So Donna, I guess you're not in stealth mode for this trip?
Not exactly traveling light, am I???? It's gonna' be hard to hide in the bushes with all this equipment!!!! :lmao:

:bday: party: to Matt!! A learners permit is a big deal, I remember my mom teaching me how to drive a stick shift on some deserted road. :) Unfortunately I failed my first drivers test (got honked at right as I exited the DMV but instructor let me finish anyway). :rotfl:

So I'm all set to get the EMG today and see the results of those weird blood tests and they scheduled me for Wednesday the 25th!! At the last appointment the Dr. said he wanted to see me next week and then again at the appointment desk, make sure you get your blood work done so we have it next week. So I'm a little early and sitting the parking lot I look at my appointment card and it says the 25th so I call from me cell and the card was correct. I was a little upset since I was just ready to get this over with, I really think the scheduler made a mistake but they can't fit in an EMG so I went home. Thanks for thinking of me Donna!

Linda I love all the Kenny stories so funny! You need to save all these posts about him so he can read it later on. :)

2x2 whoohoo you are almost Orlando bound!! :dance3:

Where has Precious Pixie been? I haven't seen her post in awhile (I'm sure nursing school is keeping her busy) :wave2:

Hope all you hoot hoot's have a good night! :wave2: to everyone I missed!

Oh Angela, don't you just hate that?? They will tell you to come back next week and then they are all booked up for the next month. Hello?? That's right up there with the Dr. telling you that you NEED some sort of meds that your insurance will not cover, or referring you to a specialist who is not on the insurance. Bleccch!

Hi Angela :wave2: Sorry you didn't get your results today :guilty: :grouphug: I do hate when that happens. I think it was 2 weeks ago Mike called me and told me I got a letter from child support and I had a hearing at the csea office the following Wed. I didn't pay attention and the next week came... on Tues. I get to work.. an hour and 20 minutes from home mind you...and happen to look at that letter to show my boss...and it was for that day...Tues. not Wed :faint: Talk about panicking...I was there for a whole hour and headed back home to change :sad2: God was looking out for me that day. If I'd have missed that appt...that would have changed my child support from $800 a month to $120  !!! But..now we have to go to court anyway!!! So... The 25th is your appt... we'll help remind you ;)

you're right...I should print these for his scrapbook :teeth: The thinks he comes up w/ just kills me. He just knows how to make my heart melt :cloud9: but I'm sure your children do that too...well that may change for a few years later when he's a teen...but I'm sure enjoying every moment of it right now :lovestruc

Good luck the 25th :grouphug:

Hey...it looks like Donna has some extra seats too :rolleyes1

Angela, I'm sorry to hear about the scheduling problems. Don't you just want to get it over with?
I learned to drive a stick on a country road, too!! It was an old VW bus!! :rotfl2:

There's plenty of room!!! Everyone pile in!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Nathan wants me to watch some of The Little Mermaid with him. Have a good night everyone!!! :wave2:

I learned to drive a stick - my first driving lesson actually, it was a '84 Toyota Tercel hatchback, dad bought it when I was in the 4th grade and told me it would be mine someday, never thinking I would remember, never mind that the car would make it - in the mall parking lot on Thanksgiving Day when the mall was closed. I bunny-hopped all over that lot, until my dad finally decided to hire me a driving instructor!!

Hey all!!!

Just a another quicky hello. I feel so terrible that I haven't had the time to "personalize" my posts but know that you are all in my thoughts as I try to scramble to prepare to leave.

It has definitely been a hectic couple of weeks. And guess what????................stomach flu is going around. YAY. I was up all last night-----I'll spare the details. I just thought I had taken my nightly meds too close to eating so I went ahead and went to work today anyway------picking my battles, remember?? So, I lived on soda crackers and sprite today. Then I find out that one girl in the spa called in sick and two other hair stylists were out as well with the stomach flu. oops. I don't have time for this!!!! I am feeling better now but just really tired and headachy.

So, still trying to get some loose ends tied up in the meantime. I'm aggrevated----as I was switching to my new handbag :teeth: :teeth: ---the one that put plenty of miles on my already overdrawn mileage pool----I came across a medical req for bloodwork that I was supposed to have done either Monday or Tuesday-----completely forgot!!! Another oops. So, now I have to figure out when I can run and have that done. Lovely.

CALGON------TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Soon enough, soon enough.

Miss Donna----I am practicing my camera -ready poses for ya. :teeth: And I'm gonna smile just like that!!!!

Ash---I was talking about Ruby's pink icing polka dots on her face from the cake eating binge. She does look darling in her lamb jams, though!!

It may be cutting it close, but, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT!!!!!!!!!!

Lyzziesmom-----Don't poo-poo the interview just yet-----you know how scheduling goes. I'd at least give them till the end of the week. :grouphug: Yay for a second date!!!! I'm envious!!

YM--I keep forgetting to tell you that I saw that Pei Wei place by my work. I never knew it was there until recently. I saw it and thought to myself, "self, that's the place that YM always mentions and I can't remember the correct pronunciation." Just thought it was worth a mention. :confused3 :teeth:

Hi to everyone!!!!! I read so fast----I know I was laughing at many of your posts----just running out of time-----must sleep. Lots to do tomorrow before work.

Night. Night. Hoots.

p.s. where's Jill?????

Have a MAGICAL THURSDAY!!!!!

Good Morning!!

Hi, Donna!

Today will be busy! Matt has his first appt with the counselor at 2 so Blake will take him. I have to go to conferences. They start at 3, so when I get off work I will pop over to the HS, do as many as I can. Change into my winter wear for Matt's football game at 4, then back to school to see any teachers I missed earlier.

Matt's birthday dinner was fun, my folks went with us and my mom was teasing Matt and having him ask for more drinks, bread etc The waitress was really flirting with him and paying no attention to the rest of us!

Have a great Thursday!!

**Michele:: I'm glad Matt's dinner was a success!!! At least Matt got to work his charms to his advantage!
Teacher conferences!! I need to call to schedule Nathan's. Thanks for the reminder. :thumbsup2

**Jill:: We do miss you cupcake!! Are you busy with school? Had to take a last-minute trip with DH? Just hope you are OK!!! :goodvibes

**2x2s::Don't forget the bloodwork today!!!! :rolleyes1 Dh had a touch of that "St. Louis" flu last week, he missed 2 days of work. Yeech!!!!
And since it doesn't look I'm going to catch you as you're posting, I have a special message just for you!!!

Hello Everyone!

lyzziesmom, I agree with everyone else that the new company probably is behind. If you don't hear something by tomorrow, I would call. I was told that companies like when someone calls back, it shows interest. I have done that with each interview and I get hired. Good Luck!

Angela, so sorry for the doctor. Just think, pretty soon you will be in WDW!!! Time is just flying by for me; is it the same for you?

2x2s, :wizard: so that you feel great on your trip. Here, this should help you feel better

Lyzziesmom, so how excited are you about this weekend? Is the other couple coming over too? I'm sure you'll here from the other job this week, I know you'll keep us posted.

Amber it is going by fast for me, I'm making some of those flour mickey head shirts for a friends 2 boys (they are going on Saturday) so that's giving me practice to make them for my boys. Can't wait to get there!

Today is PJ Day for Connor's class and I he forgot his pillow so I need to get myself ready, Ben dressed (and dropped off at Mother's Day Out) and then back to Connor's school (15 min. down the road) :moped: so I'll chat with you guys later!

Angela- That's too bad about you scheduling problems.

2X- pixiedust: so you can get to feeling better. Last Dec before my trip I felt like I was getting a cold a week before I left. I panicked and got some Zicam because I had heard about it on hear, and it worked! I hope you feel better soon!

Michelle- Your school story was so funny! I'm glad Matt had a great b day dinner!

Lyzziesmom- Wait just a few more days and then call back. I'm so happy that you have a second date!

Oh, not very excited. Only about like this:
Don't know about the other couple yet, I still need to confirm. It might not happen for this weekend, so I need a backup plan!

I learned to drive when I was 17!!! My parents had to practically threaten me to learn to drive! I got a little car that year and it just sat there collecting dust. They said they would take it away if I didn't learn how to drive. I guess I would have rather just watched tv! I was never really one of those people who couldn't wait to learn to drive. I just learned when I was ready.

Nicole, that's ok. I had a friend who didn't learn to drive until she was 23! She just didn't think she needed to.

I also learned at 17, but I would have liked to have learned earlier, I just wasn't allowed.

UGH......we have a blizzard coming down right now. It is snowing so hard that I cannot see across the street. :guilty: Grace didn't know what to think of all that white stuff. She went nuts racing around the backyard like a maniac. :lmao: This is what it looks like outside right now.

The waffles look good Donna but I think I have to pass today, I have an awful sore throat and I'm sure I have an ear infection. I can't hear a darn thing. :listen: I think I'll just drink my cup o tea.

2x....You certainly have had a busy week and none of it good. It are definitely in need of a Disney vacation! :cool1: 2 Days 2 go! :dance3:

I wasn't allowed to drive until I was 17 either and that was only because my parents got tired of having to drive across town to take me to work. I think they would have held out until I was 18.
Here's some pixie dust pixiedust: My fingers are crossed that you will hear from that company today. Nothing worse than waiting and not knowing! :guilty: And Hurray for another date weekend! :cheer2:

Hi to everyone! Hope ya'll have a great Thursday! Don't forget a new :cool1: Grey's Anatomy, Survivor and ER are on tonight!

Lesa I can't believe you are having snow today! My boys would flip out, it snows once in a blue moon here in TN. Our high today is only 63 so fall is here! :) Sorry you're feeling yucky :grouphug:

I can't believe you're getting snow. I like fall and winter, but I am not prepared for it to start snowing. We are supposed to get a cold front today; as long as it doesn't snow though I'm fine.

I got my learner's permit when I was 15 (right after my birthday). I couldn't wait to drive. On my 16th birthday I went to take my driving test and failed! I think it was unfair (long story), but I went back the following week and passed (everyone in my family has failed their test at least once. Apparently, we are not a family of "good" drivers :teeth: )

I also had a friend that was in her twenties before she learned to drive. She never had to learn, because I drove her everywhere.
