Who here is not in the "clique" like me? Part 4

We are in Clawson...since no one ever knows where that is:rotfl2: It's between Royal Oak and Troy.

Where's Royal Oak and Troy? :lmao: Just kidding. I know where they are - eastern, Detroit-area, right? Nice to meet a fellow Michigander (or damn yankee as I'm called now  )

Linda, don't you still have WDW tickets? If you just bought a one day ticket to qualify for the dining, then you wouldn't be spending that much and you would get to eat at some great places...

...plus, I think no matter which week you pick, one of us will be there.

I'm just saying :) Free food is ALWAYS nice.

Oh, and you could get the castle Mike offered to buy you...

Wait, I'm supposed to talk you out of wanting to go, right? ;)

Pozey, that looks so painful! Poor gal! Shes a trooper though!

Linda, its not a Disney Cruise unfortunately. We are going on Royal Caribbean.

Well, I'm off to work. Later gators!

Pozey: OMG... that poor little girl! I sure hope everything is alright after you see the dentist

Hey Lin - which RCCL cruise are you doing? We sailed on Legend of the Seas in Nov '05, Western Caribbean. It was tons of fun. Also have done the Disney Magic 7-day Eastern Caribbean and loved it.

:lmao: :rotfl2: Too cute! Yeah.... she's in love with Johnny.
I thought so... he tries to copy Johnny:lmao: I think Erin and Johnny would make an adorable couple!

:lmao: :rotfl: yeah!!! Yes, I have tickets and I had thought about just getting the 1 day ticket and everything. I forget what I emailed him but I figured $850 for the 3 of us @pop...great price for a week..but then I read about it being crowded and that totally turned me off..I hate crowds. I'd rather pay value season w/AAA discount or stay at SOG than go when its crowded. I don't like being surrounded by rude people... you get that enough when it isn't crowded ;)

:cloud9: I love to go on cruises too!!! But I've only been on disney so far. RC does look nice though. our last cruise, our table mates were going on and on about RC and how much they loved it.

Amber: you're right about one of us being there each week - it seems like we are all going to just barely miss each other.

DznyFan: your ADRs sound really good! My parents said they want to minimize travel time so we are pretty much limited to eating in the parks. I also don't like to spend hours on WDW transportation going here & there just to eat, but it's not really a big deal if you can time it right. Which reminds me... I think if I change Chef Mickey's to breakfast, I can solve my Dining Dilemma! I'll have to work on it tomorrow. My mom requested that we eat a few buffets because she likes the casualness and everyone can get what they like. My dad likes the fancier, more expensive places because he feels like he's getting more of a good deal if he eats steak for free than if he eats salad & chicken for free. Mom loved HDDR and wants to do more dinner shows. Dad loved Marrakesh and wants more "unique experiences." But of course, it's all up to me because they don't care where we eat!! For now, our ADRs are: Biergarten, CRT, Spirit of Aloha Luau, Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier, Hollywood & Vine, and Marrakesh. So far everyone seems happy. My brother & his GF are going for free, so they don't get a say in the planning (and also they don't answer their phone or listen to messages, so I'm not waiting around to hear their input!)

Oh, and who isn't in love with Johnny? The man is adorable! I saw him on some talk show on CNN and he was just so charming. The show he did at MGM last year was very entertaining, even my parents enjoyed themselves and they had no idea who he was. I can't wait until Disney releases the Playhouse Disney concert schedule, I hope someone good is there during our stay. I may have to rearrange all those ADRs, oh nooo!!

I FINALLY got those girls to bed... they were really fighting it tonight! One of them gets crabby and it's like they feed off each other's moods. I really wish I had a bottle of wine to just kick back with - I'd be asleep in 20 minutes! I'm off to see who's going home on AI. I hope it's Phil, I just don't like that guy. Chris really irritates me too, the guy is so nasal and BOUNCY - ew. I'm really starting to like Jordin a lot, the girl is just so darn cute.

Oops... I thought it was you who said they were going on a cruise. It was linzybrooke - my bad!

Yeah, the DCL rocks!!!:thumbsup2 Would love to go back. We sailed March 2001. My kids were 6 and 5 at the time. I'd just die to do one of those long ones - like the Panama Canal. But it's just obscene how much money they want :sad2:

Mike didn't know who Akon was:lmao:

I don't know who Akon is. Was? I can be so clueless sometimes.

Linda darling... are you thinking free dining is going to be crowded? Let me tell you, our little Cliqueless meet was three times more crowded than Labor Day week the last two years, combined! Seriously, my dad even said it was creepy that the parks were so empty. I think the end of Sept/beginning of Oct picks up a little, and those last couple weeks of August are still busy, but after Labor Day it is just D-E-A-D.. .and I wouldn't have it any other way. We rode Star Tours first thing in the morning, all by ourselves! Dad kept thinking it wasn't really open yet. There were only about 200 people at rope drop at MGM. For me and the girls with one-day tickets (Emma will no longer be free since she'll be three) for 10 days at ASMu the free dining package came to about $1024.00, I don't have the exact number in front of me. I'm just sayin'. ;)

lyzziesmom...you'll have to let me know how you like the luau!! ok, you'll have to tell us about them all...everyone going will ;) I thought Kenny would like the luau too. I haven't done HDDR in 10 years:rolleyes1 man I wish I would have bought dvc back then:sad2: ohhh AI is back on

When is the "cliqueless" meet?

We're going 9/13 - 9/18 and I would dearly love to have no crowds, but I guess it wouldn't matter much because I think we're going to mostly hang out at the resort. We'll go to MK on MNSSHP night. Otherwise, I just want to relax and enjoy the Poly pool.

you were right...you quoted Lin but I saw dcl and had to chime in:rolleyes1 :rotfl2: I would LOVE a long dcl cruise too. we have a great friend that is an airline pilot and can get the 14 night to Barcelona for $599:eek: but we can only go if he goes too and he can't go. darn it! 14 nights for $599 is killing me!!!!

The morning show I listen to play him all the time! they interviewed him a few weeks ago and did the "smack that" on the radio girl and smacked her hiney...it was hilarious...she let out a yelp like it killed her:rotfl: it was funny!!!

wait a minute...its NOT crowded.... seriously.... ok...then we're going! I read somewhere it was really crowded... oh man...I could have booked it early w/my disney visa too... ok, I gotta talk to Mike... what days are you going again???

yay...Haley is heading home:cool1:

Ok...its way past my bedtime...

Lyzziesmom, Your ADR's look great!! I am starting to get nervous about mine. I want to eat at all the places I chose (Boma being the only one I'm nervous about...and the only one I've never tried..) But when I made mine, I just chose which restaurants I wanted and random days. I don't think that was very smart because I didn't account for EMH.:confused3 And I don't like that my first 'official' day at Magic Kingdom is days after I arrive!! Even though i could go there Sat the 15th at night. I really want to see Wishes! Here's what I have right now:
sept14 nine dragons dinner 8:00
sept15 coral reef lunch 1:30
sept16 sci fi diner lunch 1:30
sept17 boma dinner 7:00
sept18 'ohana dinner 7:00
sept19 planet hollywood dinner 7:00
sept20 le cellier 1:30
What do you think?? I know you are the itinerary master ;) I saw that laminated spread sheet you had at the cliqueless meet:laughing: A girl after my own heart!! I don't know what to think about ex DBF. Maybe he is thinking of what he is missing out on. You are a wonderful person and have 2 wonderful daughters, I'm sure he is regretting his actions!

DznyFan, your ADRs look great too!! And lucky duck, getting DH's company to pay for one of the dinners!!:)

Linda, Kenny is so cute!!:goodvibes I just cant get over it. It looks like he had a great Easter and he is enjoying his new bike!!! Butter up Mike, and then come to Disney the week I am!! I'm just sayin :rolleyes1 We would have a blast!!

We went to Don Pablo's for dinner tonight but I didn't really enjoy my dinner because I got a horrible headache. I'm off to take a bath now and I hope it goes away:rolleyes1

yikes YM... yeah, no guns are good!!!

Yeah, I've been meaning to post a few pix:rolleyes1 he is always showing off wanting me to take pix;)

time to go:woohoo: have a great evening everybody! 5:00 finally!!

Linda...great pictures of Kenny! I started to ask what the Nike was then I saw it was a shirt and he had it on!

Hi, everyone!!

YourMajesty:: I'm proud that you went to a body sculpt class. Sounds like the sub was a little Hitler!!! YIKES!!! I hope you didn't eat jelly donuts before the class!!! (just kidding, Queenie;) )
It's very windy here today. It's trash day and everyones' trash cans were blown all over the place!!

Congrats to all of you with trips in the planning!!! I'm so jealous!!! Do not pick up the phone, Donna. Do not pick up the phone...

Well to be specific I had stawberries and coffee with half n half...the coffee was giving me major heart burn...it was so miserable. I told my DH the lady was just giving herself a workout...not really even considering the needs of the class. Thank goodness I wasn't the only one who couldn't finish.:headache:

It's a rather blustery day! OMG, that just figures, the cop stuck... but how scary! Did you want to stay and watch?

Nicole - I too was bored stiff last night.

Thanks for the pixiedust, guys!

Ok DznyFan and Pozey....that guy ran across 169 near the I-44 (interchange)....a few minutes after I passed the police shot and killed him.  DznyFan...I had to slow down because of the cars stopping in front of me. I watched him run across the southbound lanes of 169 and down the exit area for I-44. I could see tons of police lights in my rear view mirror...that's all I saw. The first thing I looked for was a gun in his hand and did not see one. I guess he didn't have a gun when they shot him. There are still 2 on the loose and they were wanted for robbery (and pistol whipping their victims). OH...about the wind...50mph gust...no wonder my car was getting whipped around.

Ok...now back to trip planning and dining ADR's.popcorn::

Evening all!

Mirthmaiden, I'm glad I'm not the only yankee living in the south being called a Damn Yankee all the time... My inlaws are taking my DH, myself and my BIL/SIL on a cruise now that both their boys are "Married off". We are sailing on the Mariner on June 10th. We did a Disney land and Sea for our Honeymoon and I can't stand that we aren't sailing Disney this time, but we are sailing the 7 night RCL for what the 3 night DCL costs, so...

So, you're an aspiring novelist, eh? Feel free to try your stories out on us anytime!!!!!

YM, thats a scary situation!

Lyzziesmom, men are so wierd...girl, I don't know what to think about EXBF.

Nicole, I mean Ashley, hehehe. Your ADR's are making my really, really hungry...

Linda, the Ben and Jerry's card will be perfect, my FIL lives on Ice Cream. And the underwater camera! What would I do without you.

I know I had something else to say, but I don't remember!!!!!

Night ladies and gents!

Thats right! We had a cliqueless meet in February, (I didn't go) and are planning one tentatively for October of 2008.

I remember the last thing! I think it was Linda that was talking about wanting to take the Panama Canal cruise. My BIL and SIL are going on it. And they are having a lot of fun rubbing it in my face that they are going on this 2 week long Disney cruise next spring. Its making me angry, very, very angry (said in my best Marvin the Martian voice). BUT! Chris and want to go to London next summer so I am going to try not to let it get to me, too much...

Since I plan to be teaching I guess that won't work for me. :sad1: Oh well, I guess I'll have to remain cliqueless
