Some very interesting stuff from everyone...Keep it coming...

I COMPLETELY understand your sentiments of your last statement. Another TMI from me......my dad committed suicide when I was 13. Less than a month after my 13th birthday. But I have never let that affect me. Plus, my mother was a ROCK and raised 4 boys to be decent citizens.

My dad traveled the rodeo circuit with Clark McEntire.....Reba McEntire's dad. So, when I would go with them, Reba would babysit me. Reba came to my HS graduation. But I haven't seen or talked to her since my grandmother's funeral several years back.

See? These are all very cool and interesting things.

 wow...your mom did do a great job. So sorry you lost your dad at such a young age!! That had to be hard! :grouphug: I only saw my dad maybe 10 x's from the age 3-16...but he has paranoid schizophrenia..(sp?)...so I try to be understanding.

that is awesome about Reba!! She use to babysit you and came to your graduation....my mom LOVES Reba  That is too cool!!!

Rodeo...little hard on the body isn't it?

Amber ...that is great you got to add another day!!! Have you already eaten at a lot of the restaurants? We enjoyed Le Cellier and Ohana the best on our trip this year. Ohana was a great view of Wishes :cloud9:

Of all the TS restaurants I chose this time, I have only eaten at 'Ohana and Rainforest Cafe. We are eating at: RFC (lunch), 'Ohana (BK and dinner), Boma, CP (lunch), Alfredo's, GG, Le Cellier, Plaza, MM, and Cape May/1900 PF (still haven't decided, leaning towards CM). I am so excited to try all these places; Gotta love the DDP!!!

Last year we ate dinner at 'Ohana. We were seated by the window with a view of the castle. We were getting ready to go back to MK (for Spectro and Wishes) and I saw the EWP starting. We ran to the monorail and the driver stopped over the water so we could watch the floats. Then we got to MK in time to see the first Spectro (we followed it right up Main St- we waved like we were in the parade :teeth: )

Wow - babysat by Reba McEntire! And sorry about your dad - I concur with Linda - it seems to me that your mom did a great job!

Yum! We've eaten at all except GG, Plaza, Alfredo's, and your choices are excellent! Love Cape May - one of my personal faves!

We are just an interesting bunch, including you Linda, and Nicole! :grouphug: I suppose being a Disney addict is enough to make us all unique and interesting! (or in the eyes of some, insane) We just all have our unusual interests/experiences that set us apart from one another. I think I have a mundane life until I realize what all I've done/seen. Sure I didn't change the world or I'm not independently wealthy from inventing some common item, but I've done some cool stuff - as I'm sure we all have. It might just not seem that way to us.
Geez where did that come from?! too serious.

Ugh, I had just clicked "Post Reply" when all of a sudden I feel this WET and Ruby had thrown up all over me and the couch!!! :bitelip:

Luckily the couch has a slip cover on it and I threw it and my clothes in the washer and ran to the shower! Hmmm, she is preparing me for parenthood more than I thought!! I don't think she has felt good since we were in the car without air conditioning all day Sunday. Jeremiah & I have also felt sick since!! I have been making sure she is eating and drinking plenty of water though!!

Nicole and Linda!: How I quote multiple times is probably not the 'official' or most time saving way. I just open 2 windows with our thread and have one open with a reply and one open that I read. When I found a post I want to quote, I hit the quote button and then copy & paste it in the other window. Then I hit "back" and continue reading. There is probably an easier way that I haven't figured out yet. I hope this makes sense!

OH! And good news. Carmax just called and they already have the part for the window! It only took 24 hours! They want us to be there at 8:15 tomorrow morning, and they will fix the problem!! I think they want us to be as satisifed as possible w/them because we just got the car 8 days ago and we have already had 2 problems!!

actually, regional I guess - based out of Tulsa, but did some shows in surrounding states. I started in the business before I moved out here from CA. Music? Mostly metal - Heart, Rush, Triumph, Dokken, some Pretenders, Motels - a looong list of 80's progressive, metal, and pop. I've also played Jazz, blues, and country.

Yum! We've eaten at all except GG, Plaza, Alfredo's, and your choices are excellent! Love Cape May - one of my personal faves!

hmmm to see if I did it right :)

thanks you all are so sweet!!! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: wonderful people. I am so glad Fantasia started this thread!

Ashley, I hope all of you feel better soon.

I do multiple quotes the same way as you. It's the easiest way I have found.

:woohoo: I did it...I did it :woohoo:

Ashley...good luck w/your car! Great that they're taking care of you quickly. Hope you guys get to feeling better soon! pixiedust:

Ashley, that is really gross. I have been lucky enough to avoid being puked on with both of my girls. The closest I've gotten was Emma tossed her cookies on my pillow one evening after too much dancing. The girl's gotta do the twist every night before bed!

So I've been trying to talk my Dad into doing the Segway tour at Epcot on our next trip. I must not have described it very well when I first brought it up a couple months ago, because he said it sounded "stupid." The problem is, he doesn't like to spend money. I don't either, but I'd rather spend it on a unique experience than on a pile of souvenirs that will just sit around the house. He also didn't get the point of touring the countries while they are closed. "What is there to DO?" :confused3

Last week I mentioned to my Mom that I really think it seems cool and I wish he would change his mind. 2 days ago, I said, "Maybe I'll just book it for myself." Lo and behold, today I get an email from Dad with a copy of a review from THIS SITE and his comment: "I'm thinking about it." Which in Dadlish means "you were right." :woohoo: I just hope there are spaces open for it when he finally admits that it's worth it (which, based on prior experience, should be tonight or tomorrow morning.) And Mom is excited because she has been trying to figure out when she can do laundry. :rotfl2:

You are so lucky Lyzziesmom...Kenny has gotten sick on me so many times I can't count... now he's a clean freak and never misses the bathroom.

Good luck w/your tour :woohoo: sounds awesome :Pinkbounc

Yay, Linda!!! You did it!

Lyzziesmom - the Segway tour sounds like fun - pixiedust: for your dad making the "right" decision....

Ashley - sorry you got Pug puke... hopefully you all will feel better soon!

I like your choices. We eat at RFC each trip. The only ones we haven't tried are Boma and Cape May. We enjoyed 1900 PF, so I would recommend that one.

All this puke talk reminded of a funny episode with Emma and my mom's cat. One evening before bed a few weeks ago, Emma said to me "Kee-yo! Mess!" I asked her, "Did Cleo make a mess?" (I always repeat what I think she said, because many of her words sound the same.) She said yes. I asked her what happened - she stuck out her tongue and made a gagging sound. Apparently the cat, Cleo, threw up on Emma that day and my mom forgot to tell me, but Emma tattled on her! Kinda gross, but I thought it was funny.

That sounds like so much fun!! :cool1: I have always thought the Segway Tour would be cool to do. But, I probably won't be doing it until the kids are older and can go off on their own.

I would also like to parasail at Disney sometime. I think that would be awsome. Or maybe a hot air balloon ride over Disney?

Ugh, all this throwing up talk is majorly grossing me out.

Lyzziesmom: The Segway tour sounds like so much fun!! I hope you are able to do it. If you do, can you write a review or tell us about it? I am wondering if I would like it, myself!!! I would love to book something like that for our September trip. I'm not sure what though. I want to do something special for DH because its our late honeymoon..Anybody have any ideas? I could order a basket and have it delivered the room...I don't know! :confused3
