Yummy!!! Thanks, Lesa!! I feel @#$%!!! better now!!!:rotfl2:

Good morning,all!!
Michele:: Don't forget to be on your best behavior for your family!!
I'll be thinking of Miss Lilly tomorrow.:cutie:

Lesa:: Sorry for your family drama. I can't imagine the girls WANTING to visit their grandparents, if all the grandparents do is work!!! At least you did your part by inviting them. I'm trying to remember; are they from Ohio?

Obviously I was not up!!!!:cloud9: :rotfl2:

Donna's got a potty mouth!:lmao: :rotfl2:

Yes they are from Ohio, only about an hour away from Michele. We just keep it hush when we are in town!;) Lately if they are on the phone and ask to talk to the girls, the girls aways ask which grandparent it is and them say they don't want to speak to them. It's a shame that they have made it this way. There loss!

Last night I went out to eat with my friend and the guys all stayed her with the kids and had Pizza. We came in and the guys were teaching the kids to gamble. They were playing left/right/center.:lmao:

Morning, lyzziesmom!! Have fun returning your stuff today!!! I need to get motivated to do some cleaning today, but so far all I've done is Dis and downloaded Ding to this different laptop.:rolleyes1

Hey, Lesa!! Gambling may come in handy for the girls someday. I've always felt so out of place at Vegas; MY parents didn't properly educate me on how to gamble. My cousin usually could end up paying for her Vegas trips with her winnings!! Where did I go wrong??:rotfl2:

I've been over on the darkside of the Dis trying to soak in some Universal knowledge/enthusiasm(sp?)!!:surfweb: I get so tired of reading the horror stories......like checking into Royal Pacific at noon and being told they've overbooked and no rooms are left???:scared1: Our stay at Hard Rock last year was great and now I'm worried that the Royal Pacific was a bad choice??
Oh, well, stuff happens wherever you go, I guess. I just need to remember to call and verify that we'll be arriving really, really, late. I worry too much.:headache: :scared:

...........so did I chase everyone off today?? :scared1: I'll try to watch my language from now on; I promise.

We had some visitors earlier today. A person that Gary met from one of his slotcar forums was passing through the area; he and his wife stopped by to look at Gary's track!! The lady was really sweet and we had a nice chat while Gary and Rick talked/played slot cars!!:rotfl2:

Don't know what our plans for this evening include. Gary mentioned mowing, but that hasn't happened yet.
I'm starting to get hungry.

Donna, don't worry about RPR!! I'm sure it will work out fine. I've stayed there 3x and never have had a problem!!!! I want to stay at Hard Rock next though- try something new!!!!

Donna, don't worry about RPR!! I'm sure it will work out fine. I've stayed there 3x and never have had a problem!!!! I want to stay at Hard Rock next though- try something new!!!!

Thanks, Ashley!! I'm sure everything will be fine!! We just don't get to MCO until 11:40pm. I think by the time we get our luggage and rental car, we'll be lucky to make it to RPH much before 1am/130am.:scared:

It seemed like RPR was to the airport than Disney is. The drive isn't bad at all!! I'm sure the late check in will be fine...just call and confirm it!! I know you will have a great trip!

Pozey - should we go buy lottery tickets today?
Actually I did. We took the boys to a swim party in downtown BA today. And on the way, I wanted to stop at Hank's and wash my Tahoe. But all I had was a $20, so I stopped at QuikTrip to get change.....so I bought 2 tickets. Wish me luck....I could be the only one to buy tickets and I still wouldn't win....:lmao:
Everybody have a great day - I've got a good friend coming over today - we're going to float around in the pool and drink some Japanese beer that she discovered while she was at Space Camp last month.
Japansese beer, huh? Is it good?

I got some special Honey Wheat beer the other day at Reasors that was pretty good.

/
Hey guys. Don't worry Donna, you didn't scare me off! I was kind of enjoying your little outburst, I actually laughed out loud. I'm sure if you let RPR know that you'll have a late checkin, it will be fine. I'd imagine they deal with that every day.

I'm happy to report that our little miss Emma had NO potty accidents today! This is the first day in about a week that she has been pee-free, she was really backsliding there. The ironic part is that today she wore an outfit that I bought for her last year at WDW after she peed on me - it has Winnie the Pooh on it and says on the front of the top: "Pp Pooh". Go ahead, say it out loud, you know you want to.

That little Emma is so funny. Today we were all watching a movie and I guess Emma was bored by it. She walked up to Lyzzie and said in all seriousness, "So, how is your day?"

We never got much cleaning done today, but thank goodness my grandparents didn't come over anyway. But we did get all our returns done and bought very little so I came out ahead - but I did see a big bamboo plate at Sam's that I would like to go back and get to hang on the wall.

I talked to my mom about my granparents' barn kittens (Stink and Stinky) - the plan is just to leave them with the house when they sell it, so the new owners will inherit them. I'd still rather rescue them but at least they're not marked for death! We were at PetCo today killing time and the Humane Society was there, they had the cutest kittens and I nearly got one. I asked a ton of questions, but several things happened that changed my mind: they were not yet fixed and won't release them until they are. Guesstimated time = a MONTH! I would not want to have to wait a month to bring it home, it would be half grown by then. Also, they were Manx kittens with no tails, which is fine, but they all had red swollen monkey butts. I asked the lady what they had, and she actually said, "Oh I don't know but I'm sure whatever it is, they're treating it. It should be fine." Also they were obviously not very tame. I'm still going to try to convince Mom to bring home Stink and Stinky though, I really miss having a cat in the house. She says I should bring my two old cats home... but first of all when I've asked for them, she won't give them back! Second of all, they are both getting up in years and it would be too sad to get used to having them around again just to see them go. I think the stress of moving again might be too much - they are about 13 and 15 which is pretty old for indoor/outdoor cats.

I rented "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" and am off to watch it now. I hope it's funny, I'm in the mood for some laughs!

Eh, never mind about that movie. I'm going to bed... got some more Plum to read and I can guarantee I'll fall asleep after about 5 pages, never fails. At this rate it'll take me forever to finish! I can't believe how I used to tear through a book - I read 'Salem's Lot in an afternoon, and I've been working on Lean Mean 13 for about a week and a half now. I think I just passed the halfway point. That's something nobody ever tells you about getting older: you can't read as fast. You keep falling asleep.

lyzziesmom said:

:cool2: I think I resemble that remark!!!!:lmao:

Yay!! for Miss Emma's potty perfect day!!!:cutie:

Of course it wasn't her regular Dr so to him it is just a cold and he's sure she'll be fine. I asked him about her wheezing and coughing and he said not to worry it's not that bad! That was after I told him this is how she always starts out and if I wait for it to go away she will only get worse. He asked me why I would expect it to get worse before it actually does, because it may not and she'll be fine.   Her regular Dr. won't be back until Monday so I will probally have to take her back. Right now I am giving her albuterol through the neb and I upped her her pulmicort from 1 puff 2x a day to 2 puffs 2x a day. She seems to be doing better, still wheezing though.

I wanted to ask you, is your son on the new Albuterol inhaler? They gave it to Maddie and it doesn't seem to work as well. I asked the Pharmacist about it and he said he didn't have any complaints, but he traded it in for one of the regular ones he has left. I also asked the doctor if any of the other kids were having problems with it and he said no, she was probally getting the medicine just fine, just without the proppellant I didn't notice it as much through the spacer. I was talking to my friend yesterday, she has asthma, she said that she also noticed it did not work as well.

Can you tell with all the  I am rather annoyed by that dr?:rolleyes1

I hope you guys are feeling better soon!

We have the newer type inhaler and the older ones. That's an interesting comment you make about Maddie because they use more puffs of it when they do the lung function test at the dr office(4 instead of 2). They must know it's not as effective. Hey...there is a new inhaler called xopenex. It's a form of albuterol and DS likes it much more than the albuterol because it causes less heart racing etc. It does cost more but maybe your insurance will cover it or maybe they would have a sample. I had to pay $30 for it. It has 200 doses so it will last a long time. We don't have a nebulizer and many many people tell me it works much better when they are in a flare. My sister is going to give me hers and I'm going to get some meds for it. We go Monday to his allergy dr. I sure hope she doesn't get worse. We just went through this with DS...luckily we were able to ride it out. I hear him coughing again...it's very frustrating.:grouphug:

Good morning!

I beat everyone up once again.:surfweb: This is getting to be an annoying habit of mine. :headache:

Yesterday I worked a bit in Maddie's room painting the ceiling. Now I know why none of the ceilings were painted properly when we moved in, it's a pain in the neck, literally!:headache: I had the roller on a pole and the pole snapped, the roller came crashing down on my head and down the whole side of me.:sad2: I ended up with paint all over everything!:headache:

Lizziesmom....Wouldn't it be hard to bring barn cats into the house once they are free to roam outside?

I think maybe David has the Xopenex, I'll have to ask him. Maddie has another PFT coming up, I'll have to watch which inhailer they use. I know for the first one they used the regular one. Maybe the tech would no better about the inhailers, I'll talk to him about it. The new ones definitely do not work well. Definitely get a nebulizer if you can. Our ins. has paid for them with nothing out of pocket from me. You need a Rx for them, so maybe check with you ins. co. Maddie get longer relief from it when she is having problems than with the regular inhailers. It can be a pain in the butt sometimes to do, but well worth it. She was pretty wiped out yesterday, she came home from playing at her friends so she could lay down. :guilty: I am going to have to ask again about them referring her to an allergy Dr. They don't seem to want to because they do everything there in the peds office. I hope your son is doing better! I always hate to hear that cough!!:sad2:

Good morning, Crew!!!

Hi, Lesa!!! Yeech!! What a mess with your paint!! I know a few dirty words.....just in case you didn't get it out of your system!!!:teeth:
Was this the blue paint for the ceiling??
How about some Blueberry Muffins to go with the Blue Ceiling??:goodvibes

....and we can't forget the Starbucks!!!:woohoo:

Any special plans for today? Nothing special on our agenda. I cleaned house yesterday and cleaned the glass top of the patio table. How much fun can one girl have???

I had a few dirty words of my own!;) Yes, it was the blue paint, now her room is a mix of strange colors that look oddly good together. (Tinkerbell Green, One Enchanted Evening purple, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Blue) Throw in the mix a Tink Pink colored shag throw rug and wallah your on your way to a Tinkerbell room.:3dglasses

Thanks for the muffins, I actually was thinking of making some this morning, but Maddie opted for a pop tart.:confused3 I'm waiting for David to wake his lazy butt up to make coffee, mine never tastes good.:rolleyes1

I don't think we'll do too much today, Maddie woke up still coughing and wheezy. I think it is another sit at home day. I will probably do some sulking because I'm not at Lilly's baptism. :sad1:

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Maddie's room sounds really cute and girlie!!!
I thought of Miss Lilly as I was typing my previous post. Maybe in a couple of weeks you'll be able to squeeze in a visit??

HEY!! Who would want a warm Blueberry Muffin when you could have a PopTart??:confused3

Mike and I have been discussing DVC and he is very interested in it. I'm doing some research now. I think if we do end up getting it, we will go resale.

It started because I was telling him how much Linda had been researching and he told me I should do the same. I am VERY excited!
:cool1: That is awesome Amber!!! I love the space and points that OKW has but I love the location of BWV.... I know we can stay anywhere...but I want to buy where we like the best and considering I've never been to any of those resorts...I want to do some hopping around in Dec!
I know, I am so excited! It won't be for a while, because we want to pay cash, but I am so happy just thinking about it.

I am getting ready to call and add on an extra day to our Sept trip too.
that is definitely the best way to do it. That is what I want to do too...but it might be another 6mo- to a year since I'm keeping the rental. It always brightens my mood when I get to thinking about it:cloud9:
yay for adding a day to your trip!!!

My throat hurts- I hope I'm not getting sick again!! I never 100% recovered from my cold.
oh Ashley, I hope you're not getting sick!:grouphug:

Of course it wasn't her regular Dr so to him it is just a cold and he's sure she'll be fine.
 oh how annoying!! you know your child better than anyone else...of coarse you know what happens b/c it is YOUR daughter....Sorry Lesa...how frustrating!

good morning all! I thought I'd check in and say hi before I disappear for the day. I'm off to Buffalo with my parents for the day visiting my great aunt. She was diagnosed with cancer in the spring and they just caught it too late to do anything. I probably won't see her again since I'm moving to Michigan for school in August. It's hard but at least we had warning.

Hope everyone has a fabulous Saturday!!!!
hey there tink85 Have a safe trip to Buffalo. so sorry to hear about your great aunt. My moms cousin passed away Friday of cancer:guilty: its bad to say, but I'm relieved...he suffered so badly for so long:sad2: his wife would steal his pain meds from him and take herself:mad: ...I'm glad he's in a better place and not suffering anymore!

My sister and her family are flying in this morning...wish me luck! I have promised to be on my best behavior!! Lilly's baptism is tomorrow and we are going to my brother's this afternoon for birthday parties so I need to get busy cleaning. I am doing tomorrow very low key. I am having everyone back to the house but we are just doing cake.

Have a great one all!!
aww can't wait to see pix. Lilly is too precious:cloud9:

Happy 7/7/07 everyone!! You feeling lucky??

All this talk about DVC is driving me crazy!! I would love to buy DVC!!
me too... I hope you win the lotto! I wish I could too..but I don't play very often:rolleyes1 maybe a few times a year...

Everybody have a great day - I've got a good friend coming over today - we're going to float around in the pool and drink some Japanese beer that she discovered while she was at Space Camp last month.
that sure sounds like fun!

Shizitz!!!! My long post of comments just freakin' disappeared!!! @#$!!!!

Have a great Saturday everyone!!!!
:rotfl: Sorry Donna...that was cute

How about some French Toast from Kona's. Michele's favorite!
P6240605.jpg
oh thank you! I can't wait to eat at Kona!!!

Good morning friends! I am supposed to be cleaning house today, but I woke up feeling very sore and lethargic, so I don't think it's going to happen.
Hope you get to feeling better!

There loss!

Last night I went out to eat with my friend and the guys all stayed her with the kids and had Pizza. We came in and the guys were teaching the kids to gamble. They were playing left/right/center.
Yes, it is their loss!!
teaching them to gamble:rotfl: tell them to come on over...my dad lived in Vegas for 5 years and took all the classes on how to win. He was a dealer, then worked in security watching the tables...they teach you how to play but you can't play in the casino you work in...

I've been over on the darkside of the Dis trying to soak in some Universal knowledge/enthusiasm(sp?)!! I get so tired of reading the horror stories......like checking into Royal Pacific at noon and being told they've overbooked and no rooms are left??? Our stay at Hard Rock last year was great and now I'm worried that the Royal Pacific was a bad choice??
Oh, well, stuff happens wherever you go, I guess. I just need to remember to call and verify that we'll be arriving really, really, late. I worry too much.
I know what you mean... when we went down for our honeymoon we didn't roll in town til around midnight...but all was fine, thankfully! I'm sure it'll be ok:grouphug:

...........so did I chase everyone off today?? I'll try to watch my language from now on; I promise.

We had some visitors earlier today. A person that Gary met from one of his slotcar forums was passing through the area; he and his wife stopped by to look at Gary's track!! The lady was really sweet and we had a nice chat while Gary and Rick talked/played slot cars!!

Don't know what our plans for this evening include. Gary mentioned mowing, but that hasn't happened yet.
I'm starting to get hungry.
:rotfl: no, you didn't chase us off. Good luck ever doing that:lmao: that's cool you got visitors. At least Gary should understand since he's on forums too. whoo hoo!!

Donna, don't worry about RPR!! I'm sure it will work out fine. I've stayed there 3x and never have had a problem!!!! I want to stay at Hard Rock next though- try something new!!!!
so you guys have all used that where you show your hotel room card and bypass the lines??? that is the part that sounds good to me!!

I'm happy to report that our little miss Emma had NO potty accidents today!

That little Emma is so funny. Today we were all watching a movie and I guess Emma was bored by it. She walked up to Lyzzie and said in all seriousness, "So, how is your day?"
Yay Emma!!!

isn't that so cute the things they say:cloud9:

well we went to the Columbus Zoo yesterday. That was fun... military was free this week, so that was even better! I haven't downloaded any pix yet, I'm curious how they turned out. Then we went to Red Robin and finally had the spinach dip I've been wanting for months!!! Then to TDS..and can you believe I didn't buy anything:eek: there must be something wrong w/me:lmao: or it was the $$$ I spent at Sephora and JC Penney:rotfl: I bought a bikini at Pennys (a pirate bikini) b/c I wanted those tan lines in the tanning bed ;) and I tried it on once we got home...Mikes mouth dropped and asked me again to be sure I wouldn't wear it out in public:lmao: Yes dear, it's all for your enjoyment only:rotfl: that was so funny! He sure knows how to make me feel good!

Oh thanks for breakfast Donna!! Today..we haven't gotten that far yet:rotfl: Mike is out in the garden right now..and I'm thinking maybe the $1 theatre if the new pirate movie is there...not really sure yet...I was up too late watching that stinking race last night:rolleyes1

I hope everyone has a great day! I'm sure I'll have to be sneaking a nap in today!!!!

Lizziesmom....Wouldn't it be hard to bring barn cats into the house once they are free to roam outside?

Actually at their age it shouldn't be too bad, I think they are only about 3 months old. When Emma was last there, they had just opened their eyes and began to walk around. My Grandpa is a bit of a softie for kittens and lets them in the house once in a while -- yes he's the same one who will shoot them. I don't get it either but there you go. Also I'm thinking they could be like our last cat Jake and not need a litter box - just boot 'em outside when it's time to "go". Jake got so good at holding it that I'd leave him in the house all day & he wouldn't go until I got home & let him out, and he didn't go all night either. And if Stink & Stinky are used to going outside, that could be a big plus. I strongly dislike cleaning litter boxes!! I may have to change their names though. The last set of kittens around there were Sniff & Sniffy.

The Tink room sounds great! I can't wait to see pictures (hint hint) - and if you have any with 1/2 of you painted blue, those would be nice too. :rolleyes1 I have so much that still needs painting at my house, including the Tink room ceiling, but you've just reminded me why I don't attempt it alone.

Oops, the kids are stirring so I'd better run. They were up so late last night, lots of excitement with all the visiting and took forever to settle down.

I'm sorry about your aunt. Where in Michigan are you moving? I am just north of Detroit.

I'll be in Ann Arbor - Grad school at University of Michigan - putting off the real world for two more years :rolleyes1:

Thanks for all the well wishing for my great aunt. She looked tired yesterday but she seemed happy. All the family was there so it was a fun day and absolutely beautiful out!

Linda - what a finish on that race last night! At least it was worth staying up for! My parents are big NASCAR fans - we used to go to the race at Watkins Glen every year.

It's way too hot out to be doing anything today but we're heading to the mall to return some stuff and I'm getting a new bed set for my apartment in MI :yay: . My sis and I might take in a movie - she's not feeling all that hot at the moment though so that's up in the air.

(PS - that Tink room sounds fabulous - why didn't Disney have a paint line when I was a kid??? and don't feel bad about getting covered in paint - my ceiling is only white and I think I was wearing half the paint can after I repainted it last winter ;) )

Good Morning!

Thanks for breakfast DOnna!

Lesa- That is too funny about you being covered in paint! ;) I'd like to see pics too!

Michele- I can't wait to see pics of Lilly's baptism!

Linda- I can't wait to see pics from the zoo! A bikini! I'm sure Mike enjoyed it! :teeth:

I saw Transformers yesterday and it was so good!

Hi, guys! Hope everybody's Sunday is going well.

Donna - Blueberry muffins are the best!! Definitely much better than pop tarts...

Lesa - Oh, I'm sorry you had such a mess with that ceiling! That certainly doesn't sound like fun.

Lyzziesmom - I hope you get to bring those kittens home! I think it's great you want to adopt them! Erin decided yesterday she wanted a kitten, in addition to our current cat - yeah that really went over well with her father!

Pozey - how'd you do with your Lottery tickets yesterday? Quitting your job tomorrow?
I was disappointed - and my friend was ticked - she discovered yesterday before coming over that you can't get that beer anywhere here! So - she brought Sam Adams and I had the usual rum & fruity. I can't drink beer anyway - it gives me a headache! But I used to love wheat and honey wheat beers, especially with a little squeeze of lemon!

We've got another beautiful, warm day today - but I'm inside watching a TIVOed show "The Hand Behind The Mouse - the Ub Iwerks Story" - it's a great show! Lyzziesmom, have you gone to any of the of the old buildings that used to house the cartoon studios that Walt and Ub started there in KC? I think it would be fascinating to track down those old places, just to see them!

Well, my show is over - got to go work on a cruise for my office manager at work, then it's off to the pool for me.
