YM - I got cortisone last week at the dr and the next day I could tell it was working (of course it was for something totally different). I hope it will work for you and I hope they are able to find a solution to your problem with the MRI next week.

YM, I went through the same thing several months ago with my back. Those cortisone shots are a nasty little thing aren't they? Now imagine one going into your behind. It was loads of fun. I seem to remember it hurt pretty bad for a day or two, then it felt GREAT for about 3 days, then all was back to "normal" for me. Which means it didn't help, long term. I hope you have better luck!

Good night everyone, AGAIN. And I mean it this time!!

I may have to drive by just to look and see if they have them. And if one should happen to fall into my car because I drive too close to the window, then I guess I'll just have to drink it won't I?

Thats funny I use that same principal for if I ever happen to drive by JD someday :rolleyes1

Thanks precious pixie! I haven't gone back to read yet....I hope you had a good day today. Did you make it ok? :goodvibes

Good evening!! Betty Rubble checking in!! :teeth:
Internet is still on the blink, DH is rather upset with our provider at this moment. Unfortunately, for the type of work he does, this provider is the only option right now. :sad2:

I looked up Ashley's itinerary earlier and here is Tues. & Wed.:
*Tuesday, Animal Kingdom day!! Get up the courage to ride EE for the first time! And Concourse Steakhouse reservations at 7:00 pm, hopefully can ride the monorail in time to catch Wishes at MK (Can you tell this is my favorite nighttime show???)

*Wednesday, Downtown Disney Day, AKA Shopping Day!!!! We may go to Magic Kingdom sometime in the afternoon if we feel up to it, then 7:40 ADR's for 'Ohana! ETA: We may also try out the awesome pool at POFQ! (Atleast it looks awesome from the pictures I've seen!)

Amber:Good luck giving up caffeine. I just can't seem to do without it. Have to have my coffee in the morning and a couple of diet cokes during the day!

lyzziesmom:It's wonderful news about being able to once again establish your credit. You should be proud of yourself to be able to overcome all you have been through. We are all proud of you, that's for sure!
Lyzzie is taking the news about the Feb. trip so well! I don't expect Nathan to have that reaction. I plan on using key words such as a bunch of women shopping and eating at fancy restaurants. He will probably roll his eyes, shake his head and walk away.

YourMajesty:Sure hope you get to feeling better. You gave me the courage to call my dentist this morning. I have an appointment for Friday afternoon, lucky me!!!!

Precious Pixie:The tone of your posting suggests to me that you are perhaps feeling more like yourself. :goodvibes Remember not to overdo. did you make it to work and school today, I don't remember seeing that?

pozey: We decorate a little on the outside, but we aren't too elaborate. I'm with Linda; it's too cold here most of the time and what goes up must come down. I do like to decorate the inside, but I really don't go overboard with it. I have my special wall hangings and holiday greenery that are my favorites.

Lesa:Thank goodness the pesky siding/roofing people are gone. I'll bet your house looks super!! Madison sounds so cute....didn't think her sis loved her?
I have a sister that is 18 months younger than I and she is now my best friend. I'm sure that wasn't the case when we were young girls!!

2x2s:You deserve a pat on the back for your healthy eating. My eating habit have been horrendous lately and I can tell it in the way I feel. Hang in there sister, you'll be ready to take on the world in less that THREE weeks!! :thumbsup2

Not much happened to me today, it's been a rather uneventful day. :rolleyes1

Hey lyzziesmom...I know you are going to bed BUT yes...that shot was painful(ouchy...in the behind for you). Sorry they didn't help any longer for you...darn. :sad2:

Hey did that hooty owl have a picture of Elvis in it? I was cracking up. I could just see a ceramic club meeting to make Elvis ceramic treasures. :rotfl2:

Night night.

fun fact for the day:

Coffee is the healthiest drink you can have. It contains more antioxidants than any other drink.

now keep in mind this is for coffee not cappacinos, or frappacinos, or any of those :rolleyes1 . of course this is also in relation to people of normal (whatever that is  ) health and dont have certain conditions that caffeine may upset.

nice disclaimer huh

Welcome Linzybrooke!!! :welcome: Please join in anytime!!

Gee!! I see I missed quite a few posts while I was composing my days' recap!!

Hi everyone!!! :wave2:

I just saw Betty Rubble has joined us. It's about bedtime for you so I'll make it snappy. Good luck at your dentist appt. Looks like you and me and Linda will have dentist reports coming up soon...how exciting. :teeth: :rotfl: Just laughing at my dorkiness. Yes, I like your approach to the Dis meet; shopping, dining, visiting...oh and don't forget to refer to it as a convention. Maybe it will be a women's nutrition convention (nutrition referring to all the nutrients we will be getting for all the eating we will be doing) popcorn::

Hey, one of my dream ambitions is to take a pottery class-----seriously!!!!

Does anyone remember macrame?? Ya know, those braided thingies. I have no idea what they were made of. All I remember is that they used to stink when they were being braided and the fibers used to get all over. I swear my mom had so many macrame plant holders in the day. Casey Kassum presents................the '70's.............."do the hustle". :dance3:

nutrition convention, makes sense since I know I will be intaking alot of calcium with that kitchen sink (Ijust cant get it out of my head) :teeth:

Hi 2x! :thumbsup2 great job on WF!!!!!!! I love how proud of myself I am when passing up a sweet. It is a very hard thing to do and you did great.

I am feeling much better today! I feel normal again. :teeth:

Um, yeah, I purchased two containers of "Laura's Wholesome Junk Food"--one is oatmeal raisin bites and the other is chocolate fudge bites.
Leave it to me to hunt down the sweets in an organic market. Hey, nobody's perfect. :teeth:

Good Night Jill!!! :wave2:

Well, girls, I'm gonna have to turn in. No Hooting for me tonight!!
I think I'd better floss really good before I go to bed. :guilty: :teeth:

Good night Jill---

we'll have to get a picture of you with your Kitchen Sink!!!
We'll just hide our spoons for the photo. :teeth:

Night Donna!!!

All this talk about dentists reminds me to call and make an appt. yuk. I dislike (because hate is a strong word) going to the dentist!!!! And my momma works for him!!
