Did you know?.....

that the Grand Floridian will not ship the Peppermint Bark it makes and sells in it's little gingerbread house during the holiday season? I just got off the phone with the head of their Food & Beverage dept at GF, and was considering purchasing about 150# of the stuff as our gifts for our commercial tenants. It's the best Peppermint Bark I've ever had! I can't even order a bag for myself! Oh well, thankfully there's a place by my house that makes it - it's just not quite as good.

I have not had this, but it sounds delicious! I know they are pretty picky about shipping food, many times they won't even deliver it from a park to a resort for package pick-up. Too bad for them, since you were going to buy so much of it!!

Hi everyone

Well I didn't wake up to the best circumstances today. Jeremiah was supposed to be coming home early so I can go to the eye doctor (which I've been dreading). Well he calls to wake me up & says, "I don't have good news."

His aunt (the person who raised him, and the MIL from hell, I've talked about her on here before ) decided she wants to drive up TOMORROW from Florida and get his old car thats been sitting in the parking lot for 3 months and TOW IT back home to Florida. The tow truck would cost $500 alone. The car isn't even worth but $800, maybe because it is broken down and not running correctly. She would be driving up with his 80 year old Grandfather (who has been in 4 accidents this year alone due to falling alseep at the wheel because he works everynight from 9pm-7 am at the gas station and gets about 3 hours of sleep a day) and then he would drive her car back down while she gets the tow truck down.

I don't know if you guys noticed but I'm alittle nutty and I like to have advance notice when I find out someone is driving 1500 miles to come here!! She is being very nasty to Jeremiah on the phone because he told her he doesn't feel comfortable with his Grandfather driving 1500 miles and I'm seriously about to punch this woman in the street if I see her. I am so sick of her being so mentally abusive. She needs help, I am not kidding and my mom keeps telling me to 'kill her with kindness' but I DONT WANT TO.

ANYWAY so there goes my relaxing weekend, because I have to clean the house. It looks good for regular visitors, but this woman is the spawn of satan and she criticizes every.single.thing.

SO. I didn't get to go to the eye doctor because I'm dealing with this stupid crap. They should be here by Sunday afternoon. I just know they will want to stay and dilly-dally and go out to eat and blah blah blah. I just can't get over how STUPID she is that she wants to spend more money on gas and a tow truck and repairs to fix this car, more money then its worth. I keep telling Jeremiah to tell her NO because its HIS car in HIS name but he wont do anything because I guess he feels obligated to her since she helped him in the past.

ANYWAY. Thanks for letting me vent!!!

Darn Ashely...that's stinky news. Sorry about you weekend and the fact that you couldn't keep your eye appt. Are you having any eye problems or were you due for a check up? I do agree with you that it's a long trip for an 80 year old man. Hang in there sista.

Have you been to any of the centennial stuff around town? We are acutally in Owasso and the other two are out south. We haven't been to any...I think tomorrow night is a laser light show and parade in downtown Tulsa.
