April- Yea on getting a great ding rate! I got a ding for my trip to Orlando for $70 and rebooked it but in the mist of my excitement, there was a ding down the page for the return flight for $74 that I missed! I have a $60 credit! I've rebooked my flights about 3 times now!

Ashley- I'm glad you got the car fixed! There is this bbq place that has great ribs close to Galveston that I want to go to. It's kind of far but I want ribs!

Dznyfan- Your DD is so funny!

Lyzziesmom- I hope you will be able to get Emma's name changed soon! Your girlies are lucky to have such a great mom like you.

Linda- Speaking of scrapbooks- I finally finished my Disney scrapbook from Dec! On Sunday I just sat down and worked on it. It had all of our pics with the characters in it! It has plenty of room for next month's character pics! It's so funny, you can tell in the beginning of the trip DBF doesn't like taking pictures because he isn't smiling and by the end of the trip he has a little smile on his face! Those other pics from June I completely forgot about! I think I need to buy some kind of cord for it. I might have one lying around somewhere. I need to look.

I have news. We added another day to our upcoming trip!!! Originally, we were suppose to stay at DH's parents house for Thanksgiving then check into POP the next day. Yesterday, I was telling a coworker that I wanted to go straight to WDW, but didn't want to say anything to DH (he doesn't see his family often).
Later, DH and I were walking into the house and he asked if it was wrong that he didn't want to stay at his parents house. I started laughing; I couldn't believe that we both had the same thought. So, we will be going straight to POP!!! I made an ADR for 8:15pm at 1900 Park Fare for Thanksgiving dinner last night. This morning I made another for Cape May Cafe at 3:30pm. I can't decide which I want to go to. Any suggestions??

My dad didn't know his real last name while growing up. He found out what it was when he applied for his driver's license. He started using his 'real' name when he married my mom.

My DFIL also didn't know his last name while growing up. He changed it when he found out as a teeneager.

Late breaking, exciting news!! I just booked a trip to Disney for MNSSHP w/ DH and my DSis!! Call it we got a Wild Hair but we threw caution to the wind and we're going!!

I'm thinking maybe I'll be Jessie the Cowgirl and DH can be my Woody!!

An ancestor (from France - 1600's - 1700's?) was some kind of royalty, but was shunned from the family when he married a woman who was not 'approved of' - she was some kind of commoner or something - he left the country and immigrated to the US.

So Pozey - your dad and grandfather really in the rodeo Hall of Fame?? When I was a kid on a horse ranch, I used to want to rodeo... Loved Jim Shoulders and Larry Mahan. (Jim was a little before my time...)

pozey I feel your pain...I NEVER want to be at work. It is such a long drive... the "big" boss is a JERK!!! Literally everyone here totally hates him... but if I can start working from home soon I won't have to worry about him anymore
Okeechobee.... ahhh good fishing there! My xh is a HUGE bass fisherman talked about going there all the time...I'd rather head to the beach!! See friends in Boca or something! I use to work for Siemens and they have a corp. headquarters there. I'd work there if it I weren't so afraid of hurricanes

lyzziesmom...yeah I worked w/my x for 9 yrs!! When we traveled we were literally together 24/7 only privacy or alone time was in the restroom ...took lots of long baths I didn't mind him working here since I'm in the office and he still travels. I knew how much he made, if he got a raise, where he was/when etc. so he couldn't lie when it came to child support and visitation! Now he hired on w/another company but the funny part is...that co. is owned by our co. he is so stupid!!! He still hasn't figured it out!! Yes our relationships that we have w/our little ones are SO great . Mike thinks that is why it was so easy for me leaving the ex b/c I always poured my into Kenny. Makes sense I guess.

Michele...you'll have to let us know about your trip! I've never stayed at Coronado Springs either. I'd like to try SOG as well!

Nicole... that is great!!! I hope you find everything and can recollect your old pix! Maybe you can post your scrapbook. Yes wdw starts growing on them and they can't hide that it's fun after awhile. they let the guard down and have fun!

Amber ...that is great you got to add another day!!! Have you already eaten at a lot of the restaurants? We enjoyed Le Cellier and Ohana the best on our trip this year. Ohana was a great view of Wishes

about every dish I use period is disney... cup ,glass, bowl ,plate... you name it! Gotta have my Mickey!! He's in Kennys bathroom, took over a whole room in the basement... we put up 2 x-mas trees... 1 is nothing but disney...the other is disney and the other favorites that you've gotta put up...Christmas the house is totally decked out w/disney stuff EVERYWHERE!!! I've spent about 10k in one year on www.disneyshopping.com but I don't spend like that anymore... really!!

DH doesn't know who is father is, and his mom isn't telling. His step-father is on his birth certificate, which incidentally, was filed over 5 years after his birth. His mom used to sing professionally with Jimmy Dean. My theory is he's the illegitimate son of Jimmy Dean.

any of you ever go to the lion king musical? Ahhhh that was the most awesome thing ever!!

Ohhh, that really is a wonderful show! I went about 3 or 4 years ago. I really enjoyed it!!! I also saw Beauty and the Beast..But I think The Lion King was the best!!! I would love to see it again.

ahhh. what a great nap Mike just asked me if I were married to the DIS .............He just called me a DIS junkie... hahaha I better go spend some time w/him he's getting jealous of you guys

April!! Yay for saving money on the flight!! Unfortunately, Southwest doesn't fly out of Dulles right now. They start on October 5, ofcourse after my trip!! Next trip, hopefully I'll get lucky! We are flying United for our September trip.

Amber: YAY! You get to extend your trip!!! My September trip is my longest yet, ( 7 days) but I wish we could make it longer!!!

My mom and stepdad went to Jamaica 16 times in 1 year!!! Buddy owned a resort there... hurricane destroyed it and never rebuilt it...I was in hs..I think it was Hugo???? wish it were still there...I'd live there...

I COMPLETELY understand your sentiments of your last statement. Another TMI from me......my dad committed suicide when I was 13. Less than a month after my 13th birthday. But I have never let that affect me. Plus, my mother was a ROCK and raised 4 boys to be decent citizens.

My dad traveled the rodeo circuit with Clark McEntire.....Reba McEntire's dad. So, when I would go with them, Reba would babysit me. Reba came to my HS graduation. But I haven't seen or talked to her since my grandmother's funeral several years back.

oh...my mom has never met her dad either.
My grandmother had her first child at age 12!!! and had 12 children and died 3 years ago at 63 which was her 7th heart attack!! Her sister had her first child at 11!!!! That is just scary! There is a state park or nat. park...I forget..that is named after my moms cousin... my mom watched another cousin drown...she doesn't know how to swim...the cousin was 16... SO SAD!

I think Jim Shoulders was still rodeoing when dad did, but I don't recall. I know he knew Larry Mahan quite well.

I rodeo'd up until I graduated HS. I didn't like to do it at all, but kind of "had to"......coming from the family. I was pretty good......but wanted to play baseball more.....
