HI everyone!! I am exhausted...I just got back from going to 2 Wal-Marts. Neither of them had the 'Micken' sweater. It makes me mad because I was there just last week and they had it.....I have one more Wal-Mart to go to that I will try tomorrow....wish me luck!!

I also got film, toiletries, etc. I am so so so excited!!!!

APRIL!!! Sugar plum!!!! :teeth: Thank You so much for calling Southwest and talking to George for me. I feel much better now!!! You are the best!!

Donna!!!!! I've been waiting to talk to you ALL DAY!!! Where have you been, Missy?? I get it, I get it, you have a life besides us. :worried: ;) Can't wait to see you Friday!!!!!!

Tiny little bump I realized tonight: I have a credit card that I have some money on, that I never use. I wanted to bring it on the trip "just in case". Well I just looked at the card tonight and it turns out its expired. It expired in November. The mailing address for that card is my Mom's, I never bothered to change it and apparently she didn't notice another card came since she doesn't open my mail. She can't find it anywhere so I guess I'm out of luck.

We also went to Dick's Sporting Goods tonight to get some Body Glide. I use it for my feet when I'm at WDW and it works wonderfully. Well we get there and the sales girl says "No, We don't have any." :bitelip: I asked her if she knew of any other place we could purchase it, and she said no. Well we turn around after she leaves and there it was. :sad2: :sad2: DUH!!!

Ash... I can't wait until we're all at WDW together!!! POR is really close to POFQ, and I'm sure you'll be with some of us most of the time!!
I hear a special plane is waiting to whisk you to Orlando, young lady.pixiedust:

That's too bad about the credit card.
I'm glad you found your Body Glide, I think 2x2s was looking for that, too. I may have to try some. I usually try to remember bandaids just in case.

Yay!!! I can't wait.

2x (or anybody else that needs it and can't find it)- Do you want me to pick up some Body Glide? It would be no trouble, I have to go to that plaza again before I leave anyway to get some dog food (PetsMart is in that plaza). Just let me know chickie!!!!

I'm getting kind of stressed because there is so much I needed/wanted to do and my time is running out. What with MIL's move and our nephew coming to visit, the time I'd scheduled to do things is kind of messed up, to say the least. Don't you all just love to hear my whining!!! :charac2:

Linda:: Have a safe trip tomorrow!! I'll be thinking of you, Mike and Kenny leaving for our World!!! See you on Friday; probably around 8pm!!:wave2:

I had better call it a night. See you all at breakfast!!!

Night Donna!! Don't worry, everything will get done!

Have a safe trip, Linda, Kenny & Mike!!! Don't forget to wear your seatbelts. :teeth:

Ashley, you ought to get some thermacare wraps for your knee just in case. They work wonders for mine when they get really stiff. And take some empty gallon sized ziplocks to fill with ice at the food court if you have a hard day!!! I consider myself a knee pain expert and thats my 411!!!

Linda, Mike and Kenny, have a safe trip tomorrow!!!!

Those of you that have 3 days 'till you're off to the "Woild" are just going to up and leave me! :( Who is going to serve breakfast, and entertain me? :worried: You're going to have to send me some mental pixiedust:to keep me going.

Good morning, Crew!! I believe Linda and her family are leaving today!!! Don't forget to have some breakfast first, Linda!!! A donut sugar rush is just what you'll need for a long day of driving!!!:drive: Let's all join her and wish her a safe trip!!!:goodvibes

I hope you all have a Pixie Dust Tuesday!!

This is for you sewer!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!

Lesa, sorry about your hair. The same thing happened to me before. I wanted it dyed red, but my mom (I was about 15 at the time) said no. She wanted highlights. When it was done, the whole top of my head was blonde and underneath was brown. It look horrible. I refused to go to school the next day. So, I went back and they dyed it red. It turned out great. Since part of my hair was blonde, the red was lighter there and it looked natural (no flat all over color).

Oh, and the smilies did move again.

Lin, :grouphug: The Disney Store just isn't the same anymore. Hopefully, you can find something new and improved. I took a pay cut to work when I am now and I love it. If you can afford a bit of a paycut, then you might want to consider working elsewhere- for your mental health. pixiedust:

2x2s (and others with picture phobia), I also hate having my picture taken, but I figure I want to have the memories, so I get over it. My mom hates having her picture taken and I hardly have any photos of her. It makes me sad. Instead of focusing on YOU in the picture, look at what is happening in the picture. Meeting new people, having a great dinner, whatever. The picture becomes less of "I look bad" and more about "We/I were having a great time".

Sewer, I'll still be here and so will a few others. We'll keep each other sane while those mean people go off to WDW without us. ;)

Everyone have a great day!!!

Good Morning everyone----

I'm off to start some errands again this morning before heading off to work. I agree with Donna----so little time left and still so much to do. What gets done will get done.

Thanks for the donuts, Donna!!!! They will come in handy with the "grab-n-go" mode I'm in today.
Enjoy your lasagna---I'm sure it will be delicious---sure sounds like it!!!!

Ash----I am getting so excited seeing that you are so excited!!!!!! I still can't believe Jeremiah did this for you----what a sweetie!!!!!

I found Body Glide and got an extra in case anyone needs it. (thanks Ash)

And I got lots of $1 ponchos, again, in case anyone needs them. (thanks Lyzziesmom)

Sewer----Linda, Mike and Kenny are leaving today-----you're not very far are you??

Amber---you make an excellent point about photos being memories, not just about the specific person. I hope everyone understands, however, that my situation is much more serious than just "how I look".
More than the issue of having photos taken, but the issue of posting them publicly is what stresses me. Maybe if group photos are sent through PM's just to our "cliqueless"?????

Hi to everyone!!!

Have a good day.

LINDA, MIKE AND KENNY-----be safe and "call" us when you get there.
;) ;) See ya Friday!!!!

Oooh, Donna thanks for the Donuts! Krispy Kremes, no less!

Show this to Erin:

See how his shirt pulled up a little from his pants? Yeah she'll like that. ;)

We had GREAT seats at MGM last year. I wasn't even zooming in!

:lmao: I was laughing so hard when I read your post!! I will forward these to her! :thumbsup2

:offtopic: Today is turning out to be a crappy day all around. First my hair, now I have received 2 phone calls tonight from one of Brittany's friends mom. Apparently the group of friends they hang around have been mean to her daughter and since Brittany and her are supposably best friends she is upset Brittany didn't stick up for her. The other girls are mad at this girl because she won't keep secrets, is hyper, tells boys the girls like them when they don't. You know, 12 year old girl stuff. Brittany is always being put in the middle and made to choose. Well this mother is accusing Brittany of being a bad friend. It doesn't matter that her daughter has called Brittany stupid, ugly, told her to get her own friends you name it. Again 12 year old girl stuff! This went on for 20 minutes and all I could say was I'm sorry, I don't know what else to say. :confused3 They're 12, they'll figure it out! What does she want me to do? I know Brittany hasn't been so innocent in this, but dang should I beat her for not being a "best" friend. Ugh!!!!!!!!!! The kicker is David and I are "friends" with the parents and David was suppose to go over there for the Superbowl, but now he's like "I guess I have to figure out something else to do for the Superbowl!" :rolleyes2
Lesa... 12 year old girls - such is the nature of the beast. It sounds to me like you've got a good handle on it, and attitude about it - they're 12 years old, they need to work it out themselves - not have mom come running to the rescue when they get in a spat and the other one is whining about it!! Not that I'm any expert, but it hasn't been that long ago since I took that ride - girls are evil, cruel little monsters at that age. And if you've got one that's got mom or dad buffaloed into believing everything and fighting 'her' fights - well, that just makes it worse! I agree, you are in a difficult position being friends with the other girl's parents, but this is just the way young teenage girls ARE! And it's not going to stop any time soon, unfortunately. I hope it works out eventually for you, Brittany, and her friend - it just may take some time, and some bumps in the road along the way. Good Luck!

Those of you that have 3 days 'till you're off to the "Woild" are just going to up and leave me! :( Who is going to serve breakfast, and entertain me? :worried: You're going to have to send me some mental pixiedust:to keep me going.
Now, sewer, stop whining. ;) We've been over this - not everyone is going, and breakfast will be served. It may not be as busy as usual around here, but some of us will be hanging out.

Which reminds me - are any of you taking a laptop so you might have some opportunity to check in now and then?

Yolanda, where are we going today?

Thanks for the donuts Donna!

Have a safe trip Linda, Mike and Kenny! See ya soon!:drive:

O.k. I know I'm whining a lot but my hair looks and feels just awful. David was so helpful in telling me that he thinks I should go back because it doesn't look all that good! Not only is it glowing blond, when I pull it back she left my roots showing all around my face and uneven at that!:furious: So now I have to take more time to go in and have it fixed today. :(

I got another call from the mother last night letting me know that she had talked to her daughter and she didn't do any of the stuff Brittany said she did.:furious: They moved the darn smilies again! I just don't need to deal with their drama, I have enough of my own. They're 12 let them figure it out!:rolleyes2

O.k. I'm done whining!:teeth:

Have a great day!
Florida always forecasts rain. I don't think I have ever seen one that didn't include rain. I'm going to find ponchos just in case!:thumbsup2 We all need to think sunny thoughts!:beach:

Sewer....For you pixiedust:

I completely understand not wanting the photos posted publicly (notice I don't have any photos of myself here).

Good morning everyone--

Linda-- have a great, and safe trip!!!!

Sewer-- I'll be here, I'm not sure I can meet the entertaining expectation though ;)

Let's see, someone asked me where we are going today... How about here...

It's in Haiti. An old church ruins.

Well, gotto go feed my youngster. Have a great day!

Well, of course she didn't!!! :rolleyes1 (been there, done that) I'm sure her daughter is just perfect! (every one else's daughters are little heathens) Hang in there!

Can you call the girl that regularly does your hair and explain what happened? See what she can do?

Good Morning!

Thanks for the donuts Donna!

Lesa- I can't believe that mom thinks her daughter is a "precious angel"!!! Just give it some time. Hopefully that girl and her mom will get over it.

Bye Linda, Mike and Kenny!!!! Have a great time!!!

Yay!!! I can't wait.

If you're going to be there anyway... I'd like some Body Glide. I really could have used it last time with all the chafing! It's now my biggest fear - chafing at WDW.

I found Body Glide and got an extra in case anyone needs it. (thanks Ash)

And I got lots of $1 ponchos, again, in case anyone needs them. (thanks Lyzziesmom)

If Ashley doesn't make it to the store to get the Body Glide, I'll take that extra one. It looks like we will have no shortage of ponchos! My mom said I should offer to sell the extras for $3.00 - less than 1/2 price of official Mickey ponchos, but more than 3x what I paid for them. :lmao: That's mom, always thinking about the almighty dollar.

Don't worry luv, if I do happen to accidentally get you in any photos I will take care not to post them, I know it's a sensitive subject for a lot of people. I think it's an excellent idea to just PM any group photos to those in our little crew who ask for them. I know even though I have posted pictures of myself publicly, I am VERY picky about which ones get posted - usually I crop myself out first.

Florida always forecasts rain. I don't think I have ever seen one that didn't include rain. I'm going to find ponchos just in case!:thumbsup2 We all need to think sunny thoughts!:beach:

I don't worry too much about the rain, it usually doesn't last long. Remember, I used to live in Orlando so I'm familiar with FL rain. Last year by the time I ducked under cover and got my poncho straightened out & put on, the rain had stopped!

Good luck getting your hair fixed. I'm sure whatever they can do with it will be better, even if it's not exactly what you wanted. The good thing is, it's only hair and it will grow out eventually.

12 year old girls.... I am SO not looking forward to those years. I remember my "friends" playing some awful pranks on me at that age. I wish I'd had the good sense to just quit hanging around them, but good sense didn't kick in until... well I'll let you know when it does. I keep telling Lyzzie that she is not allowed to have any friends over between the ages of 10 and 25. I love MY kids, but not so fond of others' kids a lot of the time, especially the ones who "can do no wrong." Hello, they are KIDS... they are ALWAYS up to something! It's the nature of the beast.

Only THREE MORE DAYS!! I have so much to do, and so little time or energy. I seem to be missing a bunch of stuff that I usually keep in the suitcase for travel - I think my mom went into a cleaning frenzy one day & doesn't understand that there are things I KEEP IN the suitcase, she thinks I'm just lazy & didn't unpack. So now I have to locate the extra binkys, the stroller cover, the bandaids, the ponchos left over from last time, the extra sunglasses, etc. I have no idea where to even start looking!!

All that and I forgot to say... Bon Voyage Linda Mike & Kenny!! We'll see you soon!

And Donna, those donuts really hit the spot. As Homer Simpson would say, Mmmmmmmmm.... donuts.

So……I know some of you are getting ready to leave for Disney in the next few days. I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL time!! I hope everyone has safe and hassle-free travels as well. And HAVE FUN!! Bring me back a souvenir!! :cool1:
