I also had a search mishap the other day. My boss sent me an email that contained the phrase "I've been working my butt off..." so I thought I'd cheer her up with a cute little graphic I remember seeing about somebody working their butt off.

here are a couple pics my DH took last weekend. It's not trimmed out yet, so there's no skirt. We plan on blocking the base in instead of skirting eventually, and putting up a stone facade.

Oh how I would love a day to lounge around, DznyFan!! However, I would not want to have to go through all the crapola you have been dealing with in order to need said lounging day. I'm sure you'll get it all worked out. Just think, you'll be lounging at the lake before you know it!

I'm so excited!!!
I finally found the link to Kennys school. I wanted to read about their absence policy before booking any vacations family vacations are excused !!!! I called them last year and they said at his age they really don't care... I care of coarse but come on ..he's in Kindergarten... if he were struggling or something I would feel differently but for now...I'm not worried. HS will be a different story...

I'll probably book our trip this weekend!!
3 nights wdw/4 night cruise!! I can't wait!! Mike said..why not 7 night cruise...um...b/c they leave on Saturdays...but I like that kind of thinkin'

Thanks Amber I'm so excited!! We haven't been on a cruise since Dec04!!! I've GOT to see all the new upgrades they've done!!! Plus Mike just can't do all the walking that is required at wdw. The cruise will be perfect!! A taste of both Now to keep it a secret from Kenny..that will be tough!

Linda, where are you getting your DCL rates? I looked on the disney cruise website and even under special offers, the best I could get for the 3 of us (Lyzzie Emma and myself, because of couse I'd have to bring Lyzzie IF I was to do the cruise) is 2230.89. And that's too much, after you add in airfare & all the extras.

They offered me the same pay as I'm getting now, but with the extra week vacation and a review in 6 months. I haven't accepted yet, I told her I'll call back later today. Aaaacckkkkk!!! This is a tough decision!

Linda, great news on your cruise! Where you on the Wonder in December of 2004? Thats when we were on it for our Honeymoon. My inlaws are taking us on a 7 night cruise next summer. I really wanted to sail with Disney but they are in Europe next summer so we are going Royal Caribbean. I'm bummed.

Pozey, the recruiter is for Disney. She used to handle all transfers from Disney Store to WDW when we were one company. Now she just sets us up for interviews. She only deals with part-time and hourly employees like characters, etc. but wants me to get her my resume so she can make suggestions and pass it onto the correct department. We aren't looking to move until July but getting it out early will hopefully help me get a full-time, decent paying position with them in either retail management or merchandising.

Those Cardinals...my poor DH has been in Michigan all week and wants the Tigers to win sooo badly. He keeps calling late at night all bummed out because he has to watch the game alone and they the Tigers keep losing.

Lin... we were on the Magic. I've never been on the Wonder yet. Another reason to go The only 4 nighter I did was back in 2000 before the Wonder was sailing and they had 7 nighters. I'm sooo excited!!! RC will still be fun I'm sure!

Way to go Lyzziesmom!!! I'm SOOO happy for you!! That will be great! Here's my secret: I go to www.cruisecompete.com they send you quotes . The best so far is Cruise Vacation Outlet. They have their own site...but it was cheaper on cruisecompete. I've been working w/Robin. I can give you her email if you want. I told her that we're all going to meet and she said she might even be able to give us BETTER rates the more she books. I don't need airfare, no trip insurance and no transfers since we're driving...so that put us at $2085 for a cat 12 or $3310 for cat 6. 12 comes w/moderate and 6 comes w/verandah and deluxe. both come w/7 day park hoppers that we can upgrade to no expiration personally cat 12 is just fine but I've never gotten the verandah yet so that would be nice...we'll probably just go w/the 12 and call it good??? See what Mike thinks on that. It was a few hundred less than the disney website. I like the early dining b/c eating dinner at 8:30 is tough w/little ones. the restaurants are INCREDIBLE!!! your girls would LOVE it The deposit is $600 and the rest is due by Nov. 18th. But if you put it on a Disney visa you get 6 months at 0%... so that is nice. There is always a chance to upgrade at the port too! The only bad is w/the combo you cant get the ddp...but that's ok b/c we're not big eaters. Its nice...but not a must. we can pay oop no problem for the nice places we want and eat cheap some of the other times... How old is Emma....I think it's 2 and under you only pay the tax!!! I took Kenny a few times and it was only like $119 for him or something...can't beat that! They would love the kids clubs too. They tell you what characters will be out when and where...they have autograph sessions ..the shows..the pictures... it is truly incredible....like I said...I could go on and on

I can't wait!!! I hope you can go too!! that would be so awesome!!! It IS the ultimate!!
