Hi everyone :wave2:

Nothing new happening here, except Jeremiah went to Jiffy Lube to get the oil changed and something is wrong with one of the break lights. :furious: At first they thought we just needed a new bulb, but they said they put a new one in and it still didn't work. How annoying!! So he needs to take it to Car Max. Who knows how much that is going to cost!!

Happy Birthday Matt!! :wizard:

Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday.

me too...and listening about the plane crash...!!

Me too. It's very scary! My mom was supposed to fly to Corpus Christi about a hour ago and she missed her flight! She doesn't know if she really did miss her flight or if they aren't letting any planes fly in or out.

:grouphug: Shes not in NY is she?
They may just be waiting to see what's going on. pixiedust: pixy dust for your mom!! :)

And speaking of Movie Re-Releases...PETER PAN in MARCH!

I can't watch Fox and the Hound. I remember balling like a baby seeing it when I was little, can't even remember why it was so sad. But, to this day I will not watch it, but of course I have to buy it anyway...

Had a nice picnic with my husband for lunch today. Made some tuna sandwhiches and packed up the lunch and the doggies and met him at his office. It was fun!

Now I'm avoiding cleaning my bathroom...which is REALLY in need of a cleaning.

So scary about New York! Just got an email from a friend that lives in an apartment less than a mile away from the crash. Shes okay, but everyone is a little on edge.

Glad you had a great picnic Lin! how sweet!

they confirmed it was a Yankees baseball player and 3 passengers that crashed. Hope your mom gets home soon Nicole :worried:

2x2...Wow you are lucky that your hot water heater went while you were home. What a mess that would have been to come home to.

Ashley...Ruby looks so cute in her jammies. I'm telling you she needs her own room. Just think how cute you could decorate it!

Lin...How is Chris feeling? Make sure he knows we are all pulling for him here!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT party: :cake: :bday: What...one more year..and you'll be driving right? :teeth:

Yes, heaven help us all! He has his permit now. They can take driver's ed here at 14 years 8 months and he was bugging to do it as soon as possible. Which actually works out well. When he is being a bit of a pain, driving is what we take away! :drive:

We had some excitement at school today! The county sheriff brought the dogs in to sniff for drugs. I was standing at the front doors when we saw them just start whipping into the parking lot. We ended up with at least 8 sheriffs cars and 3 city cars. They did the HS and MS at the same time. There were 4 dogs for each building. Then they did all the cars in the parking lot. Luckily nothing was found!! Since I have keys to everything I had to follow the 2 dogs that went upstairs so I could open something if they needed it. They didn't. But my problem is that as beautiful as the dogs were I am extremely allergic. By the time they left I could barely breathe. Luckily I had my inhaler with me. Before they leave they always plant some drugs somewhere in the building so the dogs can be 'successful' well they put it under the chair I use in the front lobby. So I had 4 dogs knocking my chair over, scratching at the vinyl seat and they left doggy drool everywhere. :confused3

It made for an interesting day! Matt just called so I am off to get him from football and go to his birthday dinner. I will have to show him all the birthday greetings he got from everyone.

Have a good one!!

Bad news... I was supposed to have heard from the hiring manager of the job I interviewed for by today, and I haven't heard from them. I'm hoping they just got a little behind schedule, but it seems doubtful at this point. All day I was stressing out about it, and of course I forgot my cell phone at home so I had to wait until I got home to see if they called. They didn't. So now I am Miss Crabbypants, and I find myself being very snippy with the kids and I just hate that.

Today was the first time I really saw the guy at work who I went out with on Saturday since the date. I of course was home on Monday, and he left early yesterday because they thought his grandmother was dying (false alarm). So today, he stopped by my desk at his lunchtime to chat as usual, and then came back in the back door again! It started to bother me a little bit, but what bothers me more is the fact that it bothers me. Does that make any sense? Well I hate it that I let little stuff like that get to me, but it turns out he's just used to using the back door. Duh. We have another date for this Saturday, yay!! I'm going to try to put together a 'game night' with another guy at work and his wife, who I've met and we got along well. We've been talking about it for a while, but it would be awkward with just them and me, so this may be a good opportunity to revive my social life. And incentive to get this house whipped into shape!!

Michele, what an exciting day for you! Too bad about the allergies though... sheesh, couldn't they have used someone else's chair?? And if I didn't say it already, Happy Birthday Matt! It has been Birthday Central around here lately, hasn't it? Good thing all this cake is virtual, I can just go to the virtual gym to work it off.

Hi, everybody!! :wave2:
Colder weather is moving into our area. Time for good hot Chili or my homemade lasagna. I always tell DH I will make the lasagna when the weather cools off. I may have to plan some for next week!!

Amber:: The dentist mentioned surgery if something is not done to correct Nathan's underbite now. I had visions of exactly what you described. Breaking his jaw and resetting it. I don't think so!!!!

YourMajesty:: Nice to see you up and at 'em this morning. I didn't plan for you to read about my bathroom incident so early!! Sorry!!!

Y'know, I bet you're right. Now that you mention it, I am pretty sure they were off on Monday. I completely forgot about Columbus Day, and they did mention that they had a hard time scheduling things with the higher-ups (who would be in on the 2nd interviews). Thanks, I feel a tiny bit better now. I still want to call them to follow up, but I don't want to come across as too pushy. Aaaack! I hate making decisions!!!

I'm sooo excited!! I finally got the bouncing Halloween Mickey
