Ashley...forgot to tell you...love the new tags :cool1:

I'm still shaking my head...literally..in disbelief that he said that

Vent.

I just went to put on "The View" which I record every morning and the first half was the President giving a press conference. :furious:

I know press conferences are important (sometimes I do wonder though), but why did you have to do it while The View is on?

awww. sorry Ashley!

I've still got the wdw/cruise combo 7 nights for $700pp on the brain :rolleyes1 which includes park hoppers and a moderate room... wow that's awesome!!!

not funny but a must share... Kenny had a brownie from this morning...he had been fine so I let him. He got home from school so I asked him if he wanted the rest of his brownie from this morning...he said " I don't want a f-ing brownie... My chin had to have hit the floor :furious: I said WHAT did you just say... he said a kid on the bus, drew says that word... so I quickly informed him if he ever says THAT word again he'll be in more trouble than he ever dreamed of... OMG... I can't believe he said that!!! He said he didn't know it was bad..and it is a VERY rare occasion that Mike or I curse... OMG...I still can't believe that!!
Linda.......I'm sorry for laughing, but I just couldn't help it. Like Homer Simpson would say "It's funny because it didn't happen to me." :rotfl2:

I am sure he really didn't know what he said was a bad word. I can kind of relate. Back during the summer, Chase had a friend that kept singing some kind of song that had a dirty word in it. I can't even remember what it was now. Anyway, he came home and was singing it. I asked him what he said and he told me. I asked him "do you know that is a dirty word?" He said no. He hasn't said it since.

At least it wasn't in the mall or a store.

Pozey...aren't some of these conferneces hokey? We will have one in late January and it's going to focus on mind, body, and whatever...I think they are going to have chair massage etc (at least I'm hoping). :Pinkbounc This conference is Downtown OKC. Where is the Cheesecake Factory...I didn't even know they had one. :teeth: Sounds like a place to put on my list for January. We are such duds usually...eating and then going back to the hotel for some tv. Our manager makes us share rooms...but I don't mind...I have some good friends at work (I've worked with them for 14 years). I'm not sure if anyone has noticed but I do love a good chat. :chat:
The Cheesecake Factory in Oklahoma City is right beside Penn Square Mall. It opened up about a month or so ago.

We were going to go before an OU game a few weeks ago, but I had heard the wait time to get in at that time was 3 hours.

I may suggest it to DW again next time we are in OKC.

You guys are making me hungry! Cheesecake Factory is my favorite restaurant!! (As I've said on this thread like 100 times before!!)

don't be sorry :teeth: when he said it I about started laughing but then that parental instinct kicked in and said "you can not laugh...you can not laugh" b/c then that would just encourage him and he'd think it was funny or it might make someone else laugh too...so I had to hold it back and let him know that it is not acceptable! but it is funny... :rolleyes1
I had to take him to work w/me a few months ago... there are like 10-15 guys in the office at one time. I'm the only female. We have about 5 phone lines and none are specific to one person. The phone rang like 3 or 4 times and Kenny finally came to me and said someone called and he answered it. I about DIED... then he says with this devilish smirk..."I answered ALL the calls!" :lmao: that time I couldn't hold it... I started laughing!! My boss was right there..he didn't care..thank god!! He thought it was funny too..but omg... I about fell out of my chair. :rotfl: then one of our customers called and said he kept calling and a little boy kept answering the phone :rolleyes1 he thought it was funny too since he knows Kenny!

Ahhh Cheesecake Factory  I haven't eaten there in years!!!

Happy Birthday April!!

Thanks for the breakfast Donna (even though I just saw it!).

Linda-good thing you weren't taking a drink of anything when Kenny said that! My cousins son heard about, how can I say this delicately...relations of the oral nature? On the bus when he was in 1st grade and came home and asked her about it, ugh! :sad2: You handled it well. :)

Nice tags Ashley! :woohoo: :woohoo: :dance3:

I had my EMG and nerve conduction test today, the nerve conduction one was the most uncomfortable. Everything was normal, my weird don't use a turnicate blood test was normal. So he said when there isn't a clear diagnosis for my symptoms they default to fibromyalgia ugh. He did me a prescription to treat the muscle soreness ultram I think and said we'll treat it symptomatically. So it's good that I don't have something like ALS (which since I love to research things was something I came across) but it's something that there's no reall clear cut treatment. So let me know if you guys have any experience with this. I've got to get ready for church (I'm an Awana leader) it's support your sport night so the kids get extra points for dressing up in their favorite team shirts/jerseys etc. You should see them on crazy hair and crazy hat night! :) If I don't catch up later I'll be on tomorrow!

Did someone say cheesecake factory!!!

Lesa...you get the first reply dig you say a skull and bones :scared1: :scared: :faint: I hope they were small...
Sorry Madison is still feeling bad...I was hoping she would get some rest and you too. I think it can be hard for them to get well because they can't sleep from all the coughing. :grouphug:
Thank you! I think she is getting her all of her energy from the albuteral. She is like the energizer bunny! :hyper: I took her back to the doctor. He said she still does not sound good and her wheezing has not really improved since Monday. He said since she doesn't really appear to be in distress he was going to hold off on sending her to the hospital. He does want her to continue to stay home from school so I can keep monitoring her and giving her breathing treatments every 4 hours or more.

Ashley....I love the new tags! 2 in one day!!! :cheer2:

Did you see where a kid got stuck in a claw machine? He looks like he was having the time of his life. :lmao: How on earth did he get in there? :confused3

Linda....I hope Kenny is feeling better soon! pixiedust: Sorry I had to laugh about his little potty mouth! :lmao: Been there done that with Madison at preschool. :guilty: It's not so funny when it's your own. ;)

Yep, definitely that of some type of little creature.

I do believe there was a pile of some type of black fur or feathers under the pile of bones! :faint:

Angela....I'm glad they did not find anything really serious with the EMG! :grouphug:

Happy Birthday April! party: :bday:

Good evening everyone!!! Dh and I had to go to a parent/teacher conference this evening. DS also had a Cub Scout meeting at 6:30pm. I begged off that one. Had to catch up on laundry, dishes and I'm coming down with a cold and kind of feel like crap.

He couldn't say hot, but he could say any four letter word you can think of. It's funny now, but imagine how embarrassed my mom was when Tyler would scream f'ing ****** in the store.

When I curse it's under my breath (or at least I hope it is)...but early one morning I blurted out (I was dreaming) loudly...get the fudge away (only it wasn't fudge). My DS was awake watching TV (around 6:30am) and he said MOM...what did you say. I was just laying there thinking...then I finally said get the STUFF away...he said ...oh ...ok.
Oh, you guys!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I'm was reading this at home by myself and couldn't stop laughing!!! Thanks.. I needed that!!! :goodvibes :rotfl2:

Lesa:: I hope Madison gets to feeling better soon. I think you both need a good nights sleep. Does elevating her head help any, or does it not make a difference? Hugs to you both!! :grouphug:

Donna---thanks for breakfast. I thought of you every morning----pretty much at Roaring Forks with my bagel and hot chocolate.....and the people. Hats are my savior--------who needs to look chic in WDW?? :teeth:
I would have liked to have been at Roaring Forks, eating a bagel and drinking hot cocoa (or coffee :teeth: ).
Your right about lookig chic a WDW. Don't think that is how I would describe myself on vacation, or any other time.

Angela:: I glad the test didn't show ALS. Hope you had fun at your church meeting!!

Linda::Have you made any decisions yet???? Kenny answering the phone calls cracks me up. It's funny, I can almost imagine the expression he used as he was telling you what he had done!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hope everyone is having a good evening!!! :sunny:

Evening Lovies!!!

Lesa, I found a little lizard skeleton in a light fixture once. It was both creepy and sad. This one was still in tact, looked just like a lizard only without the scales.

Angela, good to know it isn't ALS, but too bad they haven't figured it out yet. I'll keep you in my prayers!

Linda, Kenny is hilarious. I don't have kids but since I work around them all the time I have to share this story. This poor mother. There was a mom in with her kids, about 5 of them and I would put the oldest at 9. They were in the store for a loong time and I could tell she was a little perterbed about something. They finally made it up to the register and one of the little girls was crying because she wasn't getting an Ariel jacket. The mom looked at her and said something about how their lazy dad couldn't remember to balance the checkbook correctly so they couldn't get it right now. The 5 year old looks straight at me with the most nonchalant look on her little face and says, "Mom and dad are going through a very messy divorce. They really need counseling." The look on that poor womans face was priceless. It went from white to red to purple in a matter of seconds. Poor thing.

On another note, Linda, have you been to Nassau before? I hated it! The excursions were pretty lacking and the island was incredibly dirty and filled with people trying to beg money off of you. We didn't do the Dolphin swim though so hopefully it will be better.

Congrats on the tags, Ashley. I don't think the Tag Fairy likes me much either...

All your talk about Disney if February is making me wish I was going with you ladies!

Lin:: That's rather a sad story about the woman with the kids. Oh, the things kids will say!!!
Too bad you couldn't extend your January trip into February!!! :goodvibes

Well, DH is leaving tomorrow for Phoenix. He is supposed to get MIL's stuff loaded into a U-haul and will be heading back late Fri. afternoon. The original plan was for his youngest sister from OK to meet him there and help with the drive back. Older sister from Denver decides to fly in to Phoenix also. I'm going to skip all the details, but both were flying from Denver. She e-mails DH today to say that her flight from OK has already been canceled because Denver is expecting up to a foot of snow!!!. So, right now we don't know if DH's youngest sis will be able to make it to AZ. Shizitz!!! What a mess. :headache:

I really need to get to beddy-bye and get some shut-eye!!!

Hey Donna...I'm kind of feeling like crap myself...having allergy problems...feels like my head is going to explode any minute. I had to break out the Afrin to get some air to move through my nose. :teeth: I think I had this problem about a month ago. Did you get your dishes and laundry done?

Lesa...boy sounds like a rough go for Madison. Has she been hospitalized before for her asthma? We are really lucky that we never get to the severe stage because he usually just gets tight airways with broncospasms...never get too gunky or wheezy. On a rare occasion if his oxygen saturation is fine (which it always is) they will give us the narcartic cough meds....only if he is dry non-productive cough. It's great stuff but they are so stingy with it. :rolleyes1 Did you DH remove the skull and bones?

Angela...I'm glad that you are not getting bad news...hope they can get it all figured out.

I was going to say something else..... :confused3

Boy, seems like I missed alot the last day or so. New tags, a birthday, cursin' kids (and adults---Y/I'M not naming names :teeth: ), lots of yummies, etc.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY APRIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miss Ashley----well, aren't we the tag fairie's little pet?? j/k :teeth: Congrats!!!! Keep 'em comin'.

Who posted the Godiva cheescake?? Lesa?? uuuugggghhh, a little heaven on earth!!!! I am so glad they continued this-----it was supposed to be limited time only a couple of years ago. My favorite!!!!!
Did I ever post the Godiva story???? If not, remind me. I hate repeating myself.
Thanks for the visual on the mysterious roadkill, or shall I say windowwellkill. Lovely. I, thankfully, was not eating at the time of reading this. :thumbsup2 could be a thumb ---or not; your choice. :teeth:

Linda----too funny about Kenny's new (one time only) vocab!!! :rotfl2: Poor little guy---never knew what hit him. My cousin's daughter, years ago, said it in front of my grandma in the car-----used it in the correct context and everything. My gram was in shock but still had to share the story with us. :lmao: She never said this word in her life so she substituted the word, if I recall.

Donna----haven't had coffeecake in I don't know how long-----yumm!!!!! Thank you!!!!
We are the Chic Chicas-----we'll have to come up with a song. k??
Feel better sister!! We'll have to make you some hot soup.

Angela----thank goodness for your test results came back negative for ALS. Are they going to continue testing, or keep the default for fibromyalgia?? Autoimmune---I'm telling you----this is getting strange how many people I am running into that are being diagnosed. Really scary. Keep us posted. :grouphug:

YM-----you sound like me!!!! Wait till you meet me in person---this is my favorite phrase----"I forgot what I was going to say."
You feel better too.

For those of you asking for pics----haven't had time to try to figure out how to download/upload/unload-----whatever one must do to get pics from the camera to this screen. Oh, and pics of me????? guess again. :teeth:  Didn't I mention that my siggie is a self-portrait?? :confused3 ;)

Funny story----I stopped over at my sister's house after work today to give my neice and nephews their souvies from WDW. Anyway, if you all recall my mom's birthday dinner last Sept.----I brought a bottle of red wine that someone had given me that came from Italy. I was saving it for special oc(c?)as(s?)ion ---(that's really sad, huh??) and thought this may be as special as it gets for a while. Another anyway, I wanted to save the bottle because it is just lovely---a handsketched drawing of a Prince on his knee to a Princess-----right up my alley-----but we didn't finish the wine. My sister has had it since then. She finished it/cooked with it/ whatever, and carefully rinsed it so I could have it. I was leaving her house and put the empty (key word) bottle in my purse and I heard my nephew whisper to my sister, "isn't wine a bad drug??" Great-------just the impression Auntie wants to leave on her precious boy. We had to explain the whole drinking responsibly when you're of age thing--------wow, talk about teaching them young!!!! Nothing wrong with that, though!!!! Better now than never.

HI to everyone!!!!!

Well, before I find myself resorting to my infamous uni-conversation (which I haven't had to do in a looooong time, thank you), I think I'll turn in.

I tried to replicate my nights at WL by making hot cocoa in my refillable WL mug-----good, but just didn't cut it. Nothing like the real thing in the real place.

Oh, another funny story before I forget------I was lying there one night after an exhausting day trying to get to sleep. I suppose it was still a bit early for WDW standards, but like I said-----exhausted. Anyway, I hear these loud sounds-----like drawers slamming in the next room. I knew there was a family with kids next door because they had the bunk beds. The slamming kept up for quite a while and I remember thinking to myself----"what in the world (no pun) are they doing over there??" Well, my genious brain finally figured out that it wasn't drawers slamming at all------it was fireworks at MK. slap the forehead. :lmao: (shouldn't I have a permanent imprint on my hand on my forehead by now?? just asking)

Night all!!!! HOOOOOTIIEEEEEE

Good morning Cliqueless Crew!!!! I'm hungry for something sweet! (So what else is new?) I was trying to be a good girl today by just having fruit....it didn't quite work for me. I did buy some French Vanilla Caramel coffee, that was pretty good!!! Anyway, I just have the Pecan Rolls ready. There is more than one so enjoy!!!

I hope everyone has an AWESOME Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. Be careful Googling sticky buns.....you have been warned!!! YEECH!!!!

HI to everyone!!!!!

I have a similar story. Mike is a beer and wine salesman. A couple years ago Tyler learned about drugs in school, including alcohol. Tyler adores Mike (at one point, he requested that Mike be his brother and I be his sister-in-law) anyway, Tyler loves to talk about Mike. My mom calls me one night to tell me that Tyler told his teacher that Mike sells drugs!!
:scared1: :faint:  My mom had to explain that he sells only LEGAL substances. For quite a while, Tyler would walk around saying Mike sold drugs; thank god he stopped.

Good Morning Everyone!!

Did everyone hear they are painting the castle again? According to pictures, it currently has TAN paint going up. I hope they finish by my trip; I really don't want to see a bunch of painters around my castle. Why do they have to keep messing with it?

Linda, have you made a decision yet?

Angela, :grouphug: and :wizard: to you. Hopefully, they can treat you and you feel better. I hate when doctors can't explain something.

p.s. Be careful Googling sticky buns.....you have been warned!!! YEECH!!!!

:lmao: A little more than you bargained for, eh? :scared:

:wave2: all. :yo-yo: (I don't see this smilie used much)
