Hi Cliqueless Crew!!
I see it's been a slow night on our little thread.
We managed to get some Trick or Treating done in my mother's neighborhood. The wind was chilly and was getting much colder by the time we were done!! Afterwards we went to Mom's house and ordered pizza. Came home to some last-minute house cleaning and finished watching the World Series.!! YEAH CARDS!!!

DH called this evening. He and His sister made it to Winslow, AZ. They hope to make it to Oklahoma tomorrow evening.

Lesa:: Pooped out on me last night, did ya'? With all the sleep you haven't been getting, I'm not surprised you fell asleep at the computer. Hope you girls get to feeling better real soon!!!
Trick or Treat in our town is from 6pm to 8pm.

Amber:: How sweet of DDad to get you a lawn mower for Christmas!!! That's some $$ you will be able to save!!

Linda:: Oh, poor Kenny. Hope he licks that bug really soon!!!
I really want the Mickey and Minnie denim shirt from Disneyshopping, haven't ordered it yet though.

I don't think the weekend Trick or Treating is an Illinois thing. There are some nearby communities that actually celebrate Halloween on Halloween Day!! Nathan dressed as Jason Vorhees from Friday the 13th. My little slasher DS!!!

I Googled Betty Rubble a while back....I didn't realize Fred and Betty had a thing for each other.

That's what I did last night...had to go back and reread my post to make sure I finished typing and sent. I actually took two tylenol pm's...might do it again tonight.... The sinus preesure is killing me.

Dznyfan, I was on the Wonder December 5-9th I think. We were at the Poly on the first leg of a land/sea starting on December 1st. It was the BEST!

Lets see, I'm working all weekend, but Chris gets home tomorrow morning and I don't have to go in until 6. Yippee!

Good bright (well not really bright ) and cheery (well not so cheery, it is 7:00 on a Saturday morning ) Morning!

I had to take Madison to the ER yesterday afternoon. She just was not getting any better and her pediatricians office said there was nothing more they could do. They gave her back to back breathing treatments with oxygen and put her on an antibiotic for pneumonia (which her dr. should have done) She sounds a little better, but obviously not sleeping better.

Michele.....I got the same turkey. When I opened it Madison was like who would send you a turkey through the mail. By the way, are you coming for Thanksgiving? I have it all covered! Madison and I were playing with the dry ice. She is being a witch for Halloween and she has a Calderon to put her candy in, so we made witches brew.

I had to laugh out loud that you had your laptop on the couch. DH has his when he's in the recliner!!! Needless to say, snoring with a computer on his lap is kind of a joke between Nathan and I!!!


Nathan and I have to be at the St. Louis airport to pick up MIL at 1:28pm.(It's about a 1 1/2 hour drive.) I would like to leave a little early so I can go to the Fall Craft Fair at the Rec Center here in town. They always have really neat holiday decorations and sometimes some cute things for holiday gifts!!

I would be interested in the Christmas Card exchange, also. Somebody will have to explain it to me. Is it just sending card to one another? I think I can handle that!!!

Well, I need to get in the shower and do the last minute tidying. BTW.. I bought 2 new wicker baskets to fit under my storage table!!! They look great and cleared all this junk off my kitchen bar!!!! Gee, without you guys I would still be a cluttered mess!!!

Donna, those pastries look sooooo good! I was sitting here munching my granola and looking at the picture, and I swear the granola started to taste like a cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I finally figured out what to wear for Halloween! I have a costume party tonight and there is a costume contest at work with some decent prizes (gift cards for the movie theater) so I was wracking my brain for ideas, when it suddenly hit me: I have a complete bridal outfit that I will never wear again. So a friend from work and I are going to be trailer-park brides. She is going to wear cowboy boots & a cowboy hat w/her old wedding dress, and attach a veil to the hat, with a wig that is braided in two pigtails. I am going to wear high leopard-print heels, a long blonde wig, and carry a baby (doll of course) and have my red brastraps showing through the (now too-tight) wedding dress. It'll be freakin' hilarious! We tried to convince a co-worker to dress as Jerry Springer, but it was a no-go.

Lesa...thanks for the HOT coffee...just how I like it. Poor Madison...sounds like they missed the pnuemonia. I think I would be a little mad that the ped just gave up like that and sent you to the ER...don't they have chest xrays and such at the ped?.. Hopefully she will turn the corner with the antibiotics and start to feel better. What a long week you've had.

Lyzziesmom...congrats on the new job. Good luck with the costume contest....you will need to share a picture....I couldn't do it...not much brave in this girl

Good Morning...well almost afternoon.

First thing... Congrats Cardinals!!! The best team won and that's the way it should be!!

We are getting ready to go to the HS football game. Of course it is cold, rainy and windy here. I don't know if anyone remembers but thru 8th grade Matt played most of his sports for the local Catholic school. As long as you are parishoners you can play even if you don't go to the school. Most of his friends from Guardian Angels went on to Bishop Foley HS. They played their playoff game last night and beat a team that they were not expected to, so maybe that bodes well for us, since we aren't supposed to win today Wish us luck!!

Blake got home from Baltimore safely last night, so I finally got a good nights sleep. Then he told me that he has booked his trip to Australia. He will leave the Sunday after Thanksgiving 11-25 and come home on 12-3. He is not looking forward to the flight! I think I will have him pick up a lot of Christmas gifts there.

Speaking of gifts...Lesa, did you notice that I gave you the wrong receipts for the girls b-day gifts? I pulled them out of the wrong pocket...I gave you the ones that Sandy had just given me for Matt's gifts
No I'm not planning on coming for Thanksgiving. We will spend it with Blake's family Lucky me...maybe I'll be sick

I found out the other day that Blake's sister's XH is dating the town tramp I've mentioned her before...she's the one who got kicked out of a trailer park because of her behavior!! It's all too disgusting.

I am going to book my flight for our Feb trip today. I'm so excited!!

Lyzziesmom...I love the costume idea. We are going to a Halloween party tonight but I'm not dressing up. When we were first married we went to one and I loved my costume. I wore 2 white garbage bags, one as a top and one as a super short skirt. I teased my hair all out and wore garish makeup and used the twist ties as jewelry....I was Cheap White Trash

I'm all over the Christmas card exchange but like some others, I will need to have it explained to me. Do we send to everyone, or draw names?

I have to bring our pumpkins in from the porch so they can warm up before I stick my hands in there to clean them out!
