Have you been to any of the centennial stuff around town? We are acutally in Owasso and the other two are out south. We haven't been to any...I think tomorrow night is a laser light show and parade in downtown Tulsa.

No, I am embarassed to say that I didn't even realize that anything was going on until I saw the news tonight.

YM- My eyes have been hurting alittle, but nothing major. I think they just may be strained from being on the computer all the time!!! The main reason I wanted to go was because Ruby got ahold of my glasses and chewed them up. You can't tell when I'm wearing them but its been annoying me. It can wait, I just hate going to the eye doctor because of the air puff test they do! and I wanted to get it over with.

Good night Ashley...Sophie took my glasses one morning but I tracked her down...blind and all. She kind of sat there like she was just wanting me to come take them back. I got lucky on that one. Good luck with the "puff" test...that does feel wierd. I had to cancel my physical therapy for tonight...my mom and dad invited us to dinner. I thought dinner sounded better than physical therapy. Plus, they treated.

Stephanie....the other regulars are BA folks....we live very close to the Owasso high school...the fireworks catch me off guard every home game...don't ask me why we don't go. Something to do with me and my 6 year old being party poopers. I really would have liked to watch the BA band perform it's winning number tonight. I bet that was wonderful. I didn't know about that one either until the news.

Oh, cool! They are in my area. I only go to DD's games.....she is on the pom squad. And we went to the Union/ Jenks game. It was fun, but crowded!

It's amazing how "big" football is! My DS didn't play football but the third grade team practiced four nights a week. I think the cheerleaders practiced just as much....or more!

Well, I think you might have outlasted us all..if you are still up. I'm turning into a pumpkin as usual...always poop out by 12 if not sooner. Nice chatting with you...please stop by again. It's fun to chat about the local stuff...like the wind the other day...etc. Maybe we should have a local dis meet and take our picture by the Golden Driller so everyone can see our claim to fame.

Do you believe I fell asleep at the screen last night?? And it was early!!!! Not a good hoot here.

I had an exhausting day yesterday, so I think I needed it. I went to work and was booked solid from 7-2. I was running late and trying to play catch-up so I didn't get out until a bit later. Not too bad, though. I had a successful day at work.

I was, during this time, an emotional wreck, however. I did my best to keep smiling, but inside my mind was boggling. Not only feeling extremely icky myself right now, my mom left a message for me at work saying that my nephew Luca---the 10 month old, was in the hospital. What???????? Evidentally late Thursday afternoon he started throwing up and my sister didn't like his coloring at all. Then he must have laid down and was like a ragdoll, she said. How scary!!!! She rushed him in and they admitted him. They put in an IV but started running all kinds of tests---including CT on his head because of a minor fall he took earlier. They didn't know if it was caused by that or a virus, or what. The strange thing is -----every single test they administered came back normal, which is great, but they still don't know what caused him to get so sick like this. They released him last night, but I am sure my sister slept with one eye opened, if even that. My BIL was out of town but took an earlier flight home yesterday afternoon. She is by herself with the three kids during the week while he is in Florida. This is when I wonder if it would have been beneficial for her if they would have went ahead and moved as planned. I really worry about her.

Anyway, I need to call this morning to make sure all is okay. Poor little guy.

Oh my, 2x2s. I hope little Luca is doing better today. I would have been frantic myself!! You can never be too careful, your Sis did the right thing by taking him to the hospital. ...to Luca from me.

When Nathan was 10 days old, he started coughing and then just went limp like Luca. Scared me to death. It was about 8:30pm and I made DH take us to the hospital. I guess he was just sleeping, but he was conjested. Really scary nonetheless.

Got to run and get ready for my day!!! Hope eveything is okay!!

Wow. look at all the Okies! My mom and dad lived in OKC for 3 years when I was in college and I have friends and family there. Really neat people

2x- hope Luca is doing better. I hate it when kids are sick!

Well, we have my sons karate graduation this morning and then my BIL & his family are coming over tonight. They are going to DL next week and they are coming over so that I can help them do a little planning to make it special for their two princesses

Maybe I can get a little scrapbooking done today. We'll see. I've also gotta get cookie ingrediants today. Next week is when my son and I bake all our cookies to give away to teachers, neighbors and such. I think last year we (mostly me because DS gets bored by about batch number 2) made around 500 cookies. I send them to my DHs work as well. It's always fun and gets me ready for Christmas. Luckily I have a recipe from my MIL that makes around 100 roll out cookies in one batch.
