCH!! That looks painful.

April... no problem at all! I like Jessica Rabbit too..they have something of her on the outlet tab for $7.99 reg. like $45

YM...that sounds like a blast I'll have to check into that!!

Angela... awww poor Connor! :grouphug: Hope they heal soon!! poor guy! That has to hurt :sad1:

:grouphug: for Conner. That looks so painful!

Linda, I can't believe you got 12 snowglobes for that price!! I am so tempted to buy a couple. I have close to 100 big ones and many, many more small to medium ones. I am running out of room! I am trying to control myself, because I need the money for WDW!!!

Does anyone have info for the newly released discount? Right now it's just for Visa holders, but may be released for general public. I notified my TA about the possible discount, but after her email last week I have no idea what she'll do/say.

I thought it was an incredible price  !!! I'm running out of room too but I'm going to start filling up the office w/it too :rolleyes1 :teeth: wow...you have a ton! You'll have to take pix sometime!! I love those things...esp. Lion King!!! Sorry, not sure of a new discount code. Is it on the wdw site? If I had the code I'd call your ta regardless of her attitude. It is your money! If she don't like it then ask for her boss. That is bs. You are the customer and it's your money. Don't let her treat you poorly! Maybe her boss could give you to someone else if she is rude again! Shopping at WDW is SOOOO dangerous! I always have to bring back a bunch of stuff, esp. the awesome stuff that they have exclusively there! I think I got 3 or 4 snowglobes at dtd in April! I can take pix and show you tonight if you want to see some that they have there now;) remember you save 10% at world of disney at dtd w/disney visa!! I also got a litho there for like $15 or something if you spent $75 :woohoo: good luck!

Ouch...I think Connor needs another hug...that's a tuff place to have burns. Hopefully he will feel up to school tomorrow.

Pozey...glad you are feeling better today...did I miss the 800 post celebration? :yay:  :woohoo: :dance3: :dancer: party: I had my DS at the allergy clinic yesterday...just for a check up...but I think the air/allergies are a big deal around this area. :sad2: We are considering allergy shots for him.

 Hi DznyFan...did you get your DD up early again today?

Ashley your new camera sounds very nice...I like the idea of having a few smaller cards...the downloads would be quicker too. I is amazing how fast the card will fill up.

Amber... :woohoo: that trip is getting closer everyday. :yay:

Nicole...only 43 days? Time to start packing. :

Linda...ok it's time for DS to get home to take your mind off the internet shopping ;) :rotfl: We really don't have much in the way of Disney around the house...DH thinks we spend enough on the trips. We do have some disney clothes, towels, watches....etc...but nothing really collectable.

lyzziesmom...wow you close today...that was a pretty quick deal. congratulations :woohoo:

Well, I got the boys haircuts so we are officially ready for school on Thursday.... except for the laundry. DS told me he needed some underwear this am...I had to steal a pair of his brothers

Thanks for the compliments on the picture...DH had to give me the  when I bought special pj's for the night we satyed in the SpongeBob suite...of course it didn't end there... :rotfl:

Come party with me! party: :rockband:

Linda, I will take pictures some time this week and post them. My collection started with Mike buying me an Alice snowglobe for Christmas. He said that he would get me a new one each year. Well, the next year he took me with him to pick one out. I loved them all and ended up with several. So, now I get one whenever I find one I don't have (which isn't often).

The discount code is on mousesavers and here on the DIS. However, there isn't a breakdown of what the actual discount is. There doesn't seem to be much available though and it's only for Disney visa cardholders. Here's hoping for a general public release for POP and I get it. pixiedust:

Yay, Pozey!! :woohoo: party: :rockband: :dance3:

YM - Yes, I woke her up early again today. Only one more day to sleep in! :surfweb:

Lyzziesmom - party: for your closing! Hope your pizza there is wonderful!

Mommyintn - ouch. that looks awfully painful. pixiedust:

OK, it's time for me to go shopping and see what I can find on disneyshopping.com ;)

Ok I just have to vent here for a minute. It's a work vent, so please bear with me. Or just skip it, I don't care.

I'm sure I've mentioned my arch-nemesis here before. This woman will go out of her way to make sure I look bad. So yesterday she asks me to update this list of our remote employees with new codes. It's a list I made, and she has been keeping. I asked her to send me the latest version, and she sent it to me. I updated, saved it, and sent it back to her this morning. So far so good, right? You'd think so, but no!

Just now she comes and plops a stack of printouts on my desk. "All these people are missing. I told YOU to keep the master list, why aren't these people on it?" Turns out the file she sent me was old, not the latest version at all, and she has made many changes. When I tried to explain that, she said, "I don't care what you did, just fix it." Um, hello? I didn't do anything, SHE sent me the wrong thing, and because she waited until the last minute to do so, her urgency made me not check the dates on it (which I shouldn't have to do anyway because this is HER PROJECT!)

Now keep in mind, this woman is NOT my boss. I do not work for her. We are in parallel positions, but she has NO computer skills whatsoever. Her boss has no idea that I am doing the majority of her work. I just want to strangle her crepey turkey neck!!

Ok, I feel marginally better now. Thanks for listening.

YM... yeah tell me about it!! Now I'm shopping for office furniture which is driving me crazy because I'll find a site w/one I like and then go to 5 other sites and the exact same thing will be $200 or $300 more for the same thing!!! It's unreal!! Plus I'm shopping for Mike for Christmas;) He collects guns...he's got a huge safe full of them...so that will be about $500-$600 for that...I'm just trying to keep myself busy! Doing a good job I guess...but my checkbook sure shows it too!!! Oh well, I don't spend like that very often! Spurts I guess! Mike would have given me the  on the pj's too...but its so darn cute!!!

party: Congrats Pozey! :drinking1

wow... your collection sounds awesome!!! Good luck w/the discounts...we didn't get any for our trip either. I asked him if he wanted to switch and go for free dining but he didn't want to change our wedding date again. First it got changed b/c we forgot we had Tim McGraw/Faith Hill concert tickets and he didn't want to give up the tickets :rotfl: ... oh well! We were going to get married on the cruise but you don't get back until Sat. and the concert was Friday night... oh well! It worked out great anyway!!

Yeah, I hear that a lot. I'm working on being less nice. I'm getting better at it too, just ask 2x2s!!

But seriously, the best words I've ever learned are ...

not.
my.
problem.

It sounds harsh, but it really works. It helped me get away from a verbally abusive relationship, handle passive-agressive inlaws, get rid of so-called "friends" who were just dead weight, and rid myself of so much stress.

:thumbsup2 <--- That's for you, arch-nemesis evil co-worker! And no, it's not a thumb!!
