thank goodness:blush: I wouldn't want to be all alone:laughing:

I got all excited this morning when I saw an email from disneyshopping $25 off...then I saw it was if you apply for disney visa:rolleyes: darn it! Mike and I both already have those! Nicole...they have a tinkerbell one that is so cute, you probably already have it...but it's so cute. My boss' wife got him that one and he wouldn't take it:rotfl: too feminine I guess!

Mike pulled an April fools joke on Kenny and he's still trying to get him back:lmao: I keep telling him it is only on April 1st...but he don't care...he just wants revenge:rotfl2:

They have a Tink CC?:scratchin I don't have a Disney Visa yet, hmmmm.....I might have to get one. I found a place that has Tinkerbell checks! They are sooo cute. I just need to use up my other checks first, then I will get them.

That is too funny about Kenny!

Linda: I did the same thing w/the Disney shopping email... what a letdown. I can't get the Disney Visa, I've applied a couple times and I keep getting denied. Oh well, like I really NEED it anyway.

Crap... work stuff is getting in the way of my DISing!! Gotta run.

Nicole...the tink cc IS really cute!!

lyzziesmom...the only reason I have it is to get perks on booking disney stuff like the 0% interest and discounts at dtd..other than that...its really NOT a good card to have;)

Hi everyone :)

Linda, I just saw that thread you gave a link to :goodvibes: How weird!!!!

My Grandmother wanted me to ask you guys something. Her & my Grandfather own a travel website and wanted to know if any of my Disney friends wanted to own a "home based travel business". Like any other travel agent you get discounts on your own travel, (that is why my Grandparents have theirs actually!) It costs money to operate (or I think it just costs money to start it, and you have to go to some classes), but apparently the perks are very good!

Nicole, since I remember reading you wanted to be a travel agent, but couldn't have a "regular job" because of school, I thought you may be interested...

If anybody is, PM me & I'll direct you to their website.

Infomerical over :rolleyes1

I found this over on the budget board, thought I'd share. http://www.locknalarm.com/ I've seen them at Home Depot and Lowes, they are really cute. They even have a Tinkerbell one Nicole.

Good evening, everyone!!! We had quite a storm here today and it rained most of the afternoon. We had pouring rain and hail that lasted like what seemed like forever!!

Bonnie:: How cool that you had a Dis meet at Build-a-Bear!!! Yes, I really like your Hula-monkey, it's adorable.:goodvibes Looks like everyone had a great time. It's always so nce to put a face to the names.
Enjoy that Spring break!!

Lin:: I've never had a Starbuck's cinnamon roll. They're that good??? I might have to try one someday!!!

Linda:: How does Kenny like his new bike?
:woohoo: Mike is talking DVC!!!:woohoo:

Gary and Nathan are starting to watch the Cardinal game tonight. The weather cleared up just in time to play!!!
I'm on my second load of laundry....the fun never ends!!! :teeth:

Donna... I hope the weather gets better!!! Mike says depends on how court goes w/his son and everything for dvc ;)

Ashley...I sent you a pm :)

Well I'm both a home wrecker and a murderer. Today I thought it would be a good day to take down my dead Christmas wreath that has been hanging on the front porch since November.:rolleyes1 It is one of those things that has been there so long you no longer see it anymore. Well I pulled it off the nail and threw it in the yard for DH to take out with the trash, tomorrow is garbage day. As it was flying through the air I could see a nest stuck to the top of the wreath  :scared1: and flying out of that went 4 eggs.:sad1: I have had a bird diving from the porch every time I opened the door, but I didn't think anything of it. Well now the poor momma bird will come home to no nest and her babies smashed all over the ground.  She has come back to the porch several times.:sad1: I guess that will teach me to take my all Christmas decorations down before spring.:rolleyes1

Ashley: That's so cute that your grandparents call us your Disney friends! That's what Lyzzie calls you guys too. She actually talks about you often, after helping me make the door tags for our meet she learned about many of you and feels like she knows you too.

I have actually considered TA as a career, or a side job, BUT... first off, I am horrible at geography. I can't even tell you what continent many countries are in. Also, as I learned in the wonderful world of advertising, I get really frustrated working for people who change their minds constantly and/or can't form their own opinions (I find those two traits often go hand in hand). So I'm thinking the IDEA of it is fun, but the reality probably isn't for me. I may check out the website though just for sheets & giggles.

Lesa: I've seen those keys in ads, but never in real life! I asked at HD if they had any (or was it Lowes?) and the guy looked at me like I'd sprouted tentacles. I had to spell it out for him... D-i-s-n-e-y K-e-y-s. He still had no idea. Mind you, he was sitting behind a heee-yoooj display of painted keys -- all nascar and sports teams. I pointed to them and said, like this, but with Mickey Mouse and such on them. Still with the tentacle-look, so I gave up. Come to think of it, I think this was the same dude who had never heard of a tea stain by Ralph Lauren, and my mom bought it the next week at the same store, get this -- 2 feet behind the counter where the guy sits!! D'oh! Anyway... I really want one of those keys and now that you reminded me, I think I will make it my Mission of the Week.

Here's my favorite:

And I found one for YM:

And here's the Tink one for Nicole:

Aren't they just too key-yooot! (get it, cute? key? ain't I the clever one? :cutie: )

ETA: Look what I just found out about the Diskeys: "There are 5 new key styles on the way Tink Thimble, Little Mermaid, Buzz and Woody, The Princesses and Mickey and Donald Hockey." Nicole, do you by any chance need TWO keys? (thumb!)

Oh NO!! You must feel terrible. It wasn't your fault, how were you to know the silly old mama bird hid her nest in there? Maybe it's not too late for her to start another ... what would it be? batch? brood? litter? ... of eggs, hopefully in a smarter location, like oh I don't know, maybe a TREE?!?

We just got home about 45 minutes ago. A few weeks ago my mom gave me a newspaper clipping about this Firehouse Dog movie, it was an entry for free tickets to a sneak preview. Well I got the email this morning that we WON! I was excited for about 20 seconds, until I read that they over-emailed on purpose to ensure a full house, so get there early. Oh and by the way, it's at 7:30pm TONITE! :scared1:

So I picked up Lyzzie from Girl Scouts, took her to Lone Star for kids-eat-free night, and off to the movies it was! It worked out great because we were so stuffed from dinner that popcorn was not even an option popcorn:: so it truly was a FREE movie. It was very cute... I'm glad I didn't pay for it because it wasn't really a good movie, but it was funny and cute for the kids, with a little bigger kid humor thrown in (lots of farting dog jokes :scared: ). I'm glad we went, it gave me some much-needed quiet time with my Lyzzie.

Emma is having a sleepover at my mom's house tonight and apparently "made" my folks sing her favorite songs so she could air guitar and air drum. :rockband: I really wish I would have been there to see that! She also corrected their mistaken lyrics and bad dance moves. That girl and her moves!! Last night it was "you can't watch tv, you have to watch me doing my running moves!" while running back & forth on the living room rug. The night before it was "I can't go to bed, I'm still practicing my moves!" I've really got to get her into a dance class! Of course, they'd be at the barre and she'd be the one in back doing air guitar to spice up the classical music a tad.

Well I'm off to bed (no moves for me tonight!). I've got Miss E's non-Plum book, Metro Girl, and I'd really like to try to read more than 4 pages before nodding off. I didn't make it past 4 last night so that's tonight's goal. I can already feel the Ambien doing it's magic - I took a break from it for a couple weeks so it would start working better again, and after all the month-end stuff at work it was either get back on the Ambien or deal with the bald patches I'm creating on the sides of my head from tearing my hair out with frustration. (Today was NOT a great workday. Hey pozey.... how's it looking for an admin at that new job of yours? :rolleyes1 )

Are the rest of you getting the cold weather too? I forgot that about spring... just when it gets nice, BAM! it's winter again. I just bought a lovely couple of skirts at Target and now it's too cold & windy to even contemplate wearing them.

This quick hello turned into a novella! So -- Goodnight my cliqueless Disney computer friends, and have a pleasant tomorrow.

Ok I know I just said goodnight, but I have a P.S. (as Lyzzie would say).

Did any of you Plummers know about this?

Contains The Last Peep
A Stephanie Plum Short Story

Looks like a short story collection by many authors, but I saw it on Miss E.'s website and dang it if there isn't a Plum short story floating around out there that I never heard of! Sounds like an Easter gone awry, Plum-style to me. Must... resist.... urge.... to buy.... immediately!!

Upon further webiste evaluation: Have any of you read any of the books she co-authored? There's a series with "Full" in all the titles and they seem interesting. From the site:
Full House, written under the name Steffie Hall, was originally published in July 1989 for Second Chance at Love. Now not only can you catch a peek of vintage Janet, but Janet and Charlotte have teamed up to continue with the Full House characters in a new and original romantic, adventure series. It's a series for those of you with gentle hearts, adventurous spirits and a slightly warped sense of humor.
Interesting that she called herself Steffie, and then along came Stephanie Plum! It's the last sentence of that quote though that makes me want to check them out. So if any of you have read any of the 'Full' series, I'll need a full report by Friday so I'll know whether to add it to my shopping list for the weekend.

Now Goodnight!! For REAL this time!!

I mean it, I really do.

I'm going...

I'm going...

Good Morning!

Ashley, I sent you a PM.

Donna, those look so yummy; a lot better than the bagel I had from McDonalds.

Lyzziesmom, it sounds like you had a fun evening.

Allears has a few pictures of the Flower and Garden Festival. I am so excited to see it. :yay: I have about 7GB of memory so I plan of taking MANY pictures.

I watched a little bit of AI last night. It's so funny how Simon has just given up with the Sanjaya situation.

They're calling for storms :umbrella: today and then cold weather. Why can't we just have warm, breezy sunny days year round?

Have a great day all!

Good Morning Everyone :)

The maintence guys are coming in our apartment today so I have to be out in the living room to make sure Ruby doesn't attack. :dog:

We had some very loud rain here last night!! I wish the weather wasn't turning cold again :( I was hoping for another nice weekend!!! :sad2:

Who do you guys think is getting voted off Idol tonight?? I would HOPE Phil but I just don't know. Phil or Hayley would be good, because we all know Sanjaya won't be going! (I would be really surprised if he did!!) Personally, I was upset Chris Sligh went before Phil or Hayley did! I just can't help it, Phil creeps me out!! :scared:

Lesa, sorry about the baby eggs :sad1: I didn't want to say anything :rolleyes1 but I just took our Christmas lights :ssst: off the balcony last weekend. Ofcourse I didnt light them since the begining of January but they were still up :rolleyes1

I'm w/you...Phil or Haley! I think Sanjaya is gonna make it through once again, I'd be surprised if he goes too...

We were there last year for the F&G festival!! It was so awesome! I can't wait to see some pix! I think Simon has given up too...or trying reverse psychology on those voting for him:rotfl2: the radio station I listen to in the morning has an intern from India...she's over there now and she is going around asking everyone if they watch AI, if they vote etc...and they're all saying they're voting for Sanjaya and they think he's good:eek: I definitely didn't think he was "incredible":lmao: Our neighbors were over while AI was on, so I didn't really get to watch most of it... I heard some of it though.

Our neighbors sister is in town from Nigeria. They live over there for a church mission... and she needed dental work done so she had to come home. She has 5 kids and the 2 year old was freezing to death here...so I told her to come over b/c I have tons of Kennys clothes still that he could wear. Poor little guy!

You're not talking to yourself Ashley:rotfl:

no, Sanjaya won't be going...
BTW, nice job last night by my two picks, Blake and Melissa!!

Have a great day, everybody!
