Hey hey kiddies---

I am home with the stomach flu (the past two days)----lovely----and am feeling a bit better so I wanted to come and say hi.

Thanks still for everyone's thoughts and prayers. I am seeing a new doctor tomorrow that my doctor recommended who is covered under my new insurance. I had to completely skip all treatments this month due to the chaos but am holding pretty steady.

I do have a cute car story. I went out Saturday morning to look because I have to turn my car in for end-of-lease. Well, my first choice of colors was a sort of grey/gray color but the more I looked at it, the more it pulled a strong purple cast----not really my style. Well, evidently my mom was on the phone with my 6 yr. old nephew (who is a car nut) and told him that Aunt-T was looking at a new car but wasn't sure if she likes the color. His response--------zzzhjjjjssshust paint it. Aahhh, if it were only that easy. Out of the mouth of babes.



Donna----what a lovely breakfast yesterday morning!!!! May I request a Bellini?? Might as well----we're in Italy.
...and WL today----you spoil us!!!!
How are you doing girlie?? How are your shoes working out?? Have you had a chance to even wear them due to the not -so -springy weather lately??


Linda-----I LOVE Kenny's new picture!!!! My mom asked me how he was doing the other day. I was sad because I haven't been here much lately, so I didn't know what to tell her. I'll have to show her his picture the next time I'm over there.
How's the court hearing going?? I think I read that the ex got booted out of court?? What a class act, huh?? I'm thinking about you guys!!


Lyzziesmom----Lyzzie got a m-m-m-m-m-mouse??????? More power to ya, girl!!!! I only can handle one mouse and he's the Leader of the Club. (and I'll pass on knowing what his poops are like )
Good luck to Miss Emma on the potty training. I'm sure one of these days she'll just be done with the diapers.


Amber----only a few more days!!! I hope all works out with your mom and the in-laws. I think you deserve a trip just the two of you. I'm sure you'll have a good time, though. Just tell them you and Mike need some alone time. Cell phones can be saving graces.


Lesa----your sewing story had me rolling!!! Barbie sewing machine!!!!! I would love to have been a fly on the wall when you told the lady at the material shop about that one!!! I hate to tell you, but I'm sure you were the talk of the store amongst co-workers after you left.
Did I miss the final chapter of the story?? Or did you not post it yet??
I'll be thinking about you on Monday with your medical testing. Try not to worry about it until then. Everything will work out.


Yolanda-----good luck with the move. Glad to hear the final walk through went well---that is always nervewracking. I'm sure everthing will go smoothly. Be sure to check in when you can.



Lin---Spiderman doesn't have a mouth, does he???? What in the world would he sing?? "I got webs, they're multiplyyyyin'......and I'm loooosin' control".
Sorry, I can't help you in the ADR department. I have never been to Tony's and it's been years since LTT----not since they turned it into a character meal for dinner. We used to eat there when they had their lunch menu for dinner----clam chowder, etc. It was good, what I can remember.



DznyFan----poor Erin!!! I will keep her in my prayers for Monday. What is the rehab time for this?? Good luck to her.
I meant to tell you that you really gave me the fever to go to NYC and see Mary Poppins. You know as soon as I knew that it opened on Broadway I wanted to go, but seeing your pics really put me over the edge. With all of this insurance stuff though, I will have to look at my budget. Your pics are wonderful!!!! Everyone looks like they were having such a good time. The scenery pics too, are wonderful. I swear I have the recipe somewhere for the Serendipity frozen hot chocolate. I will have to look for it.



Michele---what a little punkin, that Lilly is!!!! She is getting so big!! How's the house coming?? Nice visual on the fashion forward shopping bag hat.



YM---hmmm, rat/allergy clinic........allergy clinic/rat....... .........sounds very suspicious in the same sentence....... don't ya think?? Have the docs ever put two and two together on this one??

I hope Courtney's mouth is feeling better. I cringed when I saw those pictures. What a little trooper.

My mom just called and told me that my uncle was carjacked and stabbed 16 times. Luckily, a girl found him and called the police or else he would have bled to death. He is in surgery now; most of the wounds were on his arm. They had to do surgery, because the arm was swelling They said he will be ok. I just can't believe it; what is wrong with people?

OMG Amber!!!!!! I'll be praying his surgery goes well and everything goes ok! I hope they find the guy!! What is wrong w/people...I really wish I knew I just thank god that girl was put in that place to save his life!

Oh my goodness, Amber!!!! This is terrible!!! Where does he live?? I am is disbelief!! Thank goodness the girl found him and was able to get help. Please know that I am saying a prayer for him!!! How are you and your mom holding up??

Yeah, court was interesting to say the least!!! we should know in a week or two what the judge decided. I feel pretty good about it. It went very well and their atty. was so frustrated through the whole thing it wasn't going his way and he thinks he's all that but ...it is what it is. It was a college fund and the kid didn't want to go to college, why in the heck does he think he should just get that money to blow is beyond me. I know it was really his mother behind it...but he's 21 years old, he can make his own decisions. You can tell your mom that Kenny is doing just awesome..he's 6 going on 26 and just as full of it as ever! He's now ready to go on ToT and TT again I sure hope you get to feeling better and I've been thinking about you all the time. Hope all goes well w/the new Dr's!

We are doing ok. My aunt was shaken, but is fine. My uncle was awake earlier and was just depressed that it happened. He said he didn't want anyone to visit him. We are waiting to here how the surgery went. It was done to reduce the swelling in his arm. He used that to block the attack, so nothing major (like heart or lung) was punctured.

He was near Baltimore, MD (lives in Westminster, MD). He was up there for a job interview.

uhhh, Amber----my heart goes out to you and your family!!! Do you mind me asking how old your uncle is??
I know this must be depressing for him but he needs to know that he is an innocent victim and he did his best to survive. He was a smart and lucky man to have been able to walk away without major injuries. There are such crazy and scary people in this world!! Please let us know how his surgery went.

It sure seemed to go our way, but we'll know for sure here pretty soon. He owes his mom $, so I'm sure that was their motive for trying anything possible to go after him for $ I guess she just retired from Embarq...so Mike will get 1/2 her check and she hates that...even though she is already getting 1/2 of Mikes. You'll have that I guess.

Oh yeah, ToT is a piece of cake if you can do Everest!! Kenny can't wait til he's tall enough for EE!!! I'm still cracking up over the push ups too he's still talking about our trip.."remember when I told them this...and that" He has a GREAT memory!!!

well Amber, I sure hope they catch the guy and your uncle recovers soon! He reacted the same way anyone would. Its natural to defend yourself and he did the right thing. If the guy did get his car, I'm sure the insurance will work that out....the most important thing is he is or will be OK. Nothing more valuable than your life. No car or material object is worth that!!! Good luck and lots of hugs and prayers for your family!

Donna---I ended up getting a white car with beige interior. I just couldn't handle the purple/gray one. I drug one of my friends to the dealer on Sunday when no one was there to get their opinion and they agreed that the purple one was a no-go. I am not driving it yet, however, because I need to turn the other one in. I have the new one in my parents' garage since City-girl street parks.
Next time we do a mini-meet, I will drive, but I promise not to take you into E. St. Louis.
