I remember the last thing! I think it was Linda that was talking about wanting to take the Panama Canal cruise. My BIL and SIL are going on it. And they are having a lot of fun rubbing it in my face that they are going on this 2 week long Disney cruise next spring. Its making me angry, very, very angry (said in my best Marvin the Martian voice). BUT! Chris and want to go to London next summer so I am going to try not to let it get to me, too much...

Good Morning All!

Ashley, good luck!! I just got off the phone with them (on hold for about 30 minutes). I was able to book a preferred room at POP (09/22-09/29)!!!!! The CM was really nice. He asked if I knew I could stay at any resort, not just values (which then made me want to switch to a mod, but I didn't ask Mike first). I love POP though, so I don't mind. He did say that I was the first person that actually took the free dining. One guy called for AKL deluxe view, but all they had was standard, so he declined!!! Heck, I would have taken the standard room and walked outside to see the animals.

I'm so mad. I called at exactly 6:59 and got through. Was on hold until 7:40 and they hung up on me.

I did change the dates of my ADRs though. I'm using 2 cell phones and got through to dining first. I just changed my dates to accomodate EMH and canceled my other ones so other people could get them.

I'm so mad right now. Still on hold.....

I just got through after an hour and 40 minutes, and they didn't have Pop in a preferred room. So we are booked at All Star Sports. Atleast we got free dining.

That had to have been a stressful situation for Blake. Gary had the same thing happen to him a few years ago with a co-worker. The guy was viewing child porn sites. UGH!!!! Needless to say, the guy got fired!!!

I usually save shower caps that Blake brings home from hotels and use those but we have been doing so much work lately that I ran out. I am such a klutz. I am always leaning into a freshly painted wall.

Well, Blake's ordeal is over...they decided on 1 week unpaid leave for the morons. Now he and the rest of his people need to work harder. And Blake leaves Sunday for England and Germany! So he won't be there to help.

When is the "cliqueless" meet?

We're going 9/13 - 9/18 and I would dearly love to have no crowds, but I guess it wouldn't matter much because I think we're going to mostly hang out at the resort. We'll go to MK on MNSSHP night. Otherwise, I just want to relax and enjoy the Poly pool.

I would love to go then. 9-13 is our 21st anniversary. I would love to go back just the 2 of us. We went for our 15th anniversary but if you do the math you will realize that was right after 9-11! We flew out the first day the airports reopened. A lot of people were surprised we went....I figured that was the safest time to fly!! The parks were literally empty!! I'll have to scan in some pictures later and show you.

That looks amazing!! I want warm weather!!!! I hate how cold it's been. Matt has had baseball practice everyday. And Nick has had track. They come home frozen!

you were right...you quoted Lin but I saw dcl and had to chime in I would LOVE a long dcl cruise too. we have a great friend that is an airline pilot and can get the 14 night to Barcelona for $599 but we can only go if he goes too and he can't go. darn it! 14 nights for $599 is killing me!!!!

What did you guys think of American Idol last night?? Ryan was really annoying me with the Sanjaya remarks. Hello, we all know the kid sucks, he knows everyone thinks he sucks, and you have to continue making those comments and prolonging the results to see if hes safe? "Sanjaya, stand up, no, sit down, we won't read your results yet"

The show just sunk to another level for me

Oh, and I forgot to mention the group singing "Bailamos". I couldn't even listen to it, I seriously think this is the most untalented group AI has ever had. It was actually making my headache worse (thanks for asking DznyFan, its much better now!!!) Lyzziesmom- after you mentioned Chris' bopping up and down thats all I could look at!

Mike said the same thing. She sounded good, but since I didn't know what she was saying I couldn't stick with it. Plus, she did some weird dance thing in the middle of the song.

Ashley, I was just reading that people have been cancelling their reservations at the values and upgrading because of the discount. So, you may want to try back later today/tomorrow and see if you can switch resorts.

(someone said that it takes a day for WDW to show availability due to cancellations).

I know when I went last year, I called all the time to change my reservation before I was finally able to.

Thanks for the tip, Amber!! I do intend on calling back to see if Pop opens up!! I've already stayed at All Star Sports and we liked it, and I got a preferred room so I'm happy about that! I just had my heart set on Pop. We'll see if it works out!!!
