Lin, good luck getting that gig at WDW! How awesome would that be? I went to college in Orlando and had friends who worked at WDW, but as I was not quite the Disney nut then that I am now, I never looked into it. I did apply to Universal back when they did Halloween Horror Nights (the very FIRST year!). The were having trouble finding people to lie in a box of rats under the walkway of a haunted house. I thought it would be cool. Yes I know, I'm kind of weird.

Did I tell you guys that my Mickey doormat and doorknocker finally came?? The mat came last week, of course it was on the one day that I didn't check the front porch for packages. DBF found it when he came over and was quite amused to see how excited I was! The knocker arrived two days ago. It is sooo cute! It's not on my door yet, because it needs some holes drilled. Of course it mounts differently than the one the house came with. I'll have to take pictures when it's all done. Now I'll have to find something else to order so I can be excited when it comes!

I cancelled the phone interview I was supposed to have this evening. The more I looked into the company, the less I was interested. Besides, this other job looks very promising. They called me three times today - they were busy checking references - and requested employment verification from my boss. I think she is getting really freaked out. I sure hope they offer me more money because I'm getting underpaid now and could really use a boost to fund that Feb trip! Hey, perhaps I can even join Linda on a cruise!

Today one of our visiting execs had her nieces visit, they are 2-year-old twins and just as cute as can be. I passed them in the hall, and a co-worker said, "Hey Lyzziesmom, that's what you need... twins!" I gave him the evil eye and told him, "Don't you dare put that curse on me!!"

Well, tonight is Trick or Treat in our town. I know Halloween isn't until Tuesday, but our own celebrates the Friday before. Tomorrow is the Fall Festival (which I really enjoy), with a parade in the evening. (Which is always too cold for me to stand out by the street for 2 hours .) I hope the weather cooperates, it rained after I went to bed last night.

Ugh....I think all the visits to that germy doctors office got me sick again! My head and throat now hurt. Now I hear Brittany upstairs a hacking and coughing. Madison on the other hand is still sleeping so I hope this means she is feeling better!

Sorry I pooped out on you last night Donna, I fell asleep at the computer. I wish our town would have trick or treat on the weekend. Ours is on Halloween and it starts at 3:00. The only kids out of school at that time is the high school and middle school. The kids that count don't get out until 3:30 not to mention most parents are still at work. Dumbest thing I have ever heard of.

Lizziesmom....my fingers are crossed for the new job and more money!

Michele...... Yeah on Blake coming home tonight. Tell him David doesn't know if he can get off for hunting and he is steaming mad. (Don't tell him I'm secretly ) He is also not sure he will be able to go with us in June! His new boss is not big on vacations apparently.

I take that back, Madison is now up and crabbier than a bear. Wish me luck!

My dad called me last night and bought us a mower for Christmas!! Ours stopped working, so we were going to have to buy a new one next year. We are going tomorrow to pick it up!

Hope Nathan has fun trick or treating tonight. Ours was last night. It was raining here though. Hope you get better weather. We had about 50 kids come. Mike and Kenny passed the candy out until I got home. I took him out for about an hour. Now I feel horrible b/c he had been fine...and now this morning he got sick again... He was all excited b/c the neighbor brought him a huge bag of candy and one of the others were giving out full size bars. They're so easy to please sometimes!

I could go on and on for hours about Disney Cruise Line. I'm wearing a disney cruise sweatshirt today I LOVE those ships!!! Well, technically I've only been on the Magic b/c when I went on the 4 night cruise...the Wonder hadn't been built yet,and there were no 7 night cruises yet either. So glad they made that addition. Hope you can get the job AND go on the cruise!!! for us 3 it was only $2085!! A great price!!

Yeah, I know.....I'm not a trash-talking fan, so I won't say anything. I will say it has been a very good World Series. Some GREAT games. Last night's game was fantastic. I'm just hoping the Cardinals can finish it off.

I haven't been feeling very well ever since I got back. Hmmm, coincidence?? No----it's my illness and it was bothering me even there---who gets calls from the doctor while on vacation?? Me. shrug. Anyway, its not looking very good right now, but I am still smiling and working and trying to deal with it. Just doing it in an EXTREMELY wiped out manner. I come home from work and crash. No hoot for me lately.

Edwardsville used to do Halloween the weekend before too, if I recall, even though I never lived there----I was out of the house by the time my parents moved there. Is this an Illinois thing?? I know mall trick or treating is big here----or at least it was a couple of years ago. I have no idea anymore. I work Tuesday (halloween) night---my usual schedule and I am booked----unreal.
Have fun at the fall festival and have fun with MIL this weekend. What's Nathan dressing up as?? Sorry if you already mentioned it.

Pozey-----yay Cards!!!! Yes, believe it or not, I am following it, even though I am not able to watch the games due to my work schedule. My clients keep me posted on every move. Hopefully the rain will hold out for the game tonight.
My neice was a little down the other night because Hannah Montana was supposed to sing the National Anthem and it got rained out. She had to fill me in on who this was. ssshhhh---bad Disney Auntie.
